This product is an RC model aircraft and belongs to the hazardous commodity, thus it must be kept away from the crowd when flying. Issues such as improper assembly, damage to parts, defective electronic control equipment, and unskilled maneuvering may result in unexpected accidents such as loss of control and damage to the flight. Therefore, the operator should pay attention to flight safety and be aware of his/her responsibility for any accidents caused by negligence.
This product is intended to fly outdoors and in wind force less than Level 4. The flight should be in an outdoor area without obstacles, and stay at an appropriate distance from crowds or animals. Do not operate in any dangerous conditions, such as close to the heat source, electric wires, power supply, etc. These conditions may cause fire, electric shock, and other risks such as collision of RC aircraft, forced landing, or intertwisting, thus resulting in loss of life and property.
Always protect the RC aircraft from moisture or water vapor as it has many precision electronic components inside. Do not use the aircraft in the bathroom or rainy days; otherwise, unexpected accidents may occur due to malfunctions of the fuselage and electronic components caused by water vapor inside the aircraft.
Do not arbitrarily disassemble, modify, or process this product. For any upgrades, modifications, or repairs, use parts in the product catalog to ensure structural safety. Confirm that the product is operated within the required limits; do not overload the product; and do not apply the product for any illegal purpose other than for safety and legal purposes.
When installing the battery, confirm the positive and negative poles and do not mix new and old batteries at the same time in case it affects the battery life. If the product is not operated for a long time, remove the battery to avoid battery leakage and malfunction. Do not reuse the batteries if they are leaking. Recycle waste appliances following the waste disposal laws of local countries or regions, and do not dispose of them freely to avoid environmental pollution.
Read and comply with the following precautions before using this battery, as lithium batteries are more dangerous than other batteries. Our company will not be responsible for any damage caused by improper use.
- Do not charge with a charger other than the original one to prevent an explosion or fire.
- Do not impact, disassemble, reverse the positive and negative terminals, or burn the battery to avoid short circuit caused by metal objects contacting the positive and negative terminals. Prevent sharp objects from piercing the battery; otherwise, battery fire may occur.
- To avoid accidents during charging, keep the battery far away from young children and keep an eye on it.
- Do not charge the battery if it is hot after use. Otherwise, it will cause expansion deformation, explosion, or even fire, thus resulting in loss of life and property.
- Recycle waste battery following the waste disposal laws of local countries or regions; otherwise, it may cause environmental pollution.)
THIS PRODUCT IS RECOMMENDED FOR OPERATORS OVER 14 YEARS OLD. THE RC GLIDER IS DIFFICULT TO LEARN AT THE EARLY STAGE. OPERATORS CAN FLY ONLY AFTER SKILLFULLY OPERATING THE MODEL GLIDER ON THE SIMULATOR.
Installation procedure
Horizontal tail and vertical tail
- A. Insert the locating pin below the vertical tail into the locating hole of the horizontal tail.
- B. Insert the horizontal tail and vertical tail into the locating hole of the fuselage.
- C. Flip the fuselage over, lock the vertical tail in place with screws, and connect the fuselage wire fittings to the horizontal tail and the vertical tail.
- D. Insert the tail landing gear back in until the wire snaps into the slot.
Installation of wings
- A. Turn the fuselage upside down to expose the circuit board inside, and insert the two connecting wires of the wing servo into their female sockets, respectively.
- B. Insert the front bulge of the wing into the fuselage recess, straighten out the wires and lines, and gently press the back half of the wing until it fits tightly.
- C. Lock the wing to the fuselage with the screws.
Installation of landing gear
Snap the landing gears on the left and right sides of the wing into the
grooves underneath the wing and press down until the wire snaps into the slot.
Note: Tilt slightly forward to install the landing gear.
Installation of gun (optional)
Align the missile protrusion with the groove below the wing and press it in.
Installation of propeller
Unscrew the nut on the brush-less motor, install the propeller, and tighten
the nut again.
The aircraft is fully assembled.
Usage of the charger
-
Insert the battery into the USB charging port and plug the USB into the charging socket.
Then the red light is on and the green light flashes slowly. -
When the battery is fully charged, the red light is off and the green light is on.
Warnings:
- Charge under supervision for safety.
- Children should not charge alone unless assisted by an adult.
