Precautions

  • Please seek professional help. Installation or servicing of this product by persons without training and experience in electronic equipment and automotive accessories may be dangerous and could expose you to the risk of electric shock, injury or other hazards.
  • This product is only suitable for vehicles with 12V DC Power system. Do not install it on vehicles whose power supply is not 12V DC, or it may damage the product or cause a fire due to overvoltage.
  • Do not allow this product to come into contact with liquids. Otherwise it may result in electrical shock: or product damage.
  • Please turn off the car and disconnect the positive battery terminal before installation to prevent product damage or fires caused by short circuits.
  • All wires should be insulated after installation to prevent product damage or fires caused by short circuits.
  • Please do not use the car audio after the engine is turned off for a long time, or it will drain the battery power.
  • If this product is exposed to water damage or foreign matter is discovered in the product while you’re driving, please park your vehicle in a safe place, tum off the ignition switch(ACC OFF) immediately and consult your dealer or Eonon customer service. Do not use this product in this condition because doing so may result in a fire, electric shock, or other failure.
  • If smoke, strange noises or unusual odors occur during normal use, or any other abnormal signs appear on the LCD screen, please turn off the power immediately and consult your dealer or Eonon customer service. Home Screen

The home screen is the starting point to access all of the features on your phone. It displays application shortcuts, icons, widgets, and other features.

Bluetooth

Note: This product only supports calls via Bluetooth and Bluetooth music by connecting the Bluetooth on your phone. It supports Bluetooth OBD-11 (EONON V0056). Other Bluetooth devices are not supported.

CAUTION: For your safety, please avoid talking on the phone as much as possible while driving.

Note:

  • The operation of different mobile phone type5 may differ. For detailed instnJctions, plea5e refer to the user manual of your phone.
  • It is not guaranteed that all mobile phones with Bluetooth wireless technology can be connected.
  • The distance between thi5 product and your phone must be less than 5 meters when using 81uetooth.

Note:

  • Resume playback is not supported as the music Bluetooth device plays is not from the head unit.
  • Please avoid using your phone as much as possible when you’re playing music via Bluetooth. Or noises may occur when the music is playing.
  • The music may stop playing during a Bluetooth call.

Wireless CarPlay setup steps:

  1. Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth of your iPhone.
  2. Find Bluetooth of the head unit (Bluetooth name: CarKit blink; password: 0000) and connect to it.
  3. Tap Use CarPlay on the prompt asking for CarPlay to access your phone while it is locked (as shown in picture 1).

Note: Please do not connect to Bluetooth manually after accessing CarPlay. If you want to use Bluetooth, please click on the WiFi icon to disconnect CarPlay first (as shown in picture 2).

Android Auto

Wired Android Auto setup steps:

Note:

  1. Please make sure that your phone supports Google services and Android Auto.
  2. Please be sure to use the USB cable labeled “CarPlay/Android Auto”, or Android Auto will not be available.

Wireless Android Auto setup steps:

  1. Go to the Play Store and download the Android Auto App on your phone (as shown in picture 1).
  2. Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth of your iPhone.
  3. Find Bluetooth of the head unit (Bluetooth name: CarKit_blink; password: 0000) and connect to it.
  4. It will turn on T LINK APP automatically and enter Android Auto after connecting the Bluetooth successfully.

GPS Navigation

How to use GPS Navigation on Eonon Android car stereos?

1. 0nlinemap
Google Maps app is preinstalled on Eonon car stereo. You can use online map after connecting the head unit to the network.

2. Offline map
If you are in an area where downloading the data of Google offline map is supported, you can save the map data of that area to the car stereo in Google Map and use it offline. Or you can download other offiine map apps in the Google Play such as Here WeGo.

3. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
For iPhone, the map on the phone can be synchronized to the car stereo screen via Apple CarPlay.
For Android phone, the map on the phone can be synchronized to the car stereo screen via Android Auto.

Tips:

  • You can also enter Google Play to download other navigation apps like Waze, Sygic, etc.
  • Some navigation apps will specify the storage path of map data. Storing map data to an external Micro SD card or a USS flash drive is not supported.

GPS settings
Enter Settings-> General-> Navigation application to select a navigation app as Navigation shortcut.

Enter Settings - > Sound -> Navi audio channel to set up navigation audio channel.
When set to Mixing, you can still listen to radio, music or hear other sounds when the navigation voice is speaking. You can change the volume of radio, music or other sounds by adjusting the value of Mix Settings.

Wi-Fi
Support connecting to the network via Wi-Fi.

