Key Advantages of locked resolution video card
The built-in EDID locked resolution function of the graphics card can still maintain the screen information and position in the case of the display power failure, disconnection or signal switching. Not chaotic, in the multi-screen display engineering application, it has the advantages of stable signal transmission such as locking resolution, not messing with the screen, not dropping the screen, and not flashing the screen. It also reduces various adapters and can effectively reduce various unstable problems caused by poor interface and signal attenuation, especially suitable for projection fusion and LCD, LED multi-screen splicing and other projects.
DIP switches
The graphics card are equipped with 4-digit DIP switches as shown below Figure 1 on the board to lock output resolution. Set the striker to ON or OFF positions to enable the locked resolution or disable the locked resolution function.
Notice:
- The locked resolution function of per HDMI interface is independently controlled by a DIP switch;
- When the locked resolution function is turned on, although the interface is not connected to the display, and the system will still recognize the existence of a display device as normal.
- When a HDMI port is locked on a certain resolution, if the connected display device does not support the resolution, there will be no display. For example, a HDMI port of video card is locked on 4K, if a 1080P monitor is connected, it will not be displayed after the graphics card powered on.
- The number of interfaces changes according to the number of interfaces connected to the display or the locked resolution function, but the order remains unchanged. For example, when a 6-screen graphics card is connected to only 5 monitors, the connected interfaces are renumbered in the original order ①-⑤, and the interface number diagram is shown first.
Interface priority display order
The order is used to guide while connecting the displays or enable the locked resolution function, and the ① output port will be displayed at first, and the others are connected will come out until the system has finished booting and the graphics card Initialization completed.
How to turn on the function of resolution locking
On the back of the graphics card, there are 4 DIP switches, numbered ①-④, each
DIP switch controls the HDMI interface with the same number.
For example, to lock the display resolution on 1080P for ①HDMI, find the DIP
switch with the number on the back of the graphics card ①, and then set the
DIP switch bit 1 to 0N and the set bits 2, 3, and 4 to 0FF according to the
code “ON, 0FF, 0FF 0FF” with a resolution of 1080P in the DIP table, so that
the output resolution of ① is locked on 1080P.
- DIP 1 for ②&④; DIP 2 for ③&①; Display priority: ①→④→②→③

Audio Output:
After graphics card installed, if there is no sound on display device through HDMI. Please left click on speaker Icon in tray, then left click the icon “︿” to select the“Digital Audio (HDMI) (High definition Audio Device)” and set it as the default audio output device.
