Quick Guide of Using Amazon Echo To Control Smart Devices

Please scan the QR Code, or get Smart Life downloaded from App Store or Android Market. -
Register an account in the 4NBSU-JGF Open Smart Life into the account registration page, click on the upper right corner of the “Register”.

Add devices(for example, Smart Bulb)
After login to Smart LifeAPP, click on “+” . • Smart LifeAPP supports two types of distribution network modes: EZ mode and AP mode. EZ mode is the default
• EZ Mode: The indicator light flashes rapidly.(Two times a second)
• AP Mode: The indicator light flash slowly
• Select the WiFi you are using and input the password, Click “next to connect the device. -
Rename the device
After the device is added successfully, click the device description text to modify the device name. The name of the device is recommended to use the easy pronunciation of the English words. (Amazon Echo only supports English temporarily)
Multiple devices can be added and renamed according to the above procedures.
Enable 4NBSU-JGgkill in Alexa APP
Choose “Skills” in the options bar, and then search-Smart Life’ in the input
box.
Select Smart Life in the search results, and then click “Enable Skill”.
Then input the user name and password that you had previously registered. Only
support the account in the United States.
Control Smart Bulb by Voice
After the above operation is successful, you can control the bulb via Echo.
3.1. Discover devices
Firstly, you need to say to Echo: Echo(or Alexa), discover my devices. Echo
will start to find the devices which is added in Smart Life APR which will
take about 20 seconds, then it will tell you the result. You can also click
“Discover devices” in Alexa APR then it will show the devices that were found
successfully. 3.2. Control devices by voice
Attention: The name of the device must be consistent with the addition of the
Smart Life app. You can also group the bulbs and give instructions to control
them together.
Attention:
Echo is one of the wake-up names, which can be any of these three
names(Settings): Alexa, Echo, Amazon
3.3. Support Skill list
You can control devices by instructions like these:
Alexa(or echo), turn on [bedroom light] Alexa(or echo), turn off [bedroom
light] Alexa(or echo), set [bedroom light] Alexa(or echo), to 50 percent
increase [bedroom light] Alexa(or echo), to 50 percent decrease [bedroom
light] Alexa(or echo), to 50 percent set [smart heater] Alexa(or echo), to 34
raise [smart heater] Alexa(or echo), by 4 lower [smart heater] by 2
Bluetooth function operation instructions
- Please connect the bulb to the power, turn on-off-on-off-on-off-on and then the bulb will flash and enter the state and network match.
- Connect the phone to wifi and turn on the Bluetooth, ensure that the phone network is smooth
- After opening and logging in to the “SmartLife” APP “clickthe ‘Add button, the dual-mode bulb lamp will automatically pop up the connection window, click “Connect”, after it is successful, the smart control can be realized, and the smart bulb lamp can be controlled through the mobile phone APR
