INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Dear Customer,
Thank You for purchasing a CENTEK brand product. We guarantee flawless
function of this item, provided the guidelines of its operation are observed.
The coffee grinder is a home appliance and is not designed for industrial
applications!
PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE: for grinding roasted coffee beans.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The appliance purchased by You complies with all official safety standards
applicable to electric appliances in the Russian Federation.
The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid
situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures
of the appliance:

Carefully read the present manual before putting the appliance into operation.

Retain the present manual, cash voucher and the packaging

If lost, the present user manual will not be renewed and the guarantee will become void. Use the appliance only for its intended purpos.

Do not place the appliance near heat sources, do not expose it to direct sunlight and moisture (do not submerge it in water or other liquids). Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
In case of ingress of moisture or a leak from the appliance, immediately disconnect it from power supply. -
Do not place the appliance on soft, uneven, unstable surfaces. Do not cover the appliance.

Always disconnect the appliance from power supply after use and before cleaning. When disconnecting the appliance from power supply pull the plug, not the cable.

Do not allow children to play with the appliance.

The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play withthe appliance.

Regularly check the appliance and its power cord for damage. Do not operate the appliance if it is not working properly.
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Apply to qualified technicians. If the power cable should be damaged, have it replaced by the Manufacturer, authorized service centre or similar skilled personnel to avoid dangerous situations. -
Use only original spare parts. Do not use accessories other than those included in the supply.

Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance before operating it.

Before first use ensure that the appliance is complete and properly assembled.

Do not pull the power cable if it touches sharp edges, is jammed by any objects or entangled; do not allow the power cord to touch hot objects.

In case of damage to the power cable or any other part of the appliance immediately disconnect it from power supply and apply to a service centre authorized by the Manufacturer. In case of an unauthorized intervention into the appliance or nonobservance of the operating requirements listed in the present manual the Manufacturer’s warranty will become void.

Connect the appliance only to power grid sockets equipped with earthing contacts, use only two-pole extension cables with 10A rating and an earthing conductor.

Do not use multiple high-power appliances simultaneously – this may lead to malfunctions in residential power supply systems.

The appliance may only be disassembled after the motor has come to a complete standstill.

Do not use the appliance if:
• the power cable is damaged;
• the appliance has visible damage;
• the appliance has been dropped;
• the appliance has been exposed to moisture. -
Do not use the appliance at ambient temperatures below 0 °С and above 35 °С. If the appliance has been exposed to temperatures below 0 °C for a prolonged time, place it in a heated room for at least 3 hours before first turning it on.

Pull the power plug from the electric socket: if the appliance does not operate properly (excessive noise, vibrations, etc.); before disassembly or reassembly; after each use. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply it you should leave it unattended even for a short time.

Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.
ATTENTION! Risk of electric shock!
Do not wash the appliance with running water and do not submerge it and its
power cable in water or other liquids. Should this happen, immediately
disconnect the appliance from power supply, let it dry out completely and have
it checked at the nearest service center.
ATTENTION! Risk of injury! Never touch the rotating blades with bare
hands, replace attachments only after the motor has come to a full stop!
ATTENTION! Fire hazard! Never allow the device to come into contact with
flammable liquids and combustible materials!

OPERATION PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
Before operating the coffee grinder for the first time wipe the housing,
coffee container, blade and cap with a soft damp cloth, then let it dry.
– Place the appliance on an even surface.
– Remove the cap from the unit by turning it counterclockwise.
– Fill coffee beans into the grinder’s container.
– Place the cap on the grinder’s housing and turn it all the way clockwise.
The safety device prevents the unit from turning off when the cap is not fully
closed.
– Unwind the power cord to the desired length and connect the unit to power
supply.
– Press on the cap and hold it down until the coffee is ground to the desired
degree. You can control the grinding fineness by changing the operating time.
– Do not remove the cap from the grinder before the blade comes to a complete
standstill. When the blade is not rotating any more, remove the cap and pour
the ground coffee into a different container.
MAINTENANCE
– Ensure that the unit is turned off and disconnected from power supply before
cleaning. Do not submerge the unit and its power cord in water or other
liquids.
– Rinse the cap in warm water with a small quantity of detergent and wipe it
dry.
– Remove the coffee residue with a brush; do not touch the sharp blades with
your hands.
– To remove the smell and nut residues grind a teaspoonful of baking sods,
then thoroughly wipe the bowl clean.
– Wipe the outer surface with a soft cloth.
– Coil up the power cord and put the unit away for storage.
SUGGESTIONS
– Always keep the container lid tightly closed to retain the taste and flavor
of the coffee beans.
– Grind the coffee directly before consumption.
– The quantity of the coffees beans should not exceed the maximum mark on the
container. The reference ration is 1 teaspoon of coffee per cup. You will find
the optimum ratio over time.
– The fineness of the grind will depend on the grinding time.
– Do not leave the coffee inside the bowl after grinding; otherwise it will
lose its flavor and fresh taste. Wash the bowl, cap and blades directly after
use.
– The unit is designed for grinding dry brittle foods.
Do not use it for grinding products containing large quantities of oil, such
as peanuts, and hard foods such as rice and sugar. Sugar will melt under heat
and can block the grinder motor.

DISPOSAL
Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre.

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end
user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present
manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life
please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to
further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is
integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 –
month of manufacture). If any questions related to appliance maintenance
should arise, or if the appliance has malfunctions, apply to the CENTEK TM
Authorized Service Center.

The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months since the date of
sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms
the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of
charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.
GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
– The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card. The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous. -
The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
– the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
– the safety rules and requirements are observed. -
The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
– mechanical damage;
– normal wear of the appliance;
– non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
– improper installation or transportation;
– natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
– ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
– repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
– use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
– failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
– for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
– for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging. -
The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).
The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
