Set up your TV & Power up
Step 1
Remove your TV from the box Be careful, it’s heavy!
To mount on a wall
Follow the instructions that come with the wall mount.
*Wall mount sold separately.
To use the stand

To prevent damage to the screen, carefully place your TV on a soft,
cushioned surface.
**B**
Put the stands into the TV, align the stands with the screw holes
located on the TV.
**C**
Secure the stands to the TV with four (4) screws.
NOTE: Actual placement of TV ports may vary by model.
Step 2
In this step, we’ll make sure all systems are GO!
Power your TV remote by inserting the included batteries carefully matching
(+) and (-) indicated inside the battery compartment.
Connect your power cord to the TV, then plug it in to the wall outlet.
Power Tip! Always replace dead batteries with two brand-new batteries
from the same manufacturer. Never use damaged batteries.

Grab your remote
The TV remote should feel right at home in your hand.
It was designed to be incredibly intuitive for watching TV and navigating on-
screen menus.
Here are some buttons you should know about.

Step 4
Tip: Have your wireless network name and password handy.
Follow the on-screen instructions on your Roku TV.
If you aren’t ready to connect your TV to a wireless network, you can still
use it as a regular TV.
Step 5 (Optional)
Watching local broadcast TV? How do you scan for channels?
If you connected your TV to an antenna or cable wall jack (no box):
- When the setup wizard is complete, select the ANTENNA icon from the home screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions .
- Whenever you want to watch local broadcast TV, select ANTENNA icon .
- Connect a USB memory stick to enjoy photos, music, and movies, or to enable Live TV Pause. Live TV Pause is only available on the Antenna input of your Roku TV and requires a dedicated USB 2.0 compatible flash drive with at least 16 GB of storage to record video. The Live TV Pause feature requires a Roku account and active internet connection.
Activate your smart TV
Activate your Roku TV using your computer, smartphone, or tablet to link to a Roku account. You need a Roku account to activate your Roku TV and access entertainment across thousands of streaming channels.
Note: Roku doesn’t charge for activation support – beware of scams.
Roku accounts are free and while a valid credit card number is not required to
create a Roku account, saving your credit card information makes renting and
purchasing entertainment from the Roku Channel Store fast and convenient.
Once connected to your account, your TV will automatically update with the
latest software, and you can start streaming immediately.
And setup is done…congratulations!
Continue using the remote to personalize your home screen and channel line-up, stream movies, and so much more. If you have an antenna connected, just click the tuner tile to watch broadcast TV channels. The fun has just begun!
Getting to know your TV
**A**
STATUS LIGHT Glows when the TV is in standby, flashes once with each
button press of the remote control.
**B**
POWER BUTTON Press and hold for power on/off. (Location may vary by
model.)
**C**
COMPOSITE AV IN If your device isn’t able to connect using HDMI®,
connect to your TV using standard yellow/white/red cables.
**D**
RESET BUTTON Press and hold for factory reset. Careful, you will lose
all your settings!
**E**
HEADPHONE OUT Connect headphones or other external speakers.
**G**
3 HDMI PORTS Connect cable box, Blu-ray player, gaming console, or
other devices to your TV using HDMI cables.
HDMI ARC PORT Connect HDMI ARC (audio return channel) capable audio devices
like sound bars or AV receivers.
**H**
AIR/CABLE IN Connect Cable TV feed or an outdoor VHF/ UHF antenna.
**I**
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT Connect an optical cable to an external digital
audio system.
**J**
USB PORT Connect a USB device for browsing photos, music and movies.
