When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to person.

  • The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

  • The appliance must have a minimum 50cm clearance around all sides of the appliance. Take care that curtains or other objects are not sucked into the fan during operation.

  • Children of less than 3 years and pets should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

  • Do not leave children alone or unattended in the area where the appliance is in use.

  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless continuously supervised.

  • Place the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface and always keep the appliance in an upright position.
    Operating the appliance in any other position could cause a hazard.

  • There may be traces of odor during the first few minutes of initial use. This is normal and will disappear quickly.

  • Do not cover the appliance or restrict the air flow of the inlet or exhaust grills while in use.

  • Do not cover, obstruct or push objects into the vents and opening of the appliance as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage the appliance.

  • Do not use this appliance to dry or heat clothes.

  • Do not use the appliance in high humidity or steam filled rooms.

  • Never place anything on top of the appliance.

  • Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.

  • Do not operate the appliance without the filter.

  • Do not use this appliance near water or in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or a swimming pool. Never place the appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

  • Do not allow water or other liquids to run into the interior of the appliance, as this could create a fire and/or electrical hazard.

  • This appliance is intended for indoor household use and similar applications.
    Do not use outdoors.
    • Never leave the appliance unattended while in use. Always turn the appliance off and disconnected from the power supply when not in use.
    • Do not use the appliance while sleeping or place it near a person who is sleeping.
    • The mains cable should not hang down from the surface on which the appliance is placed in order to prevent the appliance from being pulled down.
    • Avoid placing the power cord in areas where it can become a tripping hazard.
    Do not place the power cord under carpeting or cover it with rugs, runners or similar.
    • To avoid a circuit overload when using this appliance, do not operate another high-wattage appliance on the same electrical circuit.
    • Always plug the appliance directly into a wall socket. Avoid using extension leads where possible as they may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
    • Do not use this appliance with an external programmer, timer switch or any other device which would switch the appliance on automatically unless this has already been pre-built into the appliance by the manufacturer.
    • Do not pull on the power cord. Never move, carry, or hang the appliance by the power cord.
    • Do not kink or wrap the power cord and plug around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken or split, particularly where it enters the appliance.
    • Ensure the mains cable is fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is not in contact with any part of the appliance.
    • Do not operate the appliance with any safety guards removed.
    • Do not operate the appliance if there are signs of damage to the appliance, power cord, or any of the accessories supplied. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified

BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This product is supplied with Button Cell – CR2025 Li-ion disposable batteries.

****BATTERY WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Choking hazard. Do not swallow. Harmful if swallowed. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death.
Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

  • This product only uses a Button Cell – CR2025 Li-ion battery. It is not compatible with other battery types.
  • Do not allow children to handle batteries.
  • If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  • Ensure that the battery is installed with the correct polarity (+ and –).
  • Remove exhausted battery promptly.
  • Always inspect new batteries before use. Damaged or weak batteries may leak acid. Discontinue use if batteries show signs of leakage, damage, or weakness at any time.
  • Ensure the battery compartment is correctly and securely closed after installing the batteries.
  • Wash hands after handling batteries.
  • Disposable batteries are not rechargeable and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Always dispose of batteries at an official collection point and according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before First Use:
Air duct angle adjustments:

  1. Before adjusting the angle of the air duct, ensure the appliance is turned off and unplugged.
  2. Hold the appliance by the main body and tilt the air duct forwards or backwards by a 15-degree angle.

The Led Display:

  1. Filter Replacement Indicator Light

  • Power Button: Press once to turn the appliance on. Hold down for one second to turn the oscillation of the fan on and off. Press repeatedly to adjust the wind speed. Hold down for two seconds to turn off the appliance.

  • Filter Replacement Indicator Light :
    After 720 collective hours of operation, the Filter Replacement Indicator Light will indicate the filter needs to be replaced. Replace the filter following the instructions in the ‘Replacing the Filter’ section of this manual and then hold
    down the power button on the remote for 5 seconds. The Filter Replacement Indicator Light will turn off and the filter lifetime will be reset.

  • Temperature Display: This displays the current temperature.
    Auto

  • Auto Mode: If the appliance is in Auto Mode, this indicator will read ‘AUTO’.

  • Settings and Humidity Display: This indicator will display the current wind speed setting when changing between wind speed settings 1 – 9. Wind speed will be set when there have not been any changes for 5 seconds. The display
    will then show the humidity level of the environment.

REMOTE CONTROL

ATTENTION : THIS APPLIANCE MAY RESPOND TO THE REMOTE CONTROL OF OTHER DEVICES.
OTHER DEVICES MAY RESPOND  TO THE REMOTE CONTROL OFTHIS APPLIANCE. THIS IS DUE TO OVERLAPPING FREQUENCIES. TO AVOID THIS INTERFERENCE, KEEP THE REMOTE CONTROL AWAY FROM OTHER ELECTRICAL DEVICES DURING OPERATION.
ATTENTION : THE POWER BUTTON ON THE REMOTE CONTROL RETURNS THE APPLIANCE TO STANDBY MODE. TO COMPLETELY DISCONNECT AND POWER OFF THE APPLIANCE, UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE SOCKET.

  • Power Button: When the appliance is in Standby Mode, press the power button once to turn it on. To return the product to Standby Mode, touch the power button again.

