Preparation Before Installing

  1. Installing the Batteries
    • Slide down to remove the mounting bracket.
    • Insert three AAA batteries. Make sure the positive and negative ends are facing to the correct polarity direction as marked in the battery compartment.
  2. Choosing a Location
    • The device should be installed in a dark area.
    • Make sure the installation surface is dry and clean.
    • Make sure the area in front of the device is obstruction-free.
    • Do not install the device in a location that can interfere with your work or rest.
    • Do not install the device in a location that directly faces an infrared beam.

Installing Your Night Light

Option A: Installing with the 3M Adhesive

  1. Stick the 3M adhesives on the mounting bracket and remove the protective film on the 3M adhesives.
  2. Stick the mounting bracket onto the wall. Make sure the arrow on the bracket is pointing down.
  3. Align the holes on the back of the device with the pins on the bracket. Slide down to mount the device.
    Note: Please select the surface you will adhere the mounting bracket to carefully. Removing the mounting bracket may cause damage to the surface.

Option B: Installing with the Screws

  1. Measure a distance of 1.74in (44.2mm) between two points for the plastic anchors. Use a pen to mark the drill points.

  2. Use a drill bit to drill two 0.98in (25mm) deep holes and fully insert the plastic anchors into the holes.

  3. Align the mounting bracket with the plastic anchors and hold against the wall. Insert the screws through the fixing holes and screw firmly into the plastic anchors. Note: Make sure the arrow on the mounting bracket is pointing down.

  4. Align the holes on the back of the device with the pins on the bracket. Slide down to mount the device.

Option C: Place on the Desktop

Using Your Night Light

  • The device does not light up in a bright areas.
  • In dark areas, the device automatically turns on if motion is detected within its effective sensing range. The light automatically turns off if motion is not detected for 15s.
  • In dark areas, the device does not turn on if motion is not detected within its effective sensing range (120° horizontally, 3- 5m).
  • Make sure the distance between two devices is at least 5ft when you use multiple devices. Or they will interfere with each other.

Troubleshooting

  1. The light does not turn on.

    • The device is installed in an area with too much light. Please move it to an area with less light exposure.
    • Batteries are running low. Please replace the batteries.
    • The device is not able to detect motion out of its effective sensing range.
    • Make sure there are no obstructions blocking the device’s motion sensor.
  2. The light is dim.

    • Batteries are out of power. Please replace the batteries.
    • There is dust on the LED surface. Clean it using a hairdryer.
  3. The light does not turn off in bright areas.
    When the device lights up due to motion in the dark and then another bright light source is turned on, the device will remain lighting and will only turn off if the sensor does not detect motion for 15s.

    • Place the device in a dark area without any motion (e.g place in a drawer).
    • Take out the batteries and re-insert them

  • The device is for indoor use only.
  • This device should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries together,
  • Do not mix new and used batteries.
  • Do not install near any heat sources.
  • Do not disassemble this device.
  • Exhausted batteries should be disposed of according to local environmental regulations.
  • The light source of this device is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the device should be replaced.
