Lens Compatibility Table
The Focal Flange Distance (FFD) is the distance between the image plane (image
sensor) and the front of the camera interface (mount or bayonet).
When focusing at infinity the distance between the lens and the image plane is
the smallest. The distance between the rear of the lens and the camera
standard, at infinity, determines the space left for shift, tilt or swing
movement of the Actus.
Key
- “–” = not compatible1
- “●” = restricted movement
- “○” = no restriction in movement
Footnotes
- When there is no physical space, the camera/lens combination can’t focus at infinity, in some cases it could be used for close-up (macro) photography.
- Please note that the bayonet lenses and the Actar lenses don’t feature an iris shutter, when the camera used doesn’t have a focal plane shutter, the electronic shutter of the camera can be used.

- Not all lenses are compatible. Refer to the lens compatibility table to check which lenses can be used with the CAMBO Actus System.
- What does it mean when the table shows restricted movement for a lens?
- Restricted movement indicates that the lens can be used, but with limitations on the shift, tilt, or swing movements of the camera.
- Is it possible to use bayonet lenses and Actar lenses without an iris shutter?
- Yes, if the camera used does not have a focal plane shutter, the electronic shutter of the camera can be used.
