WARNING

Playard

  • Infants can suffocate

    • ln gaps between a mattress too small or too thick and product sides
    • On soft bedding
  • Use only the mattress provided by manufacturer. Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or another mattress padding

  • Never use a water mattress with this product.
    WARNING: Failure to follow these warning and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.   • Keep play yard away from stoves, heaters, fireplaces, and other hazards which can cause injury to your child.

  • To reduce the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), pediatrician recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep unless otherwise advised by a physician.

  • DO NOT use in motor vehicle. Child can be seriously injured during an accident or sudden stop.

  • DO NOT move or fold play yard with child in it, child could get injured.

  • Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child.

  • When used for playing, never leave child unattended.

  • The playard including side rails, must be fully erected prior to use. Make sure latches are secure.

  • Strings can cause strangulation! NEVER place items with a string around a child’s neck such as hood strings or pacifier cords. NEVER suspend strings over playard or attach strings to toys.

  • DO NOT place more than one child in play yard.

  • FALL HAZARD — To help prevent falls, Discontinue use of the playard when child is able to climb out or has reached the height of 35 in. (890 mm) or weight of 33 lbs (15kg), whichever comes first.

  • When child is able to pull to standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.

  •  NEVER place product near a window where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.

  • Child can become entrapped and die when improvised netting or covers are placed on top of a play yard. Never add such items to confine child in playard.

  • NEVER use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers not sold and intended for that purpose. They can cause suffocation.

  • If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by the bassinet or cradle manufacturer or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of the bassinet or cradle mattress.

  • ALWAYS ensure that the playard is safe by checking regularly, before placing the child in it, that every part is properly and securely in place.

  • STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can lift changing table and get neck trapped between changing table and playard frame. Always remove the changing table when your child is in the playard.

  • NEVER use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loosejoints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric. Check before assembly and periodi- cally during use. Contact ELEMARA Customer Service for replacement parts, repair or instructions. NEVER substitute parts.
    Bassinet / Bedside sleeper

SUFFOCATION HAZARD

Babies Have Suffocated:

  • On pillows, comforters, and extra padding.
  • ln gaps between a wrong-size mattress, or extra padding and product sides.
  • NEVER add soft bedding or padding. – Use ONLY the mattress/pad provided by Manufacturer.

  • To prevent death from entrapment, beside sleeper must be properly secured to adult bed using the attachment system. (1). There must be no more than 0.5 in.(13mm) gap between bedside sleeper and adult bed. (2). Check tightness before each use by pulling bedside sleeper in a direction away from adult bed. (3). If gap exceeds 0.5 in.(13mm). DO NOT use product. Do not fill the gap with pillows, blankets or other items that are suffocation hazards.
  • This bedside sleeper is designed for use only with adult beds that are between 20 and 30 inches from floor to top of adult mattress.
  • A bedside sleeper is designed to provide a sleeping area for an infant until he or she begins to push up on hands and knees or approximately 5 months of age. Please stop using the bedside sleeper mode when your child reaches this stage.

    Changing Table

WARNING

FALL HAZARD: Children have suffered serious injuries after falling from changing area. Falls can happen quickly.

  • STAY within arms reach.

  • Read all instruction before use of this product.

  • Do not use changing area if it is damaged or broken.

  • Maximum weight limit for the changing table is 19.8 lbs (9kg).

  • Use changing area only on this playard model.

  • ALWAYS secure this unit to the support frame by attaching to identified location. Before each use, check the attachment by grasping the sides/ends of the changing area, and pulling upward. See instructions.

  • Do not use on the floor, bed, counter or other surfaces.
    Suffocation Hazard: Babies have suffocated while sleeping on changing area: changing area is not safe for sleep.

  • NEVER allow baby to sleep on changing area.
    Strangulation Hazard: Child can lift changing area and get neck trapped between changing area and playard frame. Always remove the changing area when your child is in the playard.

WARNING

Strangulation Hazard

Always attach the product securely. If the product is not secured, child in play yard/non-full size crib can lift or shift the product and get neck trapped between the product and non-full size crib/play yard frame.

  • Possible entanglement or strangulation injury. Keep out of baby’s reach. Remove toy when baby begins to push up on hands and knees. Recommended use from birth to 5 months. This toy is not intended to be “mouthed” by the baby and should be positioned clearly out of reach of the baby’s face and mouth.
  • On bassinet with adjustable mattress levels, the highest position may allow the toy to be too close to the baby. The second or lower position is more appropriate.
  • The drop side of the crib should never be lowered with the toy in place and the baby left unattended. Always attach all provided fasteners(strings, straps,- clamps,etc.) tightly to a crib or playpen according to the instructions. Check frequently.
  • Do not add additional strings or straps to attach to a crib or playpen.

Cleaning

FRAME
To clean the plastic parts or metal parts of the product , wipe with a solution of mild soap and water. Do not use bleach. Keep the feet and underside of the playard free of sand and abrasive grit. Avoid getting oil or lubricants on the plastic parts, as this can damage the plastic.

FABRIC
To clean the fabric of your ELEMARA product , spot-clean with a solution of mild soap and water. Do not use bleach.

To Unfold

NOTES: Please follow the instructions step by step. Do not push down the center bottom base until all top bars are locked and rigid.

  1. Place the Playard vertically and open the  three nylon sticking belts.

  2. Unfold the mattress pad used for the base plates.

  3. Draw upward the four side rails separately, starting with the short sides first and lift the middle joint up to completely expand it. When completely expanded you will hear a click sound.

    NOTES: While keeping the bassinet bottom base high, please try to pull the short bars and the long bars quickly and avoid to grab the center unlocking mechanisms.
    NOTES: If a top bar does not lock into place, pull the base higher and try again.

  4. Completely flatten the middle part of the center of the Playard, along with the tubes on the bottom of the Playard.

Bassinet

  1. Install the Bassinet in the inside of the playpen with all the zippers and then stick on velcro.

  2. Support tubes into the sleeve provided on the bottom of bassinet and connect them together.

  3. Put the sheet over the mattress and put the two Velcro fasteners at each end of the mattress through the holes in the sheet.

  4. Put two tapes under mattress/pad through red lock hole, open the zipper on each side mesh and fasten all tapes with velcro on the back of second layer through the door on side mesh.

Playard

Place the mattress at the bottom of the playard, with the soft side facing up. Thread the Velcro straps on the bottom of the mattress, through the fabric of the playard to fasten the both together.

Blackout cover

Simply throw it over the top of the playard – pull down around the sides and attach the bottom stretchable straps securely around the playard’s feet.

Toy gym

  1. Assemble all toy gym parts together.

  2. Attach the toy gym by sliding the connecting toy gym base over the top rail of the playard.

Storage

  1. Put the two plastic hooks into the corresponding holes.

  2. Put the storage’s two plastic hooks fix to the handrail of the playard.

  1. Take out all the accessories of changing table. Let the two long tubes through the changing table.

  2. Let the two short tubes through the changing table as picture.

  3. Connect the short tube and the long tube as picture. Repeat the same procedure for others tube end.

  4. Put the changing table to the top rails and make it correctly locked in position. Connect the locker bars on the playard bars and push down to lock. You can close the zipper on the side of the changing table and the side of the bassinet for storage the table or saftey usage.

NOTES: Please make sure that the buckle is installed when the baby is lying on the changing table. Assemble the straps according to the size of the baby.

Bedside sleeper

Height adjustment zipper position instruction

There are 3 height positions: Highest position, second position, and lowest position. The lowest position is under the second layer.

Open the zipper to the second position as step 1; Open the highest position zipper change to match the second position zipper as step 2

Press the button 1 then pull up button 2 of the both sides at the same time, then push down to second height position.

Lowest postion adjustment instruction

Open the zip to the lowest position as step 1, change the zipper to the lowest position zipper as step 2.

Press the button 1 then pull up button 2 of the both sides at the same time, then push down to lowest height position.

Note: The left and right side plastic connector pieces must be slid down at the same time, so that the top rail can be lowered smoothly.

The zipper should be adjusted in all parts of the process without any gap!

WARNING

The attachment system must ALWAYS be used in bedside sleeper mode.

To avoid death from the infant’s neck being caught on the top rail on the side that is next to the adult bed, the lowered portion of the top rail must be no higher than the adult bed mattress.

TO FOLD

STEP1
Remove the mattress from the bottom base.

STEP2
Rotate the center handle counter clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the legs and wheels together towards the center as close as possible so that they nearly touch.

STEP3
Bottom base must be up.

  1. Lift up slightly on the top rail.
  2. Push on the button located on the side of the top rail to release the long tubes.
  3. Push down.
  4. Repeat steps on top rails on the short sides.

If top rails do not unlatch, DO NOT FORCE. Lift the bottom base higher.

Both tubes must be released in right position for the top rail to fold

STEP4
Fold the bassinet.

STEP5
If unit will not fold, DO NOT FORCE. Please look for the partially latched top rail, squeeze the latch button to release the rail again.

STEP6
Wrap the mattress around the unit. There are Velcro straps that feed through plastic loops attached to the back side of the mattress. Pull taut.

NOTE: Do not cover the top corner plastic brackets inside the mattress, do as shown.
