D11437 Connecting The Ventilation Unit To The Myvallox Cloud Service
Important Information
The My Val lox ventilation unit can be connected to the free My Val lox Cloud
service. The cloud service allows for controlling ventilation remotely, using
e.g., a smartphone or tablet. In addition, the unit’s software is updated
automatically through the cloud service.
The ventilation unit is registered to the cloud service by using the My Val
lox Home app. My Valor Home is a browser-based program for initializing and
controlling the ventilation unit over your home network.
Registering to the cloud service requires the ventilation unit to be connected
to the router via a LAN cable and subsequently to the internet.
The ventilation unit’s network cable can also be connected to a so-called WiFi
range extender that connects to the router wirelessly. Registration also
includes creating a My Val lox Cloud account.
NOTE
These instructions were written for Windows operating systems.

Troubleshooting
If you are having problems establishing a My Val lox Cloud connection, check the following
- The ventilation unit is connected via a network cable, either directly into the router or WiFi range extender, and not the computer.
- The router grants the ventilation unit a unique IP address (an IP address starting with 192, 172, or 10).
- You can access http://cloud.vallox.com from your computer browser via your local area network.
- Output ports 80 and 443 must be enabled in the router.
- The ventilation unit and computer are both connected via a router to the same home network, not a public internet.
