OPERATING THE CAMERA
Note: If you are not located in the US, or if you intend to use this
product anywhere other than the US, you will need to purchase a converter in
order to use the AC wall plug in
and avoid damaging the product. Because different countries use different
voltages in their electrical wiring, you will need a converter that adapts to
the current in your particular country.
IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION: If
the warranty sticker on your device has been removed or tampered with, your
lifetime warranty will be voided. You may be charged fees or denied a return
should this happen.
POWERING THE DEVICE
- This device is powered by plug-in only. You will need to connect the device’s power cord to a functional outlet in order to operate the device.
HOW TO TURN ON THE CAMERA
- Point the remote control towards the front of the Blu-Ray Player, and press the “A” on the remote (see page 4).
- The camera is now in Standby Mode.
NOTE: If the light doesn’t come on, try many different angles when
pressing the power button and pointing it at the front of the device. Do not
hold down the power button.

HOW TO RECORD CONTINUOUS VIDEO (720P)
- When the camera is in Standby Mode, press the “B” button once quickly (see page 4). The unit will vibrate twice.
- Once the device quits vibrating, it will start recording video.
- To stop the recording, press the “B” button again, and wait three seconds.
The device will save the recording and return to standby mode.
HOW TO RECORD CONTINUOUS VIDEO (1080P)
- While the camera is in standby mode, hold the “C” button for 3 seconds then let go.
- The unit will vibrate three times. When the device stops vibrating, the camera is recording 1080P video.
- To save the video and return to standby mode, quickly press the “C” button, and wait three seconds.
HOW TO TAKE PICTURES
1. When the camera is in Standby Mode, press the “C” button quickly (see page
4). The unit will vibrate, and then take a picture. It then returns to standby
mode.
HOW TO RECORD MOTION DETECTION
- In Standby mode, press the “D” button one time (see page 4). The unit will vibrate 3 times.
- The unit is now in motion detection mode and will begin recording video once motion is detected. NOTE: there will be no indication when the device detects motion – it will simply start recording video.
- To return to standby mode and stop motion detection, press the “D” button again. The unit will vibrate.
SETTING THE DATE/TIME STAMP

Visit http://mgidownloads.com/Date_Time _Set/. Choose “All Bush Baby Stealth” from the device SKU dropdown.

Choose your time zone from the time zone dropdown.

Click Submit.

The appropriate time file will be downloaded to your computer’s downloads folder.

Open your “downloads” folder on your computer.
-
Find the time file that was downloaded. (It should be the most recent download and the name will match what you saw in your browser download notification).

Right-click on the file and choose “Copy”.

Remove the MicroSD Card from the device and plug it into your computer using the card reader (see page 3 to locate the MicroSD card slot on your device).

Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder.
• AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open the folder to view files

• Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk

Open the Removable Disk drive

In the blank area below any existing folder or files (if present), right-click with your mouse and choose “Paste”.

The time file you copied from your “downloads” folder should appear.

Power on the device and do a test recording to confirm the time/date setting succeeded.
MICROSD CARD SLOT
See page 3 to locate the MicroSD card slot on the back of your device.

Gently push the MicroSD Card into the slot. The gold contacts on the card will be inserted first, and they should face the main circuit board. You will feel some spring resistance before the card clicks in to place.
a. Never force the card into the Card Slot under any circumstances. Otherwise, the unit or the MicroSD card itself will be damaged. -
To remove the SD card, gently push the card in so that it clicks. The internal spring tension will eject the card.
MicroSD cards 65GB and above will require special formatting to work. The
device will not function with these cards if they are not properly formatted
beforehand.
Visit www.mgidownloads.com/Software
and download the “guiformat.zip” file. Extract the files and follow the
instructions in the “64GB SD Card Formatting.pdf” document.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Ensure that the BluRayPlayer is off before inserting
the MicroSD card. Otherwise, potential corruption of the card file(s) may
occur.
RETRIEVE THE FILES TO YOUR PC

Remove the MicroSD Card from the device and plug it into your computer using the card reader. See page 4 to locate the MicroSD card slot on your device.

Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder.

AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open folder to view files.

Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk

- Open the Removable Disk drive.

Open the folder.
-
Double-click the file you want to view.
• VLC Player is recommended for watching videos.
TROUBLESHOOTING
THE DEVICE WON’T TURN ON
- Make sure the power cable is securely plugged into a functioning electrical outlet.
THE DEVICE HAS CRASHED
- You need to reset the device by unplugging and plugging in the device.
DEVICE CONTINUALLY RECORDS IN MOTION
MODE
- Motion detection is measured by changing pixels during recording. Any kind of motion including shifting shadows or changing lighting conditions can set off motion detection.
