WARNINGS

  • Do not disassemble battery pack
  • Do not dispose of battery pack in fire
  • Do not heat battery pack above 60° Celsius (140° Farenheit)

POWER – On / Off Button

Press will turn on or off the headlight and will indicate battery charge level. (See page 6.)

Battery Status Button

Pressing Battery Status Button will illuminate Battery Status LED to indicate battery charge level. GREEN LED denotes charge is full enough to run battery. RED implies battery needs charging and may not run.
(See page 6.)

Decrease Intensity

10 light levels of intensity, LED display indicates current light level when pressed. Also powers on the battery
if currently off, and will adjust light to next lowest setting from previous.

Increase Intensity

10 light levels of intensity, LED display indicates current light level when pressed. Also powers on the battery
if currently off, and will adjust light to next highest setting from previous.

Suggestions to prolong battery life:

  • Lower intensity settings result in longer battery life
  • Longterm battery life is optimized when charging fully overnight once the battery charge level is between 3 and 7

USING THE BATTERY PACK

Changing your headlight intensity

Headlight Intensity Indicator

When selecting your light level with the plus or minus buttons, it will not only reflect in the physical light emission, but will also be indicated by one single light in the LED pips along the side of the battery (whichever level the intensity is at).

Checking your remaining battery charge

Battery Status Indicator

When selecting the Battery Status button, it will quickly display a flash of the Battery Status LED (indicating either RED for critical battery level or GREEN for good working battery level) in addition to the level of charge displayed in the sequence of LED pips along the side of the battery.

USING THE BATTERY PACK

**** Plug the power supply into the charging port located in the bottom of the battery pack.

Plug power supply into electrical outlet.

Battery Status LED will flash RED for up to 10 seconds after initiallyplugging the battery pack in while it assesses the charge level required.
Battery Status LED will then change to solid RED to indicate the battery is charging. LED pips above the Battery Status LED will be steadily
illuminated in GREEN indicating a full charge to that level. The topmost LED pip will flash to indicate the current level being charged. When battery is charged completely, Battery Status LED will turn GREEN and Battery Level LED pips will be steadily illuminated (no flashing).

If your battery pack is fully discharged, Battery Status LED will flash RED and will not power the headlight on. If it is depleted to a critical level, no Battery Status LED at all will illuminate. Charge slightly to enable Battery Status / Level indicator lights to function again.

Lithium Ion batteries are considered an expendable part and are not considered defective by simply exhibiting diminished capacity. They have an estimated life of approximately 2 years, in which they will be at 80% capacity and will begin to lose additional capcity more rapidly thereafter.
Some best practices can be taken in order to preserve this expected longevity. Avoid charging your battery in short bursts. Try to not charge until your battery level is 7 LED pips or below, then fully charge your battery.
