Product Usage Instructions

1Charging the Bluetooth headset

  1. Connect the USB cable to the charging socket on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to either the AC Charger and plug it into a wall (A/C) outlet or to a computer’s USB port.
  3. The RED LED indicator light turns on.
  4. The RED LED indicator light shuts off when the headset is 60% charged. To fully charge the headset, 12 hours of charging is required

Pairing the headset with a Bluetooth-enabled phone

  1. Ensure that your Bluetooth Headset and mobile phone are within 3 feet of each other during pairing.
  2. Make sure the Bluetooth Headset is turned off.
  3. Press and hold the [POWER] button until the RED and BLUE lights flash alternately.
  4. Set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices.
  5. When the phone finds the headset, confirm by selecting “EM227” from the list.
  6. Enter passcode 0000 when prompted by the phone.
  7. If the pairing was successful, the indicator light flashes a low steady blue. You are now ready to make and receive calls.

Using your Bluetooth headset

  • Powering ON/OFF: To turn ON, press and hold the [POWER] button until the BLUE LED indicator light turns on. To turn OFF, press and hold the [POWER] button until the indicator light turns red and shuts off.
  • Answering/Ending a Call: To answer a call, press the [POWER] button once. To end a call, press the [POWER] button once.
  • Making a call: Dial the number and press the send button from your phone, the call is automatically transferred to the headset.
  • Adjusting volume: Press the [VOLUME DOWN] or [VOLUME UP] button to adjust the volume to the desired level.

Q: How long should I charge the Bluetooth headset for the first time?
A: It is recommended to charge the headset for 12 hours before using it for the first time.

Q: Can I use the Bluetooth headset while driving?

Charging the Bluetooth headset

Using your Bluetooth headset

Powering ON/OFF

  • To turn ON, press and hold the [POWER] button until the BLUE LED indicator light turns on.
  • To turn OFF, press and hold the [POWER] button until the indicator light turns red, and shuts off.

Answering/Ending a call

  • To answer a call, press the [POWER] button once.
  • To end a call, press the [POWER] button once.

To make a call
Dial the number and press the send button from your phone, the call is automatically transferred to the headset.

Adjusting volume
Press the [VOLUME DOWN] or [VOLUME UP] button to adjust the volume to the desired level.

Redialing the last number called (Dependent on your phone supports this feature)
Press and hold the [VOLUME UP] button.

Voice dial (Dependent on your phone supports this feature)
Press and hold the [POWER] button until you hear the confirmation tone, and then say a name from your phone’s contact list.

Product Maintenance

  • Power off this product when not in use.
  • DO NOT expose this product to water or other liquids.
  • DO NOT use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the Bluetooth Headset.
  • If you will not use the Bluetooth Headset for long periods, be sure to store it in a dry place, free from extreme temperature, humidity and dust.

Warranty information

90-Day Limited Warranty
In the unlikely event that this product is defective, or does not perform properly , you may within ninety (90) days from your original date of purchase return it to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.

TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

  • Provide proof of the date of purchase within the package (Dated bill of sale).
  • Prepay all shipping costs to the authorized service center, and remember to insure your return.
  • Include a return shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), a telephone contact number, and the defective unit within the package.
  • Describe the defect or reason you are returning the product.

Your product will be repaired or replaced, at our option, for the same or similar model of equal value if examination by the service center determines this product is defective. Products received damaged as a result of shipping will require you to file a claim with the carrier.

Warranty service not provided
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, and unauthorized modification. This warranty is voided in the event any unauthorized person opens, alters or repairs this product. All products being returned to the authorized service center for repair must be suitably packaged.
