 BRAKES

The electric brake lever is located on the left-hand side of the handlebar. The electric scooter is also equipped with a foot brake on the rear mudguard. When driving on a slippery road and/or while turning, it is recommended to use the brake with caution, otherwise, you may lose control of the electric scooter and fall off. As with other
vehicles, higher speeds require longer braking distances. Sudden braking on low-grip surfaces could cause an accident.
Be careful and always keep the necessary safety distance from other people and/or vehicles while riding.

RANGE

The maximum range depends on several variables:
Terrain: the range is greater when riding on a smooth surface than when driving on bumpy roads and slopes.
User weight: the heavier the user, the shorter the range.
Temperature: riding the electric scooter in a very cold or very hot environment affects and reduces the range. Speed and riding style: riding smoothly and at a constant speed extends the range. Acceleration and maneuvering significantly reduce the range. A lower speed extends the range.
Maintenance: timely recharging and correct maintenance increase the range.

STORAGE AND CLEANING

Charge the scooter 50% – 60% before storing it out of season or for extended periods. Recharge it to 50% – 60% every 30 days. If not used daily, it is advisable to store the electric scooter at 15-25°C. Do not expose the electric scooter to low (below 0°C) or high (over 45°C) temperatures. Avoid leaving it out of doors, as it is not water-resistant. When the scooter gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth. Before cleaning it, make sure the electric scooter is turned off and cover the charging port to prevent damage to the electronic components. Do not use alcohol, petrol, kerosene or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents. This can damage both the appearance and the internal structure of the electric scooter. Do not use pressurized water jets or running water for cleaning. The electric scooter is not waterproof. Do not expose it to rain or water, or immerse it in water to wash it.

BATTERY (WARNINGS)

Make sure the electric scooter, charger and charging port are dry. When the electric scooter is fully charged, the LED light on the charger changes from red (charging) to green (charging completed). Use only the original charger. Other chargers may damage your device and pose other potential risks. The electric scooter should not be charged for extended periods. Overcharging reduces battery life and may cause other potential risks. Charge the electric scooter in a dry environment away from flammable materials (e.g. materials that could burst into flames), preferably at an internal temperature of 1525°C, but never below 0°C or above +45°C. Do not charge in direct sunlight or near a fire. Do not charge the electric scooter immediately after use. Let the electric scooter cool down for one hour before charging. Never leave the electric scooter unattended while charging. Thermal risk: never connect the charging socket with metal objects. Read the charging and storage sections above to ensure you maintain and handle the battery properly. Keep the electric scooter away from open flames or other heat sources to prevent the battery from overheating. Do not leave the electric scooter exposed to freezing temperatures. Both excessive heat and cold can drain the battery. Avoid completely discharging the battery. It is best to recharge the battery while there is still some charge left. This prolongs the life of the battery. When the charge is too low, it is not possible to drive normally. This may lead to the rider losing control or falling off. Make sure the battery is charged at regular intervals, even if you do not use the electric scooter for an extended period. This prevents damage to the battery caused by low voltage over an extended period.
Battery precautions: The battery is made up of lithium-ion cells and chemical elements that are hazardous to health and the environment. DAILY MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Cleaning and storage: If there are stains on the body of the electric scooter, wipe them off with a damp cloth. If stains persist, put toothpaste on them, brush them with a toothbrush, then wipe them with a damp cloth. If there are scratches on the plastic components, use sandpaper or other abrasive material to remove them. Notes: do not clean the electric scooter with alcohol, petrol, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents, to avoid serious damage. Do not wash the electric scooter with high-pressure water jets. When cleaning, make sure the electric scooter is turned off, the charging cable disconnected and the rubber cap closed, as a water leak could cause an electric shock or other serious problems. When the electric scooter is not in use, store it indoors in a cool, dry place. Do not store it outdoors for an extended period of time. Excessive sunlight, overheating and excessive cold accelerate tire aging and compromise the life of both the electric scooter and the battery.

