Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Power Up
- Insert AA batteries into the designated slots.
- Step 2: Mounting Basics
- Mount the weather station on a wall or place it on a flat surface.
- Step 3: Set Time, Date, etc.
- Hold the TIME / DATE button for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu.
- Press and release the ARROW buttons to adjust the flashing values. Hold to adjust quickly.
- Press and release the TIME / DATE button to confirm and move to the next item.

- Setting and activating time alarms are separate actions.

- Snooze
- To snooze the alarm, press the SNOOZE button when the alarm sounds.
- Set Temperature Alerts
- Tip: Setting the alerts is one step. Arming the alerts is a separate step (see below)
- Hold the TEMP ALERTS button until the station beeps.
- The temperature alert value will blink in set mode.
- Press the or buttons to adjust the values.
- Press the TEMP ALERTS button to confirm & move to the next alert.
- Arm/Disarm Temperature Alerts
- Press and release the TEMP ALERTS button to confirm and move to the outdoor LO, indoor HI, and indoor LO alerts.
FAQs
- Q: How do I position the outdoor sensor?
- A: Follow the instructions provided in the “Position Outdoor Sensor” section on page 8 of the user manual.
- Q: How do I restart the weather station?
- A: Press the RESTART button located on the back of the weather station.
Power Up
- STEP 1: Power Up
- Insert batteries (in any order):
- 2-AA batteries into thermo-hygro sensor (TX141TH-Bv2)
- 2-AA batteries in your station
- STEP 2: Mounting Basics
- Wait until your sensor information should be displayed on your station.
- Here are a few quick tips for mounting your sensor:
- Keep out of direct sunlight & ensure the sensor is well-ventilated.
- We recommend mounting under a deck or eave facing north.
- Insert the mounting screw through the front of the sensor and into the wall.
- Tighten the screw to snug (do not over-tighten).
- Be sure the outdoor sensor is mounted vertically to drain moisture.
- The maximum wireless transmission range is over 300 feet (91 meters) in open air, not including walls or floors.
- STEP 3: Set Time, Date, etc.
- You can manually adjust your station’s settings:
- Hold the TIME / DATE button for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu.
- Press and release the ARROW buttons to adjust the flashing values. Hold to adjust quickly.
- Press and release the TIME / DATE button to confirm and move to the next item.

Note: The weekday will be set automatically as the year, month, and date
are set.
To begin: Hold the TIME / DATE button for 2 seconds, then release, it to
enter the settings menu. Use the ARROW buttons to adjust values. Press the
TIME SET button to confirm and move to the next item.

Alarm Time
Setting and activating time alarms are separate actions.
- Hold the TIME ALARM button to enter alarm set mode.
- Press the ▼ or ▲ buttons to adjust the values.
- Press the TIME ALARM button to confirm & move to the next item.

Activate/Deactivate Alarm
- Press the TIME ALARM button once to view alarm time.
- Press the TIME ALARM button again to activate the alarm. Once activated, the bell icon appears.
- Press the TIME ALARM button again to deactivate the alarm. The bell icon will disappear.
Snooze
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to silence the alarm for 10 minutes.
- The alarm bell icon will flash.
- In snooze mode, press any button except TIME ALARM to stop the alarm for one day.
- Note: The alarm is crescendo sound. The alarm sounds for two minutes and then shuts off completely.
Set Temperature Alerts
Tip: Setting the alerts is one step. Arming the alerts is a separate step (see below)
- Hold the TEMP ALERTS button until the station beeps.
- The temperature alert value will blink in set mode.
- Press the ▼ or ▲ buttons to adjust the values.
- Press the TEMP ALERTS button to confirm & move to the next alert.

Arm/Disarm Temperature Alerts
- Press and release the TEMP ALERTS button so the outdoor HI alert temperature shows and the word HI flashes.
- Press UP ARROW to arm alert
- Press DOWN ARROW to disarm alert
- Press and release the TEMP ALERTS button to confirm and move to the outdoor LO, indoor HI and indoor LO alerts.
- A bell appears above and is alert when armed.
- If no alerts are active, OFF will show.
- OUTDOOR HI & LO ALERTS ARMED
- ALL ALERTS DISARMED
MIN/MAX Temperature Records
All MIN/MAX temperature/humidity records will reset automatically at midnight.
- Press and release the DOWN ARROW to view indoor/remote minimum readings.
- Press and release the UP ARROW to view indoor/remote maximum readings.
Temperature/Humidity Trend Arrows
- The temperature (2°F / 1°C) trend indicators update every 30 minutes.
- The humidity (3% RH) trend indicators update every 30 minutes or less.
- 3 hrs. increments which change every ½ hour e.g.: At 3:00 — compares to noon data; at 3:30 — compares to 12:30, etc.
- Rising: The trend has been rising over the past 3 hours
- Steady: No change
- Falling: The trend is falling over the past 3 hours.
Heat Index | Dew Point
- Press the HEAT/DEW button once to view the remote Heat Index.
- Press the HEAT/DEW button twice to view the remote Dew Point.
Moon Phase
The moon phase is based on the lunar calendar, and the time and date are set on the weather station.
Sensor Search
- Hold the HEAT/DEW button for 3 seconds to search for the outdoor temperature/humidity sensor.
- The strength signal icon will animate until the sensor signal is received, or for 3 minutes if no signal is available.
Position Outdoor Sensor
- Mount the outdoor sensor on a north-facing wall or in any well-shaded area. Under an eave or deck rail is preferred.
- The maximum transmitting range to the weather station is over 300 feet (91 meters) in open air, not including walls.
- Position the sensor vertically to allow moisture to drain.
Low Battery
- Battery by Outdoor Temperature, replace batteries in the sensor.
- Battery by Indoor Temperature, replace batteries in the weather station.
Restart
When the outdoor readings show dashes:
- Bring the sensor into the house at least five feet from the station.
- Remove batteries from the sensor, and the station.
- Press any button 20 times.
- After 15 minutes insert batteries into the sensor and the station.
- Wait 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. Place the sensor outside in a shaded location.

Care and Maintenance
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Standard, Lithium, or Rechargeable Batteries.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device before battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Remove batteries from equipment when it is not used for an extended period.
- Promptly remove expired batteries.
