After immunity time all the alarm protections will be ready to produce an alarm trigger and the LED will flash slowly.

ARMING BY THE CARD B9.5 BUTTON (OPTIONAL)

Press briefly the CARD B9.5 button close to the vehicle. Releasing button the alarm unit will arming and it will be signaled by 2 BEEP sounds, 2 flashes of direction indicators and a quick flashing of the LED to indicate start of immunity  time during that is possible check all the pro tection without triggering an alarm sounding (see chapter “6. IMMUNITY TIME”). After immu nity time all the alarm protections will be ready to produce an alarm trigger and the LED will flash slowly.

ARMING WITHOUT ACTIVATING THE INTERNAL MOVEMENT SENSOR

The disarming of the sensor can be obtained by using the specific function in the APP menu or by press hold the CARD B9.5 button (if paired) for 6 seconds close to the vehicle. Once ac tivated by app or by releasing button on the CARD  B9.5 the alarm unit will arming and it will be signaled by 2 BEEP+1BEEP sounds, 2+1 flashes of direction indi cators and a quick flashing of the LED to indicate start of immunity time during that is possi ble check all the protection without triggering an alarm sounding (see chapter “6. IMMUNITY TIME”). After immunity time all the alarm protections will be ready to produce an alarm trigger and the LED will flash slowly.

IMMUNITY TIME

During the first 26 seconds after the alarm arming, the LED flashing quickly to indicate that it is possible to test the protection functions of the system.
Every alarm triggers doesn’t produce an alarm sounding but just a BEEP sounds by the siren and the reset of initial immunity time that restarts again.
When immunity time is over, the LED flashes normally and every alarm triggers will produce an alarm sounding.

ACTIVE PHASE

This is when the alarm system is armed and after the initial immunity phase is over.
Any alarm triggers will produce an alarm cycle that lasts 26 seconds: the direction indicators flash, the siren emits a distinctive modulated sound, and it will be impossible to start the en gine.

PROTECTION BY THE ALARM SYSTEM

The alarm central unit protects the motorcycle against being started and an alarm cycle will be triggered every time:

  • The ignition key is turned ON
  • An attempt is made to remove or move any part of the motorcycle which is protected by specific switches (for example if the seat or the storage compartment is opened…)
  • The motorcycle is moved
  • The alarm system’s supply cables are disconnected or cut or if the motorcycle’s battery is disconnected.

DISARMING

Coming back to the vehicle with Smartphone APP or with CARD B9.5 ( optional) the alarm unit recognize the Id Tag and turns off the LED to indicate that is ready to be disarmed turning ON the vehicle instrument panel. Turning ON the vehicle instrument panel the disarming is signaled by a 1 BEEP sound and 1 flash of the direction indicators.
If the siren also emits a BOOP sound, this means that the alarm system was triggered.
To find out how the alarm was triggered, consult the “10. ALARM MEMORY” table.
If visual and acoustic signals are given during arming or disarming that are different to those described above, consult the chapter “11. NOTIFICATION” to find out what they mean.

ALARM MEMORY

If various alarms have been triggered during your absence the ALARM MEMORY will signal them on the LED emitting a sequences of flashing with 3 seconds pauses between the sequen ces and will repeat the series of sequences every 6 seconds.
The ALARM MEMORY is reset when the alarm system is armed with Smartphone APP or the CARD B9.5 (optional) again or when the vehicle instrument panel is ON but the alarms memo ry stay available for 1 minute also after  instrument panel activation.

BUZZER ARMING/DISARMING DISABLE

To deactivate the Arming/Disarming Buzzer, it is necessary to contact an installation center equipped with the PRG007 Programmer or use the smartphone App.

SERVICE MODE

SYSTEM TO PREVENT VEHICLE BATTERY DISCHARGE

This product has one timed operation to protect the vehicle battery (STOP MODE) and an additional system to fast shut off if the battery voltage level goes down than 10,5V.

STOP MODE

The alarm system automatically switches off in order to limit the consumption of current in the motorcycle’s battery, automatically excluding the alarm functions but maintaining the immo bilization of the engine: in this condition current consumption is nil.
STOP MODE is activated 5 days after the system was armed last time if no alarms were triggered in this time or if the motorcycle’s battery is almost flat (battery voltage level under 10,5V).
To exit from STOP MODE, please select the specific function on mobile APP or turn the igni tion key ON: the siren will emit a series of BEEP sounds; Press the CARD B9.5 button (optional) within 20 seconds to disarm the alarm system. If the CARD B9.5 is not paried or its button is not pressed within 20 seconds, an alarm cycle for ignition key sen sing will be triggered.

‘OVERRIDE’ EMERGENCY CODE (PIN CODE)

If the Smartphone or the CARD B9.5 (optional) is lost, stolen or damaged, it is possible to disarm the alarm system with a 5 digit emergency code called the ‘OVERRIDE’ CODE and this code is found on the label applied on the alarm central unit body and is isn’t changeable.
Remove the label from the alarm unit body and keep it with you to be used if you needs it; keep the ‘OVERRIDE’ CODE in a safe place and not with the motorcycle.
The procedure is operational only after the initial immunity phase is over, and if the alarm fun ctions are operational, alarm cycles will be triggered while the override code is inserted.
Perform the following procedure.
With armed alarm system activate the instrument panel and immediately deactivate it; the LED will turn ON, turn off and then start to flash after 2 seconds.META SYSTEM DEFCOM 3.2B MotorCycle Alarm -
