**DOONAILS APPLICATION

**

Step by Step
Preparation
File your nails to your desired shape and gently push back your cuticles.

  1. For optimal adhesion, lightly roughen or mattify your natural nails before applying, using a buffer or the fine side of a nail file.
  2. Make sure to remove any invisible cuticle and skin residue on the nail to prevent lifting.
  3. Before applying, avoid using any oils or creams. Also, avoid washing your hands right before the application.
  4. For the best adhesion, we recommend dehydrating your nails with the Doonails Primer before application.
  5. For the next steps, we suggest wiping the liquid brush of the Base Coat on a paper towel after each stroke to prevent the brush from hardening.

  1. STEP 01
    Base Coat & Base Powder
Start by applying a thin layer of Base Coat to one nail using 3-4 brush strokes. Then, without waiting, gently dip the nail into the Base Powder at a 45-degree angle. After that, give it a tap to shake off the excess powder. Use the fine, black brush to lightly sweep away any leftover powder on the surface.
Keep doing the same for each of your nails.

  2. STEP 02
    Base Coat & Color Powder
Apply another thin layer of Base Coat. Right after, dip your nail at a 45-degree angle into the Color Powder, then lightly brush off any excess. Remember, it’s best to tackle one nail at a time.
For the best coverage, adhesion, and vibrant color, repeat STEP 02.

  3. STEP 03
    Activator Coat
Apply a generous amount of Activator Coat over the entire nail surface, including the edges and the tip. Then, let the Activator Coat dry for at least two minutes.

  4. STEP 04
    Filing & Polishing
Now, using the fine side of a nail file or a buffer, smooth out any bumps or imperfections. Shape and adjust the nails to your desired form and thickness. Make sure to file gently to avoid damaging the surface and prevent any nail injury.

  5. STEP 05
    Activator Coat
Apply another generous layer of Activator Coat, covering the entire nail and its edges. Let it dry for at least two minutes.
Make sure to stick to the suggested waiting times between applying the Top Coat and the Activator Coat.

  6. STEP 06
    Top Coat
Apply a thin layer of Top Coat using 2-3 quick, even brush strokes. Let it dry for at least two minutes.

  7. STEP 07
    Top Coat & Nail Oil
    Repeat STEP 06.
Apply a second thin layer of Top Coat with another 2-3 quick brush strokes.
After about 2-3 minutes, the Top Coat should be dry and smudge-proof.
Finish off by using the Doonails nail and cuticle oil for the best results.

Tipps for you & Your Manicure

  1. The Activator is the key step in the application, as it seals the layers. The second layer of Activator helps the Top Coat bond with the dipping layers, making it dry down super quickly.
  2. Be careful not to get any of the liquid on your cuticles, as that can lead to chipping. Always apply the Base Coat in thin lay-ers and dip straight into the powder. Paint one nail at a time and dip it into the powder before moving on to the next one.
  3. For the best results, make sure to apply everything while having access to good lighting (but not UV light).
  4. After each application, clean the bottle neck thoroughly with a paper towel to prevent the lid from sticking shut.
  5. Store the products at room temperature and keep them away from heat and direct sunlight.

How do I use my Brush Cleaner & Softener?

  • The Brush Cleaner & Softener cleans and removes unwanted stains or residues from your liquid brushes, preventing them from hardening.
  • Just swap out the dirty or sticky brush with the one from the Brush Cleaner & Softener and let it soak overnight.
  • It’s crucial to dry the brushes with a cloth before switching them, to avoid mixing the liquids, as this could harm the function and consistency of the other products.
  • Make sure to clean the brushes of any residue after each use to maintain the quality of the liquids. Our Brush Cleaner & Softener is perfect for this job.

REMOVAL

Step by Step.

  1. Filing off top coat.
To remove the Top Coat, start by lightly filing it with the coarse side of a nail file. The more you file off the Dipping Powder, the quicker the removal will be.

  2. Prepare the remover bowl.
Fill the bottom of the remover bowl halfway with warm water and securely seal it with the transparent lid. Place a cotton ball in each notch of the lid and saturate them well with the remover.

  3. Rub nails on the cotton balls.
Rub your nails against the damp cotton balls for about 10 minutes, gently, until the Dipping Powder layers start to come off. Remove any remaining traces carefully with a manicure stick and a buffer.

Tips & Guidlines for Removal

  1. Acetone reacts with warmth, which is why the Dipping Nails can be removed in just a matter of minutes with the new Re-mover Set Pro. We drew inspiration from the baggie method shared by the community.
  2. For pedicures, we recommend using removal with the remover foils.
