AUDIO ENHANCEMENT MIC360 XD Microphone
Product Information
This product is an XD Microphone with remote volume controls. It has a battery and power status indicator, a source selection feature, microphone linking capability, and a charging status indicator. The microphone also has a REC button for starting and stopping recordings (additional camera hardware required) and a PWR button for power on/off and mute control. It comes with a foam cap, foam ball, and a microphone insert clip.

Product Usage Instructions
XD Microphone Linking
- Turn off the microphone.
- Press the Link button on the front of the amplifier, side of the BEAM, or rear of the XD Solo. Look for the blinking Yellow LED.
- On the XD Teacher Microphone, press and hold the REC button, then promptly press and hold the PWR button until the microphone is linked.
- Successful linking will produce a beep through the system, and an additional Green LED will appear on the front of the amplifier and the 4 Teacher Microphone.
XD Microphone Setup
- Insert your fingers between the black foam cap and the blue ball, and rotate the black cap counter-clockwise.
- Lift the black foam cap to reveal the internal microphone holder. Set the cap aside.
- Press and hold the PWR button on the XD Microphone for 3 seconds. The BATT LED will flash and then turn solid green.
- Pinch both sides of the internal XD microphone clip with your thumb and index fingers, and pull outwards to remove it.
- Insert the XD microphone into the XD microphone clip. Connect the included micro-USB and 3.5 mm audio cables for charging and audio passthrough.
- Re-insert the clip with the XD Microphone until a click can be heard.
- Replace the foam cap by inserting it into the hole at the top of the ball and twisting clockwise.
XD Microphone Volume Control
- Press SELECT to choose the desired source to control. An LED will illuminate to indicate the selected source. OWN controls the microphone currently in use, OTHER controls the other linked microphone (if any), and LINE is not used with this system.
- Press the up arrow to increase the level of the selected source or the down arrow to decrease the level.

XD MICROPHONE LINKING
- With the microphone off, press the Link button on the front of the amplifier, side of the BEAM, or rear of the XD Solo (Look for the blinking Yellow LED).
- On XD Teacher Microphone press and hold REC button. Then promptly press and hold PWR until microphone is linked.
- Successful microphone linking will produce a beep through the system, and on the front of the amplifier and the Teacher Microphone you will see an additional Green LED.
INSTALLING THE XD MICROPHONE INTO THE MIC360
- Insert your fingers between the black foam cap and the blue ball, and rotate the black cap counter-clockwise. (Figure 1)
- Lift the black foam cap to reveal the internal microphone holder. Temporarily set the cap aside.
- Press and hold the PWR button on the XD Microphone for 3 seconds. The BATT LED will flash and then turn solid green.
- Use your thumb and index fingers to pinch both sides of the internal XD microphone clip, and pull outwards to remove it. (Figure 2)
- Insert the XD microphone into the XD microphone clip (Figure 3). Once secure, connect the included micro-USB and 3.5 mm audio cables for charging and audio passthrough. (Figure 4)
- Re-insert the clip with the XD Microphone until a click can be heard. (Figure 5)
- Replace the foam cap. Using your fingers, grasp the cap, inserting it into the hole at the top of the ball, and twisting clockwise. (Figure 6)
CHARGING YOUR MIC360
The Mic360® features a charging passthrough cable, allowing you to charge the internal XD Microphone without removing it from the Mic360.
- Charge the microphone at the end of each day by removing the foam cap (see Figure 1 on Page 3), and connecting a micro-USB cable to the plug on the inside of the Mic360.
- After connecting the microphone to the charger, the charge indicator (green) indicates the charging status.
XD MICROPHONE VOLUME CONTROL
- Press SELECT to choose the desired source to control. An LED will illuminate to indicate the selected source. OWN will control the level of the microphone currently in use. OTHER will control the other microphone if a second microphone has been linked. LINE is not used with this system.
- Press the up arrow to increase the level of the selected source or the down arrow to decrease the level.
