Product Information

The Macaron Mini OBD2 Dongle is a device that allows you to collect CAN data from your vehicle. It connects to the OBD2 port of your vehicle and communicates with the DIMO App on your smartphone. By collecting data during your driving, you can earn rewards with DIMO.

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Download the DIMO App and register an account

  1. Please download the DIMO App from the app store.
  2. Register an account using your Gmail, Apple ID, or MetaMask Wallet.
  3. Login into the DIMO App.

Step 2: Connect the Macaron device to OBD2 port of the vehicle

Install the Macaron to your vehicle’s OBD2 port. You can install it directly or via a CAN cable.

Verify that the lights on Macaron are on, and the blue light is blinking.

Step 3: Pairing process

  1. When the blue light is blinking, you can start the pairing  process.
  2. Select “Connect Device” in the DIMO App.
  3. Select “Macaron” from the list of devices.
  4. When prompted, scan the Macaron’s QR code on the side of the device.
  5. Complete the pairing process by following the steps in the App.

Step 4: Start driving and collect CAN data

Once the pairing process is complete, start driving your vehicle. The Macaron device will collect the CAN data from your vehicle.

Enjoy your driving and earn rewards with DIMO.