OBD-11
OBD-ll(On-Board Diagnostics) is a computer-based self-diagnostic system built into your car which monitors emissions, mileage, speed and more.
Torque is a vehicle I car performance I diagnostics tool and scanner that uses an OBD II Bluetooth adapter to connect to your OBD2 engine management I ECU. You can see what your car is doing in realtime, get OBD fault codes, car performance, sensor data and more.

This product supports 11,e installation of various applications. but 1here is no guarantee that all applications will be compatible.

LCD Screen Usage
Screen cleaning:

  1. Please turn off the power and wipe the screen gently with a soft cloth. When you wipe the screen, please avoid scratching the screen with your fingernails.
  2. Do not use wet cloth, volatile oil or diluter to clean the screen.

Note:

  • Sometimes there are small black dots or flashing dots(bright spots) on the LCD screen. This is typical LCD phenomenon and not a symptom of any defect or failure.
  • When used in a cold place, the screen may be dark after powering on. After a while, normal brightness will be restored.
  • Screen reflection may occur when the sun shines directly on the screen. Anti-glare cover or film can be purchased to reduce reflections from direct sunlight on the screen.
  • Please avoid direct sunlight on the LCD screen when not driving. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures may cause LCD screen malfunction.
  • Do not press hard on the screen to avoid product failure.
  • Operating temp range: -20 C to +60 C
  • Storage temp range: -30 C to + 70 ·c

GPS Antenna Installation

The GPS antenna can be mounted inside or outside the vehicle, such as the dashboard or the roof of vehicle.

Note:
The GPS antenna must be mounted in an open place. If the windshield is equipped with an explosion-proof membrane or a thermal insulation film, the satellite signal of GPS antenna may be weakened. In this case, it is recommended to install the GPS antenna outside the vehicle.

Brightness mode
Select [auto], the car stereo will switch between night and day mode depending on whether the car light is turned on or not.

Select [day], the screen brightness stays in day mode.
Select [night]. the screen brightness stays in night mode.

Panel light setting: Set up the panel light
Follow the headlight: The panel light will only light up after the headlight is turned on.

Normally on: The panel light will stay on after turning on the head unit.

Reversing system selection
Select [auto], it will automatically recognize the format of the backup camera. If it can’t recognize the format of the backup camera, please set up the format manually. For example, if you use a 720P\25fps AHD camera, please select [AHD 720p 25fps].

Factory settings
The password of factory setting is [123456]. Factory settings are for configuration during the manufacturing process. Please do not change them arbitrarily, or the car stereo may not work properly.

FAQ

Blank screen/Can’t power on:

1. Please press the RST button of the car stereo.
2. Please check if the car stereo has stable DC12V voltage?
3. Please check if the car stereo fuse is burnt out?
4. Please reconnect the BATI +/ACC/GND wires of the car stereo to the BATI +/ACC/GND wires of the original car.

Radio is not working properly:

1. Please check if the radio area is set correctly.
2. Please check if the radio antenna is connected properly and reconnect it to have a try.
3. Please check if the ANT control cable is connected properly and reconnect it to have a try.

No sound:

1. Please reconnect the 4 sets of speaker output wires in ISO PORT with the interface of the original car speaker.
2. Please make sure that the amplifier control wire (REM) of the original car is properly connected to the amplifier control wire of the car stereo.

Images do not automatically change while reversing:
Please connect the reverse control wire of the car stereo to the backup camera trigger wire.

There is no image while reversing:
Enter Settings->Reverse—> Reversing system selection to set up the format of the backup camera.

No GPS signal:
1. Please check whether the GPS antenna is connected properly and reconnect it to have a try.
2. Please confirm whether you’re in an area where GPS signal is shielded. Please drive for a while to see if the GPS signal is restored.

Android Auto is not working:
1. Please make sure that your phone supports Google services and Android Auto. Please note that some mobile phones don’t support Android Auto, and some mobile phones only support wired Android Auto but not wireless Android Auto.
2. If your phone supports Android Auto, please install Android Auto APP from the Play store before using it.
3. To use wired Android Auto, please use the original data cable and connect it to the USB cable labeled “CarPlay/Android Auto” of the head unit.

4. To use wireless Android Auto, please turn on WiFi and Bluetooth of your iPhone and connect your phone’s Bluetooth to the head unit’s Bluetooth. Please note that you only need to connect Bluetooth but not WiFi.

CarPlay is not working:
1. To use wired CarPlay, please use the original data cable and connect it to the USB cable labeled ucarPlay/Android Autou of the head unit.
2. To use wireless CarPlay, please turn on WiFi and Bluetooth of your iPhone and connect your phone’s Bluetooth to the head unit’s Bluetooth. Please note that you only need to connect Bluetooth but not WiFi.
