Description
The Shower Extension Kit includes a butterfly O-ring, a sleeve, and extension screws.
Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Preparation
Before starting the installation process, make sure you have the following tools:
- Adjustable wrench
- Plumber’s tape
Step 2: Removing the Existing Shower Head
- Turn off the water supply to the shower.
- Use an adjustable wrench to loosen and remove the existing shower head from the shower arm.
Step 3: Installing the Shower Extension Kit
- Apply the plumber’s tape to the threads of the shower arm to ensure a watertight seal.
- Screw the sleeve onto the shower arm until it is securely tightened.
- Insert the butterfly O-ring into the sleeve.
- Screw the extension screws into the butterfly O-ring until they are fully tightened.
Step 4: Attaching the Shower Head
- Apply the plumber’s tape to the threads of the extension screws.
- Screw the shower head onto the extension screws until it is securely tightened.
Step 5: Testing and Adjusting
- Turn on the water supply to the shower.
- Check for any leaks at the connections.
- Adjust the angle and height of the shower head as desired.
