SENSOR SETTING

Recommended Sensor Setting

  1. TIME TIME knob to adjust icon position: 30s (common lighting time)
  2. SENS SENSOR knob to adjust icon position: 40ft (longest triggering distance)
  3. LUX LUX knob to adjust icon position: 20 Lux
    Recommended Sensor Setting

NOTE: LUX has to be at ” ” for 20 Lux in case of lighting in daytime.

Note:

  1. At an ambient temperature of 77 degrees fahrenheit, Rh 30%-80% the detection distance is at max. (up to 40ft). As the temperature increases or decreases, the detection distance will be affected.
  2. To reduce possible nuisances, do not mount the fixture near a heat source like an air conditioner, vent or furnace exhaust, or in a direction facing any reflective object or other nearby light source.
  3. No any reflective object can be allowed within 1.5m radius of the sensor head, otherwise, it will cause flashing lights.

Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN !

WARNING
Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture or installing the new one.
LED electronics can be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD) shock. Before installation, discharge yourself by touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this hazard. To avoid damage, do not remove the clear lens over the LED module.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Turn power OFF before installing or servicing.

  2. Do NOT touch or install fixture while in contact with standing water.

  3. Do NOT remove the protective LED lens.

  4. Do NOT look directly at lighted LEDs for any length of time.

  5. Do NOT leave bare wires exposed outside the wall canopy enclosure.

  6. Electrical requirements: 100-240V, 50/60Hz

  7. Suitable for wall or eave mounting onto recessed or round surface mounted electrical boxes rated for wet location.
    Not suitable for ground mount electrical boxes.

  8. Do NOT allow the sensor head to touch the LED head housing.
    Maintain at least 1 in. spacing between the LED heads and the sensor head.

  9. For proper operation and protection against water damage, the motion sensor adjustment controls MUST be facing downward.

  10. Do NOT mount below 5 ft.

PREPARATION
Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with parts list.
If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to install the product. Tools Required for Assembly (not included):
Phillips Screwdriver, Flat-head Screwdriver, Step Ladder, Pliers, Silicone Sealant, Eye Protection.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION: Product must be installed by a qualified electrician!

  1. Turn off power to work area at main circuit breaker or fuse box.
    CAUTION: Do not rely on wall switch to turn off power.

  2. Pass the wire through the washer (B). Make sure the holes match each other.

  3. Wiring the light and junction box through the mounting bracket.
    a. Connect the white wire to the white wire by twisting Wire Nut (A).
    b. Connect the black wire to the black wire by twisting Wire Nut (A).

  4. Make sure the cable connections are secure. Carefully align the cables in the junction box. Mount the light to the junction box and secure with the NUTS (D). DO NOT over tighten compound or silicone glue.
    Once all connections are complete and the silicone is dry, you can turn on the power to the light at the main junction box or breaker panel.

  5. Installation is now complete.
    Turn on power at circuit breaker and flip wall switch to ON position.
    Wall switch must remain in the ON position for the motion detector to work properly (include daytime).

ADJUST THE LIGHT ARMS

Aim sensor head toward desired detection area and make sure sensor head is positioned with controls facing toward the ground You can adjust the sensor head up and down, left to right for desired coverage area.

Please aim the sensor head toward your desired detecting area.

RECOMMENDED INSTALL HEIGHT

  1. 5.9-8.2 feet above the ground.
  2. At such a height, the fixture will provide a detection distance of up to 40 feet at 77 degrees fahrenheit.

The sensor will be more sensitive to motion across than motion towards it directly.

MODES DESCRIPTION

  1. Long press the button for more thar 2S to turn on/off the a light, and the light has a memory function.
  2. Click the button (<0.5S) to switch the color temperature cyclically, the color temperature mode is 2700K/ 4000K/ 6500K-cycle.
  3. Double-click the button (within 1 S) to cycle through the following three modes.

The light will turn on at full brightness when motion is detected at night. Deactivates during the daylight hours.| The light will have a brightness of 20% when no one is around at night, and 100% brightness when motion is detected.| The light can be manually turned on and off, and will be at 100% brightness.

Note:

  1. the motion mode and dim light mode are combined into 1 mode to set in the app.
  2. The mode can be set according to personal preferences on the AiDot app.

TROUBLES SHOOTING

PROBLEM PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Light does not come on at night when motion is detected
  1. No power is being delivered to the light.
  2. Another light source is causing the security light to think it is daylight
  3. Wiring inside electrical box came Loose.

  1. Check that circuit breaker and/or wall switch power is on.
  2. Turn off surrounding lights or re-aim the sensor head.
  3. After turn in a power off to the light reconnect any loose wiring.

Security light comes on during the day.| Sensor is in a shaded area and fooled into thinking it is nighttime.|

  1. Shine a flashlight onto the light sensor.
  2. Relocate security light to where allows enough light enter the sensor during daytime.

The Light flashes.| There is lighting, welding. Mobile sources or other such unstable light.| Avoid to irradiate by such light source.
The light turn on  in daytime.|

  1. Lux knob setting is wrong.
  2. Surrounding environment is too dark.

  3. Press ‘+’ button to add device.

  6. Choose the device what you find in ‘Nearby’ (PS: You must open the Bluetooth and Location Services. If you still can not fine the device in ‘Nearby’, Try to reset the device: Long press the button for more than 1 OS to enter flash mode.)
