INSTALLATION

  1. Connect the coiled cord to the handset and the telephone base.
  2. Connect the telephone wire to the telephone base and wall jack.

Please pick up the handset and you will hear the dial tone, which means the phone is ready for use. If not, please re-connect the phone line and make sure they are inserted in the correct jack.

Please Note
This phone is powered by the telephone line. It will work after you complete the above 2 steps. No need for any batteries or DC power. It still works when power outage in the house.

OPERATION

RINGER VOLUME HI/LO SWITCH
To control the volume of the Ringer.

SP-PHONE VOLUME HI/LO SWITCH
To control the volume of the hands-free speakerphone.

HANDSET VOLUME HI/LO SWITCH
To control the volume of the handset.

RINGER INDICATOR
LED will flash when a call comes in.

IN USE INDICATOR
LED will be bright when the phone is in use.

RECEIVING A CALL

  1. Pick up the handset or press the “SP-PHONE” button when the phone rings.
  2. When you finish the phone call, put the handset back on the phone base or press the “SP-PHONE” button again.

MAKING A CALL

  1. Pick up the handset or press the “SP-PHONE” button to hear a dialling tone.
  2. Dial the number you want to call.
  3. Hang up the handset or press the “SP-PHONE” button again if you finish the conversation.

LAST NUMBER REDIAL FUNCTION
Pick up the handset or press the “SP-PHONE” button, then press
“REDIAL” button when you hear the dialling tone.

FLASH FUNCTION
If you have subscribed to a call-waiting service, the flash button replaces the hook allowing you to take the next call.

MUSIC ON HOLD

  1. When talking on the phone, press the HOLD button once. The caller will hear the music from your phone set, and your phone set is holding.
  2. To continue the phone call, just pick up the handset or press the SP-PHONE button once again.

TO STORE PHONE NUMBERS FOR SPEED DIAL

  1. With the handset off the hook, press the STORE button and then enter the phone number you want to store.
  2. Press the STORE button and then press the (0-9) button for the number location.
  3. Replace the handset. When you have finished these steps, this phone number will have been stored.

TO SPEED DIAL FROM STORED NUMBER

  1. Pick up the handset (or press the SP-PHONE button)
  2. Press AUTO and press the correct memory location (0-9)

Then the telephone number will be automatically dialed out.

TOLE/PULSE DIAL MODE SELECTABLE

  1. “P” is the pulse dialling
  2. “T” is the dual tone multiple frequency dialling

Please Note : Because most of the switchboard is dual tone multiple frequency dialling. So, please adjust the P/T button on the “T” side. If the phone doesn’t work on the T side, please adjust the P/T button on the “P” side.

WALL MOUNTABLE

When use it as a wall-mounted, put the handset aside, and slide the adjustable hook upwards to remove it from the slot. Rotate the adjustable hook by 180 degrees, then replace the adjustable hook into the slot until it locks into position. The handset will can stay on the phone base.

Remove the filled sponge from the Hanging hole on the bottom of the telephone base. Align the holes with the wall-mounting plate, then slide the telephone base down until it locks securely. Replace the handset in the telephone base.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Telephone connections
The voltage on the network is classified as TNV-3 (Telecommunication Network Voltages, as defined in the standard EN60950). Following a power cut, the call in progress as well as the date and time settings is lost.

  • Do not allow the handset to come into contact with liquids or moisture.
  • Do not open the handset or base unit. This could expose you to high voltages.
  • There is a slight chance that your product could be damaged by an electrical storm. We recommend that you unplug the product from the telephone socket during a storm.
  • Do not use the handset in an explosive hazard area such as where there is gas leaking.
  • It is recommended that this product is not used near intensive care medical pieces of equipment or by persons with pacemakers.
  • This product can interfere with electrical equipment such as answering machines, televisions, radios and computers if placed too close. We recommend that you position the base unit at least one meter from such appliances.
