Product Usage Instructions

  1. Install Side Exterior Panel
    Attach the Side Exterior Panel by fastening (3X) 1/4-20 X 3/4 Button Head Bolts and (3X) 1/4-20 Lock Nuts. Ensure proper alignment and secure attachment.

  2. Install Support Brackets to Toolbox (Optional if mounting to Single Lid or Gullwing)
    Align the (2X) Support Brackets with the preset 3/16 holes on the bottom of the toolbox on each end. Secure the brackets by fastening (4X) 10-24 X 5/8 Button Head Bolts and (4X) 10-24 Lock Nuts.

  3. Position Mounting J-Hooks
    Determine the best placement for the (2X) Mounting J-Hooks. Align and attach the hooks to the designated slots.

  4. Remove the 2 Inner Guard Panels
    Using an Allen wrench, unscrew the 4 button head mounting screws and remove both inner guard panels to access the mounting screws of the front panel.

  5. Mount Small Panel to Toolbox
    Screw the 10 mounting screws from the inside of the toolbox to mount the small panel. Reinstall the inner guard panels.

  6. Install Lo-Side to Single Lid/Gullwing
    Insert (2X) .25-20 X 3/4 Button Head Bolts through the inside of the Single Lid/Gullwing toolbox. Add the supplied (2X) 3/16 Spacers onto the threads of the bolt. Align the Lo-Side toolbox onto the bolts and fasten with (2X) .25-20 Lock Nuts.

  7. Fasten Lo-Side to Truck Bed
    Align Support Brackets to the side of the bed and install using the (4X) Tek Self-Tapping Screws. Position and fasten the J-Hooks to the bed rail, ensuring not to over-tighten to avoid damage to plastic bedsides.

Note: Always refer to the user manual for detailed instructions and safety guidelines.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Install Side Exterior Panel
    Attach the Side Exterior Panel by fastening (3X) 1/4-20 X 3/4 Button Head Bolts and (3X) 1/4-20 Lock Nuts (see 1).
    On the opposite side of the toolbox, plug the lower open hole (see 1a) by fastening (1X) 1/4-20 X 3/4 Button Head Bolt and (1X) 1/4-20 Lock Nut placing the head of the bolt on the outside of the box. The top two bolt holes (see 1b) will be used to fasten the Lo-Side box to the Single Lid (if mounting solo, plug all holes with button heads).
    Note : The Side Exterior Panel can be attached to either side of the toolbox to accommodate both driver-side and passenger-side-mounted boxes

  2. Install Support Brackets to the Toolbox
    (Optional if mounting to Single Lid or Gullwing)
    Align the (2X) Support Brackets with the preset 3/16 holes on the bottom of the toolbox on each end (see 2). Install the bracket by fastening (4X) 10-24 X 5/8 Button Head Bolts and (4X) 10-24 Lock Nuts placing the head of the bolt inside of the toolbox.

  3. Position Mounting J-Hooks
    Determine which of the existing six slots provides the best placement for the (2X) Mounting J-Hooks. While not tightening, align and screw on the mounting hooks (see 3) .
    SKIP TO STEP 8 IF MOUNTING LO-SIDE TOOLBOX SOLO (NO SINGLE-LID/GULLWING)

  4. Remove the 2 Inner Guard Panels
    Using an Allen wrench, unscrew the 4 button head mounting screws and take off both inner guard panels. This is to provide access to the mounting screws of the front panel.

  5. Remove Front Panel

    • A : Using an Allen wrench, unscrew the 12-button head mounting bolts located on the inside of the toolbox (see 5A circled in red).
    • B : Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the 6 mounting bolts shown in figure 5B from the L-Track on the panel. Leave all bolts not circled. The panel will be free to remove after this.
    • C : Remove the 6 hex spacers from the front of the toolbox (see 5A circled in green).CTA-5075-8642-LO-SIDE-BOX-FIG- \(4\)
  6. Mount Small Panel to Toolbox
    Using a Phillips head screwdriver, screw the 10 mounting screws from the inside of the toolbox.
    Reinstall the 2 inner guard panels from step 4.

  7. Install Lo-Side to Single Lid/Gullwing
    Insert (2X) .25-20 X 3/4 Button Head Bolts through the inside of the Single Lid/Gullwing toolbox (see 7a). Add the supplied (2X) 3/16 Spacers onto the threads of the bolt (see 7b). Align the Lo-Side toolbox onto the bolts and fasten with (2X) .25-20 Lock Nuts.

  8. Fasten Lo-Side to Truck Bed
    Align Support Brackets to the side of the bed and install using the (4X) Tek Self-Tapping Screws (optional if mounting to Single Lid or Gullwing).

  • Make sure not to over-tighten mounting hardware. Some plastic bedsides may bend if over-tightened.*

  • Can I mount the Side Exterior Panel on either side of the toolbox?
  • Yes, you can attach the Side Exterior Panel to either side of the toolbox to accommodate both driver-side and passenger-side mounted boxes.
