Product Usage Instructions

Set-Up:

Open the shipping carton and carefully remove the unit, ensuring all packing materials are removed.
Place the unit on a flat dry surface and unscrew the knob on the top to fill it with ice.
Remove the reservoir cap, fill it with ADJ brand fog juice, and replace the cap.
Insert the water tube into the water bag to collect melted ice.

Operating Instructions:
Upon initial power on or after refilling the fog fluid, allow approximately 3 minutes for warm-up. Follow these steps for operation:

Use the remote control for manual or timer-based operation.
Press the on/off button on the remote to activate the timer function (indicated by a yellow LED).

Unpacking : Thank you for purchasing the Mister Kool EP by Eliminator Lighting. Every device has been thoroughly tested and has been shipped in perfect operating condition. Carefully check the shipping carton for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect your fixture for any damage and be sure all accessories necessary to operate the unit have arrived intact. If damage is found or parts are missing, please contact our toll-free customer support number for further instructions. Do not return this unit to your dealer without first contacting customer support.
Introduction : This unit is designed to produce a ground fog effect to enhance dance floors, entryways, or Halloween effects. A timer remote control is included. Please read the following instructions and safety precautions before attempting installation or using your new device.

WARRANTY

MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY

A. ADJ Products, LLC hereby warrants, to the original purchaser, ADJ Products, LLC products to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a prescribed period from the date of purchase (see specific warranty period on reverse). This warranty shall be valid only if the product is purchased within the United States of America, including possessions and territories. It is the owner’s responsibility to establish the date and place of purchase by acceptable evidence, at the time service is sought.
B. For warranty service you must obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#) before sending back the product–please contact ADJ Products, LLC Service Department at 800-322-6337. Send the pro- duct only to the ADJ Products, LLC factory. All shipping charges must be pre-paid. If the requested repairs or service (including parts replacement) are within the terms of this warranty, ADJ Products, LLC will pay return ship-ping charges only to a designated point within the United States. If the entire instrument is sent, it must be shipped in its original package. No accessories should be shipped with the product. If any accessories are shipped with the product, ADJ Products, LLC shall have no liability whatsoever for loss of or damage to any such accessories, nor for the safe return thereof.
C. This warranty is void if the serial number has been altered or removed; if the product is modified in any manner which ADJ Products, LLC concludes, after inspection, affects the reliability of the product; if the product has been repaired or serviced by anyone other than the ADJ Products, LLC factory unless prior written authorization was issued to purchaser by ADJ Products, LLC; if the product is damaged because not properly maintained as set forth in the instruction manual.
D. This is not a service contract, and this warranty does not include maintenance, cleaning or periodic check-ups. During the period specified above, ADJ Products, LLC will replace defective parts at its expense with new or refurbished parts, and will absorb all expenses for warranty service and repair labor because of defects in material or workmanship. The sole responsibility of ADJ Products, LLC under this warranty shall be limited to the repair of the product, or replacement thereof, including parts, at the sole discretion of ADJ Products, LLC. All products covered by this warranty were manufactured after August 15, 2012, and bear identifying marks to that effect.
E. ADJ Products, LLC reserves the right to make changes in design and/or improvements upon its products without any obligation to include these changes in any products theretofore manufactured.

No warranty, whether expressed or implied, is given or made for any accessory supplied with the products described above. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, all implied warranties made by ADJ Products, LLC in connection with this product, including warranties of merchantability or fitness, are limited in duration to the warranty period set forth above. And no warranties, whether expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness, shall apply to this product after said period has expired. The consumer’s and/or Dealer’s sole remedy shall be such repair or replacement as is expressly provided above; and under no circumstances shall ADJ Products, LLC be liable for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of, or inability to use this product. This warranty is the only written warranty applicable to ADJ Products, LLC Products and supersedes all prior warranties and written descriptions of warranty terms and conditions heretofore published.
MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY PERIODS:

Lighting Products = 1-year (365 days) Limited Warranty (Such as: Special Effect Lighting, Intelligent Lighting, UV lighting, Strobes, Fog Machines, Bubble Machines, Mirror Balls, Par Cans, Trussing, Lighting Stands etc. excluding LED and lamps)
Laser Products = 90-Day Limited Warranty
L.E.D. Products = 2-year (730 days) Limited Warranty (excluding motors, PCB boards, and power sup-plies, which have a 1-year (365 day Limited Warranty) and batteries which have a 180 day limited warranty).