Battery maintenance:

  1. Do not use batteries of other models or brands, as they may pose a safety risk.
  2. Do not disassemble, crush or puncture the product. Do not touch the battery contacts. Do not dismantle or puncture the outer casing. Avoid letting the product come into contact with water and fire and do not expose it to temperatures above 45°C (including heat sources such as stoves, heaters, and so on). Avoid contact between metal objects and battery terminals to prevent short circuits, physical harm or death.
  3. Water seeping into the battery can cause damage to internal circuits and risk of fire or explosion. If you are not sure if water has infiltrated the battery, discontinue use of the electric scooter immediately and return it to the after-sales service at your dealer for inspection.
  4. Use only the original charger to avoid potential damage or fire.
  5. Improper disposal of used batteries seriously pollutes the environment. Observe the regulations of the country concerned regarding the disposal of batteries, to protect the environment.
  6. After each use, fully recharge the battery to extend its useful life. Do not store the battery in an environment where the temperature is above 45°C or below 0°C (for example, do not leave the electric scooter or battery in a car in direct sunlight for an extended period of time). Do not throw the battery into flames as this could lead to failure, overheating and even a fire. If you do not plan to use the electric scooter for more than 30 days, recharge the battery to 50/60% and store it in a cool, dry place. Remember to recharge it every 60 days to protect it from any damage excluding it from the limited warranty. Always recharge the battery before it runs out to extend its useful life. If the battery is not recharged periodically or if the electric scooter is not recharged after the last use, there is a risk of irreversible damage to the battery. This damage is not covered by the limited warranty. Dismantling the battery is prohibited and qualified personnel should be consulted as this could result in electric shock, short circuits or even major safety incidents.

ATTENTION
Disposing of electrical or electronic devices at the end of their life (applicable in all European Union countries and in other European systems with separate collection systems)

This symbol on the product or packaging indicates that the product should not be considered as normal household waste, but instead taken to an appropriate collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate disposal.
Recycling materials helps to conserve natural resources.
For more detailed information about recycling this product, you can contact the municipal office, the local waste disposal service or the point of sale where the product was purchased.

Specifically, consumers must not dispose of WEEE as municipal waste but dispose of it separa- tely, in two possible ways:

  1. At municipal collection centers (also called eco-stations, recycling points), directly or via the collection services of municipal companies, where available;
  2. At sales outlets selling new electrical and electronic equipment.
Here, very small WEEE (with the longest side less than 25 cm) can be left free of charge, while larger ones can be left on a 1-for-1 basis, i.e. you can leave the old product when you buy a new one with the same function.
In the event of illegal disposal of electrical or electronic equipment, the penalties provided for by current legislation on environmental protection may be applied (Italian legislation; it is necessary to check the regulations in force in the country of use/disposal of the vehicle). If WEEE contains batteries or accumulators, these must be removed and disposed of via speci- fic separate waste collection.

ATTENTION
Disposal of dead batteries (applicable in all European Union countries and in other European systems with separate collection systems)
This symbol on the product or packaging indicates that the battery pack should not be considered normal household waste.
On some types of batteries, this symbol may be used in combination with a chemical symbol. The chemical symbols for mercury (Hg) or lead (Pb) are added if the battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury or 0.004% lead. By ensuring that battery packs are disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and health which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling. Recycling materials will help to conserve natural resources. Where for safety, performance or data protection reasons, products require a fixed connection to an internal battery/cell, this must only be replaced by qualified service personnel. At the end of its life, deliver the product to a collection point suitable for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment: this will ensure that the battery inside is also disposed of correctly. For more detailed information about disposing of the exhausted battery or the product, contact the municipal office, the local waste disposal service or the point of sale where the product was purchased. According to Italian Legislative Decree 49/2014, the product falls within the EEE (electrical and electronic equipment) management of WEEE (separate waste collection).
