User Guide

  1. Start with TUYA Smart’ APP or “Smart Life’ APP.
  2. Register an TUYA Smart account.
  3. If you have TUYA Smart account just log in,

  1. Power up
    ON/OFF operating principle: The connected appliances work/stop through live wire power on/off.
    4,1. It directly connects the light.
    4.2. It connects light and rocker switches.
    4.3. R connects light and a rocker switch,
    *Note: The Smart Breaker must be powered up by connecting N and L wires to normal use.

  2. Press and hold the button for about 7 seconds until the green LED blinks fast.
    5.1. Enter App,tap’+‘at the upper right corner of the page to enter network connection page.
    5.2. There are two network connection methods (Normal mode and AP made). Normal made is default. Users could tap the upper right corner to switch the connection method to AP mode.
    5.3. Please make sure the device’s indicator light rapidly flashes (2 times per second),tap to go on to the next step.
    5.4. If indicator light is not rapidly flashing, tap” how to set indicator light as rapid flashes” to view operation processes.

    5.6. Name your device.
    5.7. The device is online.

  3. Bluetooth function operation instructions
    If you use a Bluetooth product, power on the device first Then, enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and open the App.
    Bluetooth devices ready for pairing will be displayed.

    7.1. You must add a gateway before adding Zigbee devices. To add a gateway, tap Add Device on the Home page. On the page that appears, tap Gateway Control in the left-side navigation pane and select a gateway.
    7.2. Power on the gateway and use a network cable to connect it to a router.
    7.3, Make sure that your mobde phone and the gateway are under the same LAN. The mobile phone must be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.

17.4 To add a Zigbee device that is connected to the gateway go to the gateway page and tap Add subdevice. The remaining steps to add the Zigbee device are the same as adding Wi-Fi devices and Bluetooth devices.

27.5. The latest version of the app supports automatic discovery of nearby Zigbee devices, allowing you to add multiple devices to the gateway at ance.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Q: How to set indicator light as rapid flashing?
1. Power on device. power off after 10s and then power on.
2. Hold the reset button for 5s.
3. Confirm indicator light is now rapidly flashing.

Q: How to set indicator light as slow flashing?
1. Power on device. power off after 10s and then power on.
2. Hold the reset button far 5s,
3. Confirm indicator light is now rapidly flashing.
4. Rehold reset button for 5s until indicator light is stowly flashing.

The new added device needs 1 min to connect to Wifi and Internet if it stays Offline for a long time please find the problem through the LED status.
