Precautions

  1. Before using the product, please confirm whether the Displaylink driver is installed
  2. The product is equipped with a 45W adapter only for powering the product, and does not support directly powering the computer
  3. When transferring multiple hard disk files, it is not recommended to use HDMI to watch video

Displaylink Driver Installation

The dock uses DisplayLink technology to provide universal multi- monitor support for a wide range of computers and operating systems. The latest DisplayLink software should be installed following these steps:

  • Download the DisplayLink driver for your operating system from www.displaylink.com/downloads
  • Run the installer once downloaded and follow the prompts
  • Restart your machine

FAQ

Q: External USB 3.0 Media Card Reader is not detected.

A: Unplug from the power, wait 10 seconds, and then reconnect. Update to the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver

Q: HDCP content is not able to display on the attached monitor

A: HDCP content support is currently not available.

Q: Displaylink Driver not able to install

A: Get the driver by: Download the latest driver from Displaylink website.

Q: Laptop failed to wake up from Ethernet port

A: Check the settings under BIOS Items to make sure laptop supports wake-up- from-Ethernet port function.

Q: Laptop failed to boot with dock connected

A: Remove all USB devices connected to the dock; some unqualified boot devices may cause lock up at boot screen.

Q: USB ports are not functioning on the docking station

A: Unplug from the power, wait 10 seconds, and then reconnect. Update to the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver
