Getting started

Install the battery
Slide the Battery lock (7) on the rear of the unit to the right, then open the battery compartment by pulling the Battery cover (6) downwards.
Insert a 1.5 V battery ( LR03, AAA) into battery compartment. Close the Battery cover (6). Slide the Battery lock (7) back again. -
Connect the earphones or headphones into the Headphone jack (4).

Turn on/off the unit
Turn on : slide the On/Off switch (3) to “I” position.
Turn off : slide the On/Off switch (3) to “O” position. -
Volume control
Increase the volume: rotate the Volume control (1) clockwise to increase the volume to a convenient level.
Decrease the volume: rotate the Vol- ume control (1) counter clockwise to decrease the volume to a convenient level. -
Speech/TV mode
Speech mode: for listening to speech through the microphones, slide the Speech/TV switch (5) to the “M” position.
TV mode : for listening to the TV, connect the BE9022 TV listening kit to the Headphone jack (4), then slide the Speech/TV switch (5) to the “TV” position.
The BE9022 TV listening kit is optional accessory and can be purchased additionally if needed.
