No, it is a step-down converter that will convert 100-240V AC to 100-120V AC to use US appliances overseas.

Will this work with a dual voltage curler or straightener?
Yes, only if it’s rated less than 200W in power.
Will it work with the Dyson Hair Dryer?
No, hair dryers require more than 1000W so this converter is not sufficient enough to power any type of hair dryers.
