Packing List

After unpacking, please check the appearance sheet metal of the unit, whether the fan blades and evaporator are damaged, and whether the accessories are complete. If there is any problem, please contact the aftersales service for replacement.

Installation Location and Specifications

WARNING

1. The heat pump must be installed outdoors. Do not install it indoor.
2. The unit needs to be kept a certain distance from the surrounding.

If you have to set power supply outside, you must install an outdoor cover with waterproof IPX6 for power plug.
Power Specifications: 120V/60Hz

Please disconnect the water hoses and drain water out to prevent the unit from freezing damage during winter time.

Typical installaton for above ground pool
Note: The heat pump unit needs to be installed on a flat platform, such as a concrete floor, to ensure that the unit operates on a horizontal platform .

Material preparation for above-ground swimming pool installation: In addition to the swimming pool host, the following materials should also be purchased for the installation of the unit;

1. Piping parts: Three or more piping parts need to be purchased respectively. It is recommended to use plastic hose 1-1/2″ (DN40)according to the below diagram. The heat pump unit is installed within 10ft of the swimming pool, the farther away from the swimming pool, the greater the heat loss;
2. The pipe connection needs customer to purchase 6 (DN40) hose clamps, which are respectively installed at each nozzle position;
3. Swimming pool and swimming pool cover; (for dustproof and heat preservation, the effect of adding a swimming pool cover will be better during the heating process.)
4. It is necessary to purchase a swimming pool water pump with hair treatment, the flow rate is ≥12gpm;
5. Other equipment for swimming pools, such as chlorinators, can be purchased as needed;
6. Tools need Phillips screwdriver and pipe wrench.

Typical installaton for in- ground pool
Material preparation for underground swimming pool installation: In addition to the swimming pool host, the following materials should also be purchased for the installation of the unit;

1. Piping parts: PVC 1-1/2″ (DN40) piping parts are required respectively. Refer to the installation diagram 2. The length of the pipe should be selected according to the specific location of the site. It is recommended that the heat pump unit be installed within 10ft of the swimming pool, away from the swimming pool. The farther away, the greater the heat loss;
2. It is necessary to purchase 6 PVC (DN40) joints and 3 valves for the connection of pipeline parts, and the number of additional equipment shall be purchased according to the needs of the site;
3. Swimming pool cover; (for dustproof and heat preservation, it will be better to add a swimming pool cover during the heating process.)
4. It is necessary to purchase a swimming pool water pump with hair treatment, the flow rate is ≥12gpm;
5. Other equipment for the swimming pool, such as chlorinators, filter sand tanks, etc., can be purchased as needed;
6. Tools need Phillips screwdriver and pipe wrench, PVC paste glue.

Installation Steps

1. When the swimming pool heat pump main unit, pipe fittings and supporting materials, water pump materials, and swimming pool are ready, please place them in a reasonable position. The heat pump main unit needs to be installed on a flat platform and cannot be skewed; it is recommended that the heat pump unit be installed within 10ft of the swimming pool. The further away the pool, the greater the heat loss;
2. According to the connection system diagram, connect the pipe fittings and hose clamps in sequence;
3. Add water to the swimming pool. The water volume of the swimming pool should be greater than the water inlet and outlet of the swimming pool. Make sure that the water pump, heat pump host and pipe fittings are filled with water;
4. To turn on the water pump, it is necessary to ensure that the water flow is normal;
5. The swimming pool heat pump plug is connected to the power supply, and the power specification is 120V/60HZ;
6. Press the switch key of the heat pump main unit to start the machine. When the unit is running, there will be a normal sound and the condensed water will be discharged from the bottom hole. The condensed water must be drained;
7. The heat pump unit controller operates as follows:
   • Control panel introduction
   • Power On: Press “ ” to turn on/off the heat pump.
   • Mode switch: Press “ ” to change mode, cooling “ ”, heating “ ” and AUTO “ ” + “ ”.
   • Temperature adjustment: Press “ ”or “ ” directly to adjust the desired water temperature, the data will be saved in 3 seconds.

Fault Codes and Solutions

Error code on the LED controller

2.  Replace the new water temperature sensor.

Piping temperature sensor failure| P3| Piping temperature sensor open circuit or short circuit.| 1.  Check the sensor wiring.

2.  Replace the new piping temperature sensor.

Ambient temperature sensor failure| P5| Ambient temperature sensor open circuit or short circuit.| 1.  Check the sensor wiring.

2.  Replace the new water temperature sensor.

Too low or too high ambient temperature protection| E0| 1. Ambient temperature is out of operating range: 23°F~109.4°F.

2.  Controller failure.

| 1.  Wait the ambient temperature recover the operation range.

2.  Replace the new controller.

Water flow failure| E3| 1.  Insufficient or no water flow.

2.  The wiring for water flow switch is in loose situation.

3.  Malfunction of water flow switch

| 1.  Check the water pump or water piping system.

3.  Replace a new water flow switch

Other malfunctions and solutions (No display on LED wire controller)

Check cable and circuit breaker if it is connected

2.  Heat pump just starts to run.

| 1.  Verify water temperature setting.

2.  Start up heat pump after a few minutes.

between the motor and fan, if necessary, it should be replaced.

2.  Check the location of heat pump unit and eliminate all obstacles to make good air ventilation.

NOTE:

1. Above electrical wiring diagram only for your reference, please subject machine posted the wiring diagram.
2. The swimming pool heat pump must be connected to ground wire well, although the unit heat exchanger is electrically isolated from the rest of the unit. Grounding the unit is still required to protect you against short circuits inside the unit. Bonding is also required.
   Disconnection: A disconnection means (circuit breaker, fused or un-fused switch) should be located within sight of and readily accessible from the unit. This is common practice on commercial and residential heat pumps. It prevents remotely-energizing unattended equipment and permits turning off power at the unit while the unit is being serviced.
