Preparation Before Using
Pull out the battery insulation sheet.
Downloading the Govee Home App
Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
Connecting to Bluetooth
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and get close to the thermo-hygrometer. ( Notice : Android device users should turn on Location and iOS users should tap “Setting – Govee Home -Location -Always” on your phone.)
- Open Govee Home, tap the “+” icon at the top right corner, and select “H5177”.
- Follow instructions on the app to complete the connection.
- It shows a Bluetooth-connected icon on the LCD screen once the connection is completed.
- Please check the above steps and try again if the connection failed.
Using Your Device with the Govee Home App

Export data
Send historical data to your mailbox in CSV format. -
Alert me
Push alert notifications once temp/humidity goes out of preset range. -
Calibration
The calibration range for the temperature is ±3°C/±5.4° F while for the humidity is ±20.0%.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot connect to Bluetooth.
- Make sure Bluetooth in your phone has been turned on.
- Connect to the thermo-hygrometer in the Govee Home app instead of the Bluetooth list in your phone.
- Keep the distance between your phone and the indoor thermo-hygrometer less than 70m/230ft.
- Keep your phone as close to the indoor thermal-hygrometer as possible.
- Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select “Setting – Govee Home – Location – Always” in the phone.
- Data in the app is not updated.
- Make sure the device has connected to the Govee Home app.
- Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select “Setting – Govee Home – Location – Always” in the phone.
- Cannot export data in the app.
Please sign up and log in to your account before exporting data.
Warning
- The device should work in an environment with a temperature ranging from 60 to 60C and humidity from 0% to 99%.
- Please take out batteries if you don’t use the device for an extended period of time.
- Prevent dropping devices from the high place.
- Do not disassemble the devices violently.
- Do not immerse devices in the water.
