Attaching Water Bottle

CAUTION : Always unplug the unit before removing the Water Bottle. Do not touch the water in the reservoir.

  1. Use any standard 16.9-32 fl oz water bottle (not provided) or if desired fill an empty water bottle with clean, cool, tap water. Do not use very cold water, since it may temporarily reduce the mist output. Never fill with hot/warm water or add additives as this could damage the unit and void your warranty.

  2. Remove the cap of the bottle and place the bottle on a flat surface.

  3. Before inserting the water bottle adaptor into the water bottle make sure that the silicone stopper is in the correct position by pushing the plunger up as shown. (See #3 Below)

  4. Hold the bottle by the neck and start inserting the bottle adaptor at an angle.
Note: there are three different levels on the bottle adaptor to fit virtually any size water bottle. (See #4 Below)

  5. Once the first threads are inside the bottle press the adaptor straight down until it touches the bottle seal. (See #5 Below)

  6. Turn the water bottle upside down and check the adaptor for leaks. If any water drips from the outside edge, remove the adaptor and reinsert. Do not place the water bottle on the humidifier if the adaptor is leaking. (See #6 Below)
NOTE: Do not place the water bottle on the humidifier if water is leaking from the sides of the adaptor. However, a small drip from underneath the adaptor is normal.

  7. When placing the water bottle adaptor on the unit, make sure the bottle adaptor notch is in the correct position and the bottle sits level and flushes with the cover.

Operating Instructions

NOTE : Do not operate the humidifier without a full water bottle attached.

  1. ON/OFF – Plug into a Standard (110V) electrical outlet with the supplied power adaptor.
Turn the dial clockwise to increase the level of mist output. To turn the unit off, turn the dial counterclockwise.

  2. Mist Output – Turn the mist dial clockwise from the off position to increase the mist output.
Note : The mist may not appear immediately; allow up to 10 minutes (on the highest setting) for the humidifier base to fill with water.

  3. Low Water – When the water reservoir is out of water a red light will appear around the mist dial to let you know you are out of the water and the automatic safety shut-off will turn the
Ultrasonic Nebulizer OFF. You may hear the fan for a few seconds this is normal.

Storage

  1. Follow all cleaning instructions before storage.
  2. Dry all parts. Never leave water inside the unit for several days.
  3. To prolong the life of the bottle adapter, do not store it inside of bottle.
  4. Preferably store in its original box, in a dry place away from high temperatures.
  5. Follow all cleaning instructions after long periods of storage.

About White Dust

Use of high-mineral content water will cause a white mineral residue to accumulate on room surfaces near the humidifier. The mineral residue appears as “white dust”. The higher the mineral content (the harder your water is), the greater the potential for white dust. The white dust is not caused by a defect in the humidifier but is due only to minerals suspended in the water. If you have hard tap water we recommend using only filtered, distilled, or bottled water to minimize the white dust residue.

Weekly Cleaning & Care

CAUTION: Before cleaning always turn the power off and unplug the unit from outlet.

  • DO NOT use any solvents or aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Keep water away from the Air Outlet. DO NOT tamper with the Water Sensor.
  • Change the water bottle regularly.

Emptying the Water Reservoir
Remove the water bottle and Top Cover from the unit. Pour the water in the water reservoir away from the Air Outlet as shown. This may prevent water from pouring into the Air Outlet which can cause the unit to malfunction.

Main Body Cleaning

  • Gently wipe with a soft damp cloth, do not immerse in water. Never scrape the Ultrasonic
  • Nebulizer with a hard or sharp object.

White Dust Cleaning

  • If mineral deposits of “White Dust” are evident around the Ultrasonic Nebulizer and Water
  • Sensor, clean their surfaces with a soft cloth and a small amount of undiluted white vinegar.
  • If necessary, mix a solution of 50% white vinegar / 50% water and fill the Base with enough solution to cover the Ultrasonic Nebulizer. Allow it to soak for an hour and then use a cotton swab to gently loosen the buildup on the Ultrasonic Nebulizer. Rinse out the unit with clean water and wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Bottle Adaptor Cleaning
Remove the water bottle adaptor from the bottle and rinse thoroughly with tap water, then replace on bottle