- Do not charge with a charger other than the original one to prevent an expiosion or fire.
Flight preparation
- Open the RC, check, and confirm the throttle lever is in the bottom position and the other levers are in the middle position.
- Open the battery cover and connect the battery connector to the interface inside the battery cover as shown in Figure B.
- After connecting the battery, put the battery into the battery slot and cover the battery as shown in Figure C. After the gyroscope finishes the self-test, you can operate to fly.
Flight pre-adjustment
- Open the RC and lay the aircraft on flat and clean ground. Connect the power battery and then cover it. Before running the motors (the gyroscope is not working at this time), check whether the control surfaces are in the center position and the direction of deflection is correct, then check whether the motor is running steadily or not.
- The wire can be shortened by rotating it to the right and lengthened by rotating it to the left.
- Check whether the center of gravity of the aircraft is within a proper range:The center of gravity of the aircraft should be within 25mm-35mm from the front edge of the wing.
Frequency pairing
- Open the canopy and connect the battery with the receiver. If the method is correct, a prompt tone will sound.
- Lay the aircraft flat, and press the RC switch button. (The RC ticks once), the red light is on, and the blue light flashes.
- Push the throttle to maximum and pull it back to minimum. (At this time, the RC ticks twice), the blue light remains on, and the frequency pairing is completed. Then, install the aircraft battery cover back.
Note: When in frequency pairing, no working RC of the same type and frequency is allowed in the surroundings; otherwise, it may cause pairing failure.
MM/3D/6G conversion
- The three positions on the right side of the RC are the changeover switches for flight attitudes.
- One tick indicates MM mode. In this mode, the gyroscope does not operate in the flight, so it is only recommended for professional flight training.
- Two ticks indicate 6G mode. This mode is recommended for beginners, and the gyroscope will augment artificial stability and make flying easier. In this mode, the aircraft can only fly level and cannot do any aerobatic maneuver, including horizontal roll, inverted flight, sideward flight, half-loop roll, etc.
- Three ticks indicate the 3D mode. This mode is assisted by the gyroscope, and basic maneuvers can be performed in this mode. Press the corresponding button on the RC to perform a maneuver as follows: Upper left A: left horizontal roll; upper right B: right horizontal roll; Lower left C: half-loop roll with one button; and Lower right D: level flight with one button.
Note: A: The gyroscope will be activated after the brush-less motor turns
on.
B: an aerobatic show with one button can be performed only when the aircraft
reaches a certain altitude.
BEGINNERS SOUND OPERATE IN 6G MODE TO MINIMIZE THE RISK OF CRASHING.
Ground takeoff
- Place the aircraft on the ground facing the wind and check again whether each control surface is centered and in the correct direction.
- After confirmation of the above steps, gently push the throttle lever and gently pull the elevator lever until the aircraft is off the around.
Takeoff by throw
Throw the aircraft vigorously at an angle of 5° against the wind, with the
motor on full power, as shown in the figure below.
(Note: When the aircraft takes off in 6G mode, it will fly in ascending
attitude for about 5 seconds and then level off automatically if it is thrown
correctly. As the aircraft has an attitude correction function, it is
recommended not to pull down the elevator lever at this stage if the aircraft
does not tend to lower its nose, otherwise, the aircraft will tend to lower in
the opposite direction.)
Function
landing
When the aircraft is flying, if the RC alarms (red light flashing) and the
aircraft appears to be under-powered, land it immediately. First, operate the
aircraft to fly to the downwind area, then adjust the nose to face the wind.
Pull the throttle down to lower the flight speed. The aircraft will slowly
glide down until it touches the ground. Then pull the throttle down to the
lowest level. Adjust the flight attitude to keep it steady during the glide.
End of flight
Remove the batteries from the aircraft at the end of the flight.
Do form good habits to prevent any danger.
Warnings:
If the battery is not removed, it will be damaged by over-discharge and even
catch a fire.
NOTICE
During the descent, if the course deviates, correct the rudder. If the wind is too strong, control the distance of the aircraft in the downwind area to prevent any unnecessary damage caused by the high wind. If the aircraft battery is low, prepare for landing in time. Do not exhaust the battery completely but keep a certain amount of power for re-flying in case of improper landing.
