The machine can still operate undercharging but is highly suggested to use the machine until it is charged to 90. When the battery is fully charged, the screen will display 99 and four signal lights will keep flashing at the same time.

Description of Non-set Time Interruption

  1. While the coffee maker is working, if the machine panel appears E1/E2 flashing, it indicates that the internal and external water level probes are alarming. E1 indicates that the internal water level probes are in the state of continuous conduction; E2 indicates that the external water level probes are in the state of continuous conduction.
The probes alarm because the grease of coffee is attached to the probes and the exterior wall, which indicates the coffee brewing has reached to a certain level and the coffee is ready to drink. If you need to continue the extraction, please clean the probes and restart the coffee machine.

  2. While the coffee maker is working, there could be a situation where the machine passes out coffee from the inner cup before the set time is up, and the flashing will stop.  This situation means that the extraction of coffee has already reached to a proper level and automatically stops. Press restart to continue brewing if you want a stronger brewing taste.

Water Absorption and Drainage Control

  1. When the coffee maker is off, press the button for more than 2 seconds, and the machine will enter into the “Absorption” state and start to absorb water into the inner cup until the water level reaches the internal probe position. If the water level is not enough and the probe position cannot be reached, it will automatically stop after 1 minute of operation. Or you can simply press to stop this function. This operation is to prevent water from overflowing from the glass bottle when the main unit is put into the glass.
  2. When the coffee maker is off, press the button for more than 2 seconds, and the machine will enter into the “Drainage” state and start to blow air to the outside until the water level reaches the external probe position. If the water level is not enough and the probe position cannot be reached, it will automatically stop after 1 minute of operation. Or you can simply press ) to stop this function. This operation is to blow out coffee or tea in the machine when taking out the main unit and the filter.

Use Requirements and Suggestions

  1. Add enough water into the glass bottle, do not exceed the max water level mark.
  2. Load 40-45g of ground coffee into the ground coffee cup; as for tea, 15-20g is suggested to add
  3. It is recommended to use coarse or medium coarse ground coffee, so does the tea powder. Ground coffee that’s too fine may clog the filter, and thus may lead to less brewed coffee.
  4. For better flavor, it is recommended to put the coffee or tea powder into a filter bag to brew instead of adding the ground coffee directly to the ground coffee cup.Laekerrt UC002 Cold Brew Coffee Maker - fig 5
  5. For better flavor, it is recommended to put the coffee or tea powder into a filter bag and then fasten the drawstring to brew instead of adding the ground coffee directly to the ground coffee cup.
  6. For a better icy taste, it is suggested to add appropriate ice tubes when brewing. You can pick small-size ice tubes and put them into the inner cup or the outside glass bottle, or you can add ice tubes into drinking cups after brewing.
  7. If you want to speed up the process of brewing, you can use hot water but it should be less than 75 C (167 F ). However, the taste will be influenced and different from normal cold brewing if you use hot water to brew. So it is recommended to extract coffee with ice water or room temperature water (20°C-25°C/68°F-77°F) for the best flavor.
  8. After adding ground coffee and water, please turn on and operate the machine before putting the main unit with the inner cup into the outer glass bottle, or long-press © for 2 seconds when the machine is off to absorb water into the inner cup to prevent water from overflowing during the put in process
  9. Gently press down the main unit after putting it into the bottle to make sure there’s no gap in between.
  10. Press and hold for 2 seconds when the machine is off to drain water out of the inner cup if the cup remains coffee or tea when you want to take the main unit out of the glass bottle.
  11. It is normal to have bubbles when brewing, which is because the brewing volume is not enough, and the brewing water level can’t reach the probes. Therefore, the machine keeps blowing or absorb- ing and generates bubbles. If this happens, it is suggested to add more water.
  12. Do not turn the main unit upside down after use to prevent water from entering the circuit board through the probe hole.
  13. Once the cold brew is finished, please make sure to dry the glass bottle and main unit parts every time after cleaning.

User Instruction

  1. Add an appropriate amount of water into the glass bottle, do not exceed the max water level mark.

  2. Add an appropriate amount (recommended 2-3 scoops/40-45g) of coarse or medium coarse ground coffee into the ground coffee cup, cover with upper or bottom filter plate, and screw the ground coffee cup to the inner glass water cup tightly.
Note: For better flavor, it is recommended to put the coffee or tea powder into a filter bag to brew instead of adding the ground coffee directly to the ground coffee cup.Laekerrt UC002 Cold Brew Coffee Maker - fig

Then gently press down the main unit after putting it into the bottle to make sure there’s no gap in between.Laekerrt UC002 Cold Brew Coffee Maker - fig 8

  5. The digital screen will count down until the brewing process gets finished.

  6. After the brew is completed, the machine will automatically drain coffee out of the inner cup. If not, you can press and hold for 2 seconds when the machine is off to drain out the coffee.

  7. Wait for all coffee to be drained out completely and then you can enjoy the cold brew coffee or tea.

  8. Separate the whole main unit parts and the glass bottle. Do not turn the main unit upside down after use to prevent water from entering the circuit board through the probe hole.Laekerrt UC002 Cold Brew Coffee Maker - fig 3

  9. Take out the silicone sealing cover on the main unit for cleaning. Note: Do not let the floating ball fall.

  10. After cleaning, make sure to dry the glass bottle and the main unit parts thoroughly.

Troubleshooting and Analysis

Issue Description Reason Display situation Solution
After working for a period, digital display El or E2 stops working. 1. The

internal or external
probes have been detecting that the coffee is sticky after the concentration reaches a certain level.
2. If the machine is in a charging state since the charging voltage is high, the induction is sensitive. And if the human body touches it, there will be static induction.| Digital displays El or E2| 1. Press to turn off the machine and then restart to see if the signal continues. If yes, unplug the machine and restart the machine to see if it continues.
2. Take out the machine head and wipe the internal (for El) and external probe (for E2) to maintain clean; or if the total extraction time exceeds 45 minutes, and the signal continues to
flash, it means that the coffee extraction has reached a concentration that can be directly drunk.
The inner cup and coffee
cup separate during work| Check if it is screwed well or if boiling water is used| Normal display| Screw to reinstall.
Machine
stops working during work| Low battery| All lights flash for 5s and then stop| Please use a suitable adapter to charge (DC 5.0V).
When charging with wires, the power is getting lower and lower and finally stops| The voltage of the adapter is too low to support the machine to work| All lights flash for 5s and
then stop| Please use a suitable adapter to charge (DC 5.0V) and the original charging cable is highly suggested.
Coffee flows too slowly
while the machine is in use| Battery power is too low, coffee powder is too fine, or too much| Normal display| Please use a suitable adapter to charge (DC 5.0V), or reduce the volume of ground coffee, and do not use too fine coffee powder.
