AUDIO ENHANCEMENT CA-70 Sentinel System
Product Information
The Sentinel System is a comprehensive audio enhancement system designed to
improve the learning experience in classrooms. It includes various features
such as line inputs, equalizer, ALD line output, speaker connection, PA mute,
microphone controls, and more.
The system requires a 24 Volt DC power input for operation.

Product Usage Instructions
MICROPHONE CONTROLS
- To pair the Teacher Microphone with the XD Receiver:
- Press the XD Link button on the front of the receiver and wait for the blinking Yellow LED.
- Press and hold the REC button on the front of the Teacher Microphone.
- Press and hold the PWR button on the front of the Teacher Microphone.
- To pair an optional Handheld Microphone:
- Press and hold the PWR LINK button on the back of the Student Handheld Microphone using your forefinger.
- Slide the TALK button up into the On position using your thumb.
- Successful pairing will produce an audible beep through the system, and an additional Green LED will appear on the front of the XD Receiver.
- Use your forefinger to press and hold the PWR LINK button on the back of the Student Handheld Microphone
- Press and Hold the PWR button the 3. front of the Teacher Microphone
- Use your thumb to slide the TALK button up into to the On Position
- Successful microphone pairing will produce an audible beep through the system, and on the front of the XD Receiver you will see an additional Green LED
Parts & Connections
Teacher Microphone Volume Control

Press “SELECT” to choose the desired source to control. An LED will illuminate to indicate the selected source. “OWN” will control the level of the microphone currently in use.
“OTHER” will control the other microphone if a second microphone has been paired.
“LINE” is not used with this system. -
Press the up arrow to increase the level of the selected source or the down arrow to decrease the level.
Charging Your Microphone
- Charge microphone at the end of each day.
- Connect the micro-USB plug of the charger to the DC input terminal of the microphone. After connecting the microphone to the charger, the charge indicator (red) indicates the charging status.
- When the charge indicator stops blinking, the microphone is fully charged. If the charge indicator is blinking rapidly it means that the micro-USB isn’t fully inserted.
