Product Usage Instructions:
Cutting Instructions:
Follow the cutting instructions provided in the pattern. Use the
Width of Fabric (WOF) and Length of Fabric (LOF) measurements for
accurate cuts. Sew strips via short ends and subcut as indicated in
the pattern.
Materials Needed:
- Fabric A: White – 3/8 yard
- Fabric B: Navy – 1 yard
- Fabric C: Pink Stripe – 3/8 yard
- Fabric D: Pink Small Vine – 1/4 yard
- Fabric E: Banana Daisy – 1/2 yard
- Fabric F: Pink Mini Daisy – 1-1/4 yards
- Fabric G: White Superior Solids – 1-2/3 yards
Block Assembly:

Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of Fabric F 2
squares. -
Place one Fabric F 2 square right sides together on one side of
Fabric G 2 x 3-1/2 rectangle. -
Sew on the line, trim excess to 1/4 inch, then press open.
Repeat on the other side of the G rectangle to complete UNIT 1.
Make 80 of these units. -
Use Fabric B 3-1/2 squares and Fabric G 3-1/2 x 6-1/2
rectangles to make UNIT 2. Make 20 of these units. -
Use Fabric B 5 squares and Fabric G 5 x 9-1/2 rectangles to
make UNIT 3. Make 4 of these units. -
Follow the specific layout instructions provided to assemble
the blocks accordingly.
Binding:
Refer to the pattern for binding instructions once the blocks
are assembled.

4. Lay out (4) UNIT 1, (4) G 2″ squares and (1) D 3-1/2″ square into (3) rows of (3). Sew into rows and join the rows to

make BLOCK 1A. Square to 6-1/2″, make (10).
5. In the same way make (10) BLOCK 1B using E 3-1/2″ squares.

6. In the same way, lay out (4) UNIT 2, (4) G 3-1/2″ squares
and (1) A 6-1/2″ square into (3) rows of (3). Sew into rows
and join the rows to make BLOCK 2. Square to 12-1/2″,
make (5).
7. In the same way, lay out (4) UNIT 3, (4) G 5″ squares and (1)
A 9-1/2″ square into (3) rows of (3). Sew into rows and join the rows to make BLOCK 3. Square to 18-1/2″, make (1).

Sew E 3-1/2″ x 18-1/2″ strips to opposite sides of BLOCK 3.
Sew E 3-1/2″ x 24-1/2″ strips to the top and bottom to
complete the star center.

QUILT ASSEMBLY: Refer to QUILT DIAGRAM for proper placement and rotation.
8. Sew (2) BLOCK 2 together and sew to the right side of the STAR CENTER. Sew
(3) BLOCK 2 together and sew to the bottom.
9. Sew (3) BLOCK 1A and (3) BLOCK 1B together into a vertical row. Sew to the left side of the quilt. Sew the top block row by joining (4) BLOCK 1A and (3) BLOCK 1B. Sew the bottom row by joining (4) BLOCK 1B and (3) BLOCK 1A. Sew rows to the top and bottom.
STAR CENTER make (1)
10. Sew C 4-1/2″ x WOF strips to the top and bottom to finish the quilt top. Trim ends to quilt width if needed.
FINISHING: Cut batting and backing 3″ larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top together and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind with F fabric (pink quilt) or A fabric (blue quilt).
