Product Usage Instructions

Measuring Small Target Areas:
The CF-300 is capable of measuring colors of small target areas such as watch dial faces and bands, smartphone parts, eyeglass frames, fasteners, buttons, fountain pens, etc. To measure a small target area, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the spectrophotometer is properly set up on a stable surface.
  2. Turn on the spectrophotometer and allow it to initialize.
  3. Place the small target area in front of the spectrophotometer.
  4. Adjust the distance between the target area and the spectrophotometer to be approximately 1 mm.
  5. Initiate the measurement process using the provided software or controls on the spectrophotometer.
  6. Record or analyze the measurement data as required.

Non-Contact Measurement:
The CF-300 employs an integrating sphere that allows colorimetric measurements to be conducted at a distance of 1 mm from the target object. This non-contact measurement feature is useful when measuring colors of cosmetics such as lipstick or foundation, paints, or other targets that could stain the instrument during contact measurements. To perform a non-contact measurement, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the spectrophotometer is properly set up on a stable surface.
  2. Turn on the spectrophotometer and allow it to initialize.
  3. Place the target object in front of the spectrophotometer.
  4. Adjust the distance between the target object and the spectrophotometer to be approximately 1 mm.
  5. Initiate the measurement process using the provided software or controls on the spectrophotometer.
  6. Record or analyze the measurement data as required.

High-Speed Measurement:
The CF-300 is capable of high-speed measurements, requiring only about 0.1 sec per measurement. It can also perform continuous measurements at a minimum interval of about 0.2 sec, allowing for up to 5 measurements per second. To perform high-speed measurements, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the spectrophotometer is properly set up on a stable surface.
  2. Turn on the spectrophotometer and allow it to initialize.
  3. Place the target object in front of the spectrophotometer.
  4. Initiate the measurement process using the provided software or controls on the spectrophotometer.
  5. Record or analyze the measurement data as required.

FAQ:

  1. Q: Can I purchase a bottom port stand for the CF-300?
A: Yes, a bottom port stand is available for purchase. Please contact a sales office for more information.
  • Capable of measuring small target areas
  • Non-contact measurement
  • High speed and accuracy

Capable of measuring small target areas

  • Capable of measuring targets as small as 0.75×1 mm, the CF-300 can be used to measure the color of watch screws, small parts for smartphones and game consoles, etc.
  • The view pointer makes it easy to identify the measurement area, effectively reducing the likelihood of measurement errors.
  • < Benefits>
    • Measuring colors of small target areas such as watch dial faces and bands, smartphone parts, eyeglass frames, fasteners, buttons, fountain pens, etc.
