User Manual Flying Saucer Tree Swing

Before You Start
Please read all instructions carefully and keep it for future reference.

The product must be installed and used under the supervision of an adult.
Read through each step carefully and follow the proper order.
Remove all packaging, separate and count all parts and hardware.
Please ensure that all parts are correctly installed, incorrect installation
can lead to a danger.
We recommend that, where possible, all items are assembled near the area in
which they will be placed in use, to avoid moving the product unnecessarily
once assembled.
Ensure a secure surface during installation, and place the product always on a
flat, steady and stable surface.
Please check and maintain it regularly, and the most important part needs to
be suspended, fixed, or anchored to the ground.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
-Recommended for children 6+ years

-Read all instructions before using this product.
Intended solely for family and domestic use, not for a commercial playground
or daycare. Two adults needed for the assembly.
Hanging hardware not included. Ideally, the swing body should be hung over
grass, sand, wood chips, or other soft surfaces. Under no circumstances should
it be hung over concrete, asphalt, or other hard surfaces. Distance from
ground should not exceed 40cm; the maximum fall height should not be more than
46cm. Two S hooks are attached to the rope to allow for adjustment of the rope
length.
Please be sure to examine the ropes regularly to check for wear. Rope will, in
time, degrade. If the color of the rope has become pale, frays easily, or
gives off a powdery material when rubbed between the fingers, we recommend you
replace the rope.
Equipment should be hung in such a way that a distance of at least 2m is clear
on either side. It can be hung on an A-frame or swing set or on a tree limb of
a diameter of at least 25cm.

Small parts are included, so the assembly must be done by adults. Tools

Assembly Steps
Swing arrives in 4 pieces, 2 hanging ropes, a jump body for
assembly.
Put the jump body on the floor, and put the 4 hook and loop fasteners to the
black mat direction.
Put the 4 metal tubes with foam into the
sleeves one by one.
Put the tube like this.
Put 2 tubes into the sleeves, connect the
small socket to the large socket.
Repeat last step and fold this product in half as the picture.
Connect the body to form a circular platform.
Assemble the screw bolt by threading it through the hook and loop fastener
belt.
Thread the screw bolt through the hook and
loop fastener belt.
Assemble the screw bolt to the frame tube.
Tighten it with screw nut, do not forget the washer.
Use wrench to tighten it before use.
After the bolts are assembled, cover the hook and loop fastener
belt, and repeat the installation of the other 3 bolts 3 times.
The appearance from the top is shown in the figure. All assembled and ready to
use.
Ensure the Safety of the Swing
The clearance around the swing should be 4 meters.
Falling on a hard surface may cause serious injury to the user.
Do not use the equipment until it is properly installed.
This swing is not to be used in any other manner other than its intended use.
Adult supervision is required.
Adults should verify that the hanging ropes are secured and cannot be looped
back on the swing.
It is important for adults to instruct children to:
-Dress appropriately while using the swing (Don’t wear ponchos, scarves and other loose clothing, which can be potentially dangerous).
-If swinging alone, sit in the center of the swing and let all the weight fall on the swing.
-Avoid swinging the empty seat.
It is important for adults to instruct children NOT to
-Walk close to or in front of, behind, or in the middle of moving item.
-Twist the rope or put it on the top support rod, because doing so may reduce the strength of the rope.
-Leave when the swing is still swinging.
-Climb on the swing when it gets wet.
-Attach other items that may cause a strangulation hazard.
-Ride a bike on the swing or wear a sports helmet.
Maintaining the Swing
At the beginning of each season, adults should:
Tighten all hardware.
– Check protective coverings of all pipes, edges and corners. If it is loose,
cracked or missing, replace it.
– Check all moving parts including swing seats and ropes for wear, rust or
other deterioration. Replace as needed. The hardware for this swing (binding
post, screws, S-shaped-hook, lock washer, flat washer, and metal ring)can be
found at local hardware store.