  • Mode Adjustment Button: Press the Mode Adjustment button to cycle through the options of Sleep Mode, Natural Mode and Maximum Mode.
    Sleep Mode: The LED Display will read ‘LL’. This mode is the quietest as the wind speed is on its lowest setting.
    Natural Mode: The LED Display will read ‘—‘. This mode is for everyday use as the wind speed setting is moderate.
    Maximum Mode: The LED Display will read ‘HH’. This is the maximum wind speed.

  • Oscillation Adjustment Button: Press once to turn on the oscillation function and press again to turn off the oscillation function.

  • Timer Button: Press the Timer Button repeatedly to cycle through the timer settings of 1 – 8 hours. When the time set has elapsed, the appliance will automatically turn off.

  • Auto Mode Button: Press the Auto Mode Button to set the appliance into Auto Mode. The fan speed will adjust itself according to the temperature of the room.

  • Wind Speed Adjustment Buttons:
    Press the ‘+’ button to increase the wind speed and the ‘-‘ button to decrease the wind speed. The appliance has 9 wind speed settings.

SWITCHING ADAPTERS

WARNING : DO NOT HANDLE THE ADAPTER WITH WET HANDS.
ENSURE THE DEVICE IS TURNED OFF AND NOT CONNECTED TO ANY POWER SOURCE BEFORE SWITCHING ADAPTERS.

Note : Always ensure you are using the correct removable panel for your region.
To change the removable panel on your appliance, please follow the below steps:

  1. To remove the current adapter, push down on the removable panel on the section marked ’push’ and slide it out.
  2. To insert the correct adapter, look for the grooves on the adapter and place the removable panel in the grooves.
  3. Push down on the removable panel and slide it into the body of the adapter.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

To replace the battery, follow the below steps:

  1. Push the edge of the battery holding insert inwards, while pushing it upwards.
  2. Pull out the battery holding insert and remove the battery.

CAUTION : IF THE REMOTE CONTROL WILL NOT BE USED FOR A LONG TIME, REMOVE THE BATTERY.
CAUTION : THE BATTERY IS NOT RECHARGEABLE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RECHARGE THE BATTERY.

FILTER REPLACEMENT

  1. Lift off the top cover.
  2. Remove the old filter by pulling it upwards.
  3. Insert the new filter into the main body of the appliance.
  4. Replace the top cover. It is magnetised and will automatically snap into place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING : ALWAYS TURN THE APPLIANCE OFF AND UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE HANDLING OR CLEANING IT.
CAUTION : DO NOT ALLOW WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS TO RUN INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE APPLIANCE, AS THIS COULD CREATE A FIRE AND/ OR ELECTRICAL HAZARD.

CAUTION : DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR SOLVENTS, AS THIS CAN DAMAGE THE APPLIANCE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN THE APPLIANCE IN ANY OTHER WAY THAN THAT DETAILED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
CAUTION : DO NOT USE ANY TOXIC, CORROSIVE, OR ABRASIVE CLEANING AGENTS OR SCOURING SPONGES TO CLEAN THE APPLIANCE OR THE ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED. THESE CAN DAMAGE THE SURFACE. DO NOT SPRAY CLEANING AGENTS DIRECTLY ONTO OR INTO THE APPLIANCE.

  • Product Surface: Clean the exterior surface of the appliance by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Dry the appliance with a soft, clean cloth.
    For extreme dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild, diluted detergent to clean, and then wipe dry with a soft cloth.

  • Air Inlet and Air Outlet: Regularly clean off accumulated dust using a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush. Do not let dust build up, it will reduce the efficiency of the appliance.

  • Remote Control: Gently wipe the surface of the remote control with a soft cloth.
    If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery inside.

  • Adapter: Gently wipe the surface of the adapter with a soft cloth.

  • Filter : To extend the lifespan of the filter, use the brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the surface of the filter.

STORAGE

  • Store the appliance in a safe, clean and dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children when not in use.
  • To store your product, we recommend using the original or a similar sized box.

RECYCLING & DISPOSAL

Waste electrical and electronic products (WEEE), batteries, accumulators, and packaging should not be disposed of with general household waste. This is to prevent possible harm to the environment and human well-being, and to help conserve our natural resources. Most electrical products with a plug, battery, or cable can be recycled.
Contact your local council, household waste disposal service, or the store where you purchased the product for information regarding the collection schemes in your area.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
This symbol on the product and/or packaging indicates that Waste Electrical products (WEEE) under Directive 2012/19/EU which governs used electrical and electronic appliances, should not be disposed of with general household waste.
Waste Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
This symbol on the batteries supplied with your product indicates that Waste Batteries under Directive 2006/66/EC which governs used batteries and accumulators should not be disposed of with general household waste. If the battery contains more than 0.004% lead, the battery symbol will be accompanied by the letters (PB).

•Circuit driver, power component (MOSFET) or other components damaged by outer forces, Electronic board parameter error.
E4| Hardware Overcurrent| •Short circuit of fan rotor or inner rotor.
•Driver error or power component (MOSFET) error.
E5| Software Overcurrent| •Current sampling circuit error.
E6| Rotor disconnection| •Poor connection between rotor and terminal block.
•Driving error of driver.
E7| Communication Error| •Poor communication between display board and mother board, poor cable connection.
E8| Machine Tilting| •Machine placed at an angle of 30
degrees against the surface.
E9| Temperature-sensor probe malfunction| •Temperature sensor probe poor connection.
