    • Never leave children unattended when handling the device! Follow the instructions carefully and do not at-tempt to power this device with anything other than power sources recommended in this instruction manual, otherwise there is a danger of an electric shock!

    • Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Use only the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device or batteries, or throw them into a fire! Ex-cessive heat or improper handling could trigger a short-circuit, a fire or an explosion!

  • Improper handling may result in damage to the unit and/or accessories. Therefore, use the device only in accordance with the following safety information.
    • Do not disassemble the device! In the event of a defect, please contact your dealer. They will contact the Service Center and can arrange the return of this device for re-pair if necessary.
    • Do not immerse the unit in water!
    • Do not expose the device to impacts, vibrations, dust, constant high temperatures or excessive humidity. This can result in malfunctions, short-circuits or damage to the batteries and components.
    • Use only the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or empty batteries with a new, complete set of batteries at full capacity. Do not use batteries from dif-ferent brands or types or with different capacities. Remove batteries from the device if it is not to be used for a longer period of time!
  • NOTICE
    Risk of voltage damage!
    The manufacturer is not liable for damage related to im-properly installed batteries!

Setting up power supply

Base unit

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the batteries are correctly aligned (+/- poles).
  3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Wireless sensor

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the batteries are correctly aligned (+/- poles).

    NOTICE! This weather station is designed for operation with only one sensor! The channel selector switch must therefore always be in the ‘1’ position.

Automatic time setting

  • After the power supply was established, the clock will automatically search for the radio signal. This will take approximately 3 to 8 minutes to finish this process.
  • If the radio signal is received correctly, the date and time will be set automatically and the radio control signal icon turns on.

If the clock fails to receive the time signal, go ahead with the following steps:

  1. Press and hold the UP button for 2 seconds to re-initialize RC signal receiving.
  2. Is the device still not receiving the signal, the time must be set manually.

Manual time setting

  1. Press the SET button for approx. 3 seconds to enter the time setting mode.
  2. Digits to be set are flashing.
  3. Press UP or DOWN button to change the value.
  4. Press the SET button to confirm and switch to the next setting.
  5. Order of settings: Time zone (-12 to +12 hours) > Year > Month > Day > Month (M) and Day (D)/Day (D) and Month (M) > 12/24 hour mode > Hours > Minutes
  6. Finally, press the SET button to save the settings and exit setting mode.

Time zone setting
The time zone is set as part of the manual time setting. Further information can also be found in the chapter “Manual Time Adjustment”.

  1. Press the SET button for approx. 3 seconds to enter the time setting mode.
  2. Possibly press the SET button several times until the display shows the setting for the time zone (the factory setting is ’00’).
  3. Press UP or DOWN button to select the desired time deviation in hours (-12 to +12 hours).
  4. Finally, press SET button for approx. 3 seconds to con-firm the set time deviation.

Receiving measurements automatically
Once batteries are installed, the base station will display the measurement readings. Readings from the remote sensor will be displayed within 3 minutes after powering it on.
If no signal will be received, then go ahead with the following steps:

  1. Press SYNC button for approx. 2 seconds to re-initiate reception of measurements again.
  2. If the device is still not receiving the signal: Press and hold the DOWN button for approx. 2 seconds to initiate reception of measurements again.

Weather trend
The weather station will calculate a weather trend for the next 12-24 hours on basis of the measured values.

  1. Sunny
  2. Partly cloudy

Trend arrow indicators

  1. Rising
  2. Stable
  3. Falling
  • The temperature trend indicator shows the trends of weather change for the coming minutes. Arrows indicate a rising, stable or falling trend.
  • The barometer measures the air pressure every 15 minutes. Based on this measurement, the main unit calculates the air pressure for the current hour (the average air pressure of now / 15 minutes ago / 30 minutes ago / as well as 45 minutes ago) and compares this value with the value of the previous hour. If the measured air pressure has changed by more than 1 hPa, an increasing (UP) or decreasing (DOWN) trend arrow is displayed.

Ice pre-alert

  1. When the outdoor temperature hits 3° C (37 ° F), the ice pre-alert symbol will appear on the display, flashing continuously.
  2. The ice pre-alert symbol   will disappear as soon as the temperature rises above 3° C.

Disposal

  • Dispose of the packaging materials according to its type. Information on proper disposal can be obtained from the municipal waste disposal service provider or environmental agency.

  • Do not dispose of electronic devices in the household garbage!
    According to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its transposition into national law, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally sound manner.

  • Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators and can return them after use either at our sales outlet or in the immediate vicinity (e.g. in the trade or in municipal collection points) free of charge.

  • Batteries and accumulators are marked with a crossed-out dustbin and the chemical symbol of the pollutant, “Cd” stands for cadmium, “Hg” stands for mercury and “Pb” stands for lead.
