Overview
Welcome to the TG001 Techview Glasses, smart glasses that help deliver remote assistance for all of your projects. The glasses come fully assembled and include a camera that can gather audio and video data. The camera has a USB-C port for data transfer. The TG-Box, included in the box, features a built-in app, a touch screen, and a USB-C port.
Note: The user interface of the app may vary slightly due to updates. Please refer to the actual product. The frame and lenses of the glasses are magnetically fitted and can be separated. The included cable has USB-C connectors on both ends and is used to connect the camera and the TG-Box.
The clip or wristband can be mounted on the back of the TG-Box, allowing you to hang it on your belt or wrist for hands-free work.
Assembling
Before using the TG001 Techview Glasses, you need to assemble the components.

Install the clip or the wristband

To mount the clip, align the clip’s base with the slot on the back of the TG-Box and then insert the clip’s base into the slot.
To remove the clip, press down on one end of the clip to lift up the other end. Then pull up on the raised part of the base and take the clip out of the slot. -
To mount the wristband, insert the base into the hole on the back of the TG-Box. Then turn the base 90 degrees clockwise. To remove the wristband, lift and turn the base 90 degrees counterclockwise. After that, you can separate the wristband and the TG-Box.

Connect the camera and the frame:

Align the slot on the camera with the knob on the right temple of the frame, with the slot above the knob. Push down the slot to slide the knob into it.

Connect the camera and the TG-Box:

Remove the cover of the USB-C port on the top of the TG-Box and insert one end of the cable into the port.

Insert the other end of the cable into the USB-C port on the camera.
Wearing
When wearing the TG001 Techview Glasses, you can hang the TG-Box on your
belt or wrist using either the clip or the wristband.
Adjust the angle of the camera by turning the knob on the right temple of the
glasses. You can also adjust the ear hook on the left temple to keep the
glasses in place.
Power On
To power on the TG-Box, press and hold the button on the right side of the
TG-Box. When powered on for the first time, you will be guided through basic
settings, including language, Wi-Fi connection, time zone, date, and time.
Please follow the guide to complete the settings.
Login
- Press the button on the right side of the TG-Box to power it on. This will take you to the opening screen.
- Swipe up to get to the tool’s home page.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
OVERVIEW
Welcome to the TG001 Techview Glasses, smart glasses that help deliver remote
assistance for all of your projects.
Below is an image of the TG001 Techview Glasses fully assembled.
- The camera can gather audio and video data. It has a USB-C port to transfer data.
- The TG-Box has a built-in app, a touch screen, and a USB-C port.
Note
The user interface of the app may vary slightly due to update. Please refer to
the actual product.
- The frame and the lenses of the glasses are magnetically fitted. They can be separated.
- Both ends of the included cable are USB-C connectors. It is used to connect the camera and the TG-Box.
- The clip (or the wristband) can be mounted on the back of the TG-Box, so you can hang the TG-Box on your belt or wrist to free up your hands while working.
ASSEMBLING
Before using the TG001 Techview Glasses, you need to assemble the components.

Install the clip or the wristband.
(Choose the clip or the wristband as needed.)-
When you choose the clip:
To mount the clip, align the clip’s base with the slot on the back of the TG- Box and then insert the clip’s base into the slot.
To remove the clip, press down on one end of the clip to lift up the other end. Then pull up on the part of the base that is raised and take the clip out of the slot. -
When you choose the wristband:
To mount the wristband, insert the base into the hole on the back of the TG- Box. Then turn the base 90 degrees clockwise.
To remove the wristband, lift and turn the base 90 degrees counterclockwise. After that, you can separate the wristband and the TG-Box.

Connect the camera and the frame.

Align the slot on the camera with the knob on the right temple of the frame with the slot above the knob.

Push down the slot to slide the knob into it.

Remove the cover of the USB-C port on the top of the TG-Box and insert one end of the cable into the port.

Insert the other end of the cable into the USB-C port on the camera.
WEARING
When you wear the TG001 Techview Glasses, you can hang the TG-Box on your belt or wrist with the clip or the wristband. Please note that you can turn the knob on the right temple of the glasses to adjust the angle of the camera.
You can also adjust the ear hook on the left temple to keep the glasses in place.
POWER ON
The TG-Box can be powered on by pressing and holding the button on the right side of the TG-Box.
Note
When the TG-Box is powered on for the first time, the system will guide you
through basic settings, including the language, Wi-Fi connection, time zone,
date, and time. Please follow the guide to complete the settings.
LOGIN
Log in before using the TG001 Techview Glasses.

Press the button on the right side of the TG-Box to power it on. This will take you to the opening screen.

Swipe up to get to the tool’s home page.

Tap any option on the home page to go to the login page.

Enter the account number and password, and then tap Log In.
Note
- If you do not have an account, please register one first. Tap Register at the bottom of the login page, and then enter relevant information.
- When you log in for the first time, the system will ask you to bind the TG001 Techview Glasses. Please follow the instructions to complete the binding.
REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS
When you need support from a vehicle diagnostics expert, you can send an order via the app built in the TG-Box. After an expert accepts the order, you can communicate with the expert remotely in real-time through video and get the expert’s support.
Sending An Order
- Tap Send order on the home page to go to the Publish requirements page.
- Enter information and tap Submit.
Note
When you create an order, you can select an expert. If you select an expert,
only this expert can accept the order. If you don’t select a specific expert,
any expert can accept the order. After you send the order, you can view it by
tapping My orders on the home page.
Communicating With The Expert
When your order is accepted, you can communicate with the expert through text,
voice call, and video.

Tap My orders on the home page to go to the My orders page.

Find out the target order and click on it to go to the Order Details page.

Tap the earphone icon at the upper right corner to start communicating with an expert.

Tap the Video Assistance icon at the bottom to start video communication.
Note
When you are talking with the expert through video, the camera of the TG001
Techview Glasses will transmit the captured video to the expert in real-time.
The expert can make highlights in the screen and you can see these marks in
real-time. At the same time, you and the expert can talk by voice in real-
time.
WARRANTY
TOPDON’s One-Year Limited Warranty
TOPDON warrants to its original purchaser that the company’s products will be
free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of
purchase (Warranty Period). For the defects reported during the Warranty
Period, TOPDON will either repair or replace the defective part or product
according to its technical support analysis and confirmation. TOPDON shall not
be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the
device’s use, misuse, or mounting. If there is any conflict between the TOPDON
warranty policy and local laws, the local laws shall prevail.
This limited warranty is void under the following conditions:
- Misused, disassembled, altered, or repaired by unauthorized stores or technicians.
- Careless handling and/or improper operation.