WARRANTY REGISTRATION
The Mister Kool II carries a 1 Year (365 days) limited warranty. Please fill out the enclosed warranty card to validate your purchase. All returned service items, whether under warranty or not, must be freight pre-paid and accompanied by a return authorization (R.A.) number. The R.A. number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package. A brief description of the problem as well as the R.A. number must also be written down on a piece of paper and included in the shipping container. If the unit is under warranty, you must provide a copy of your proof of purchase invoice. All packages returned to the service department not displayed an R.A. number on the outside of the package will be returned to the shipper. You may obtain an R.A. number by contacting our customer support number at 800-322-6337.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

In the event that the unit needs to be returned to ADJ Products, LLC for service, use only the origi-nal packaging and materials for shipping.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.
Do not spill water or other liquids into or onto your device.
Ensure that the fog fluid is contained inside the fluid reservoir only. Do not spill fog fluid into or onto other internal components of the device.
Ensure that the power outlet used matches the device’s required voltage.
Do not remove the cover for any reason. There are no user-serviceable parts inside this device!
Disconnect the unit from the main power when left unused for long periods.
Never connect this device to a dimmer pack.
Do not attempt to operate this unit if it has been damaged in any way.
Never operate this unit with the cover removed.
Do not attempt to operate this unit if the power cord has been frayed or broken.
Do not attempt to remove or break off the ground prong from the electrical cord. This prong is used to reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire in the event of an internal short.
Disconnect from the main power before attempting to make any type of connection.
Never block the ventilation holes, and always be sure to mount this unit in an area that will allow proper ventilation. Allow at least 6” (15cm) clearance between this device and a wall.
This unit is intended for indoor use only, and use of this product outdoors voids all warranties.
Always mount this unit safely and stably.
Please route your power cord out of the path of foot traffic. Power cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them.
The fixture should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
- A. The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged.
- B. Objects have fallen onto, or liquid has been spilled into, the unit.
- C. The unit has been exposed to rain or water.
- D. The unit does not appear to operate normally or exhibit a marked change in performance.

SET UP

Open the shipping carton and carefully remove the unit. Be sure to remove all the packing material, paying particular attention to the area around the nozzle.
Set the machine on a flat dry surface and unscrew the knob on the top of the unit. Open the top of the unit, and fill the inside of the Mister Kool with ice.
Remove the reservoir cap located on the top of the machine.
Fill the Mister Kool II reservoir with ADJ brand fog juice only, then replace the cap.
Insert the water tube into the water bag. When the ice melts, the water will drain into the bag.
Remove the remote control from the carton. Firmly plug the remote control into the remote control socket located on the rear unit.
Plug the unit into a matching power supply and flip the power switch to the on position.
Follow the operating instructions on the next page for proper remote operation.

Always be sure to maintain an adequate supply of ADJ® Brand Fog juice™ in the fluid reservoir. Running the fog machine dry will cause pump failure and or clogging. This is the most common cause of failure in fog machines.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

When first powered on, or when the fog fluid is freshly refilled, the unit will require approximately 3 minutes to warm up. Once the unit has warmed up, follow the directions below for ground fogger operation.

Remote Operation: The remote allows the unit to run manually or by timer. The remote has an “on/off” button that activates the timer function. A yellow LED above the on/off button will illuminate when the timer function is activated.
Continuous: The remote features a red “Continuous” button that triggers continuous output. Fog will continue to emit as long as this button is pushed in. A red LED above this button will illuminate when the continuous operation is active.
Manual: The remote features a green button that allows fog output to be controlled manually. Fog will emit as long as this button is pressed and held, and a green LED above this button will illuminate when the machine is warmed up and ready to emit fog.
Timer: The timer function allows fog to be emitted at designated intervals. To activate the timer function, press the yellow timer button. A yellow LED will illuminate when the timer function is activated. The “duration” knob will control the length of fog burst. The “interval” knob will control the time between bursts. Turning these knobs in a clockwise direction will increase their values while turning them in a counter-clockwise direction will decrease their values.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience low fog output, pump noise, or no fog output at all, disconnect the device from power and discontinue use immediately. Do not continue to push the remote control’s activation button, as this may damage the device. Check fluid level, the external fuse or breaker, and the remote connection, and verify that the wall outlet is sending power. If none of these factors prove to be the cause of the problem, and the unit fails to operate correctly, the unit may require service. Please contact customer support for further instructions. Please do not return the unit to your dealer without contacting customer support first.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Store the device in a cool area, and cover to avoid dust buildup. When storing the machine for long periods, it is highly advised to at least run the machine every 3-4 months. Long periods of inactivity can severely shorten the life of your machine. Only run water-based fog juice through your machine. Never run plain water, vinegar, or any other liquid solution through your machine. Running anything other than water-based fog juice will severely damage your machine.
