Condenser Microphone for Wind Instruments

The OMNITRONIC IC-1100 PRO is a light and compact condenser microphone with cardioid characteristic designed for wireless applications on stage and in recording studios. It is ideally suited for direct pick-up of woodwind and brass instruments. The microphone connection cable with balanced mini XLR plug serves for connecting a pocket transmitter. The microphone is supplied with in stable transport box. For operation, the microphone requires 9-52 V phantom power.

Setting into Operation

  1. Clamp the spring clamp onto your instrument.
  2. Adjust the microphone to the sound source.
  3. Place the windshield.
  4. Connect the microphone via its connection cable with a mini XLR plug to the XLR microphone input of your pocket transmitter. Make sure the input provides phantom power.

Cleaning

For cleaning the microphone, only use a dry cloth. Never use chemicals or water.
