CHRONOGRAPH – L896
A Crown | D Date window |
---|---|
B Hour hand | E Outer disc |
C Minute hand | F Central disc |
Displays the hour, minute, seconds, date and power reserve (in hours).
Power reserve indicator
When the watch is wound manually or automatically, the outer disc E turns
clockwise until the reserve has been fully restored.
If the watch is wound beyond the reserve, discs E and F turn simultaneously
clockwise by the same value.
When the reserve is running low, the central disc F turns clockwise and
indicates the number of hours remaining on disc E.
Setting the time and stop seconds
Pull the crown out to position 3 when the seconds hand is at 60. Turn the
crown either way to the desired time display. As soon as the time is
synchronised, push the crown back into position 1. If you have not been
wearing your mechanical watch, it needs to be wound manually through thirty
revolutions or so.
Avoid any quick date correction between 20:00 and 03:00.
Quick date correction
Pull the crown out to position 2, and then turn it forward to the desired date
display. During this operation, your watch will continue to run; no time
adjustment will be required. The date needs to be corrected after every month
shorter than 31 days. Push the crown back into position 1.
The date will change when the hour hand passes midnight.
