    • Track rides
    • Troubleshooting
    • Bike movement, vehicle location/GPS
    • Activate alarm
    • Trigger alarm and play sound
    • Change cadence
    • Remote disable
    • Metric change on display
  6. Remember to activate your alarm in the app to keep your bike protected from theft. See Activate alarm under 3.5
Overview of functions

Battery level check
Your main battery state of charge is available for your convenience in the app.
If your bike is equipped with multiple batteries then the main icon will show the total average state of charge level of all connected batteries. It’s possible to press the battery icon on the home screen to see each individual battery state of charge.
By pressing the bike on the main page you can also access an overview that shows the location of each battery and their respective charge level.

Track rides
When your bike is unlocked you can choose to track your ride using the record button on the main page. This will save your ride data in your app.

Troubleshooting
If you experience a problem with your bike or detect an error code in your display you can use the diagnostic section in your app, found in the bottom of the home screen, to see detailed information of the reported error.

Bike movement, vehicle location/GPS
Your bike is equipped with satellite location tracking. The location is reported via cellular connection and forwarded to your app. The tracking unit has a backup battery installed that will ensure location is collected and reported even if you remove the main battery.
Keep in mind that this backup battery is limited and to ensure continued operation of the tracking functionality please connect the main battery once a week and keep it connected for at least an hour (for example during a ride).

NOTE: Satellite tracking requires a clear view of the sky and that the bike cannot report an accurate location if it’s parked in an underground garage for example. The app will always tell you when your location shown in the app was collected.

Activate alarm
Your bike is equipped with a movement activated alarm. The bike is delivered with the alarm functionality turned off and you can activate it in the app under “Bike Settings”. Access bike settings by pressing the bike on the home screen.

Trigger alarm and play sound
You can use the “Trigger Alarm” functionality in the map view to manually trigger the alarm on the bike – if you e.g. suspect your bike has been stolen.
Using the “Play sound” feature available in the map view you can use the alarm buzzer to trigger a sound that e.g. lets you identify the bike in a crowded parking area.

Change cadence
To adjust the cadence of the bike, press the “Cadence” section on the home screen.

Remote disable
Your bike is equipped with a feature to disable it remotely. It will use the cellular connection to disable the possibility to unlock the bike even using the keys.
Use this function if you e.g. suspect your bike has been stolen together with the keys.
To access this function enter Bike settings and press “Remote disable”, use the same method to enable it again.

NOTE: The function uses cellular connectivity to access the bike. This feature will work even with the main battery removed as it relies on the tracking module’s backup battery. Keep in mind that this backup battery is limited and to ensure continued operation of the tracking functionality please connect the main battery once a week and keep it connected for at least an hour (for example during a ride).

Metric change on display
It is possible to change between Metric and Imperial measuring units in the display. Use the app to change this setting under “Bike settings” available by pressing the bike on the main page.

Riding

WARNING! Risk of personal injury.

  • There is no foot brake, remember that you control both the front and rear brakes from the handlebar. Left brake lever will engage the front wheel and the right brake lever will engage the rear wheel.
  • Risk of burns, stay clear of vehicle parts that are hot after usage.
  • When activating walk assist be careful since you might accidentally push the throttle down.
  • Do not use the battery handle to lift the bike, it is only designed to be used when carrying the battery.

Tips on range
Range estimates vary depending on the riding mode, riding style, battery setup, tire pressure, cargo load and more.

  • To extend range use ride mode reach.
  • When the battery reaches 0% the electrical assistance will stop.

Before every ride
For your safety, ensure that the vehicle is in perfect technical condition before every ride. Check the following:

  • The brakes function properly.
  • The tires and wheels are roadworthy.
  • Check that you have sufficient state of charge for your ride

NOTICE The key can be lost or stolen. Never leave the key in the steering lock keyhole.

Riding

  • When powering on the bike you will always start on ride mode Reach
  • To change ride mode, briefly push the start button and toggle between Reach, Efficiency, Power and Walk assist.
  • When activating the walk assist you will be able to use the thumb throttle up to 6km/h
  • Only valid for US! Thumb throttle is activated on all ride modes.
  • The bike is equipped with an integrated automatic shifting. The bike will shift for you, all you need to do is to set your preferred cadence (see 5.3) and you will always pedal with the same rpm no matter if you are going uphill or downhill.
  • When the vehicle is at a standstill (0 km/h / 0 mph) for 10 minutes, the vehicle automatically powers off

Cadence
Cadence is the number of pedal revolutions per minute (RPM). Via the app you can set your preferred pedal speed for most comfort.
The bike will always have a factory setting of 65 RPM. You can always go back to back on factory settings via the app

Light
Only valid if you have added the lights to the bike!
The bike is equipped with position light front, position light rear, brake light rear and turn signal front and rear. The lights are turned on by using the handlebar light controls, see fig 8

  • A Light on/off
  • B Turn signal left side
  • C Turn signal right side

Powering off/locking

  1. Bring the vehicle to a standstill.
  2. Push and hold the start button for 3 seconds. => Explore with respect briefly shown on the display. => The vehicle is deactivated and locked.
