Before first use

Installation steps

  1. Install the power cable, or you can install dry batteries at the same time (batteries need to be purchased separately). You can also continue feeding after power failure.

  2. Put the stainless steel feeding bowl into the plastic feeding bowl.

  3. Lift the base body and align it with the feeding bowl slot and install it.

  4. Ensure that the lock key of the base grain drum is “” align and install the grain drum (Pay attention to the front and rear positions of the grain drum).

  5. After loading, turn the lock key of the grain drum to lock it

  6. Put the desiccant inside the back of the grain bucket lid and then fasten the desiccant cover.

  7. Align the grain drum cover with the grain drum and press down the edges to ensure a tight fit.

  8. Open the lid of the bucket if you need to add food.

  9. Standby power supply: You need to purchase 3pcs AA batteries, and open the battery compartment at the bottom of the fuselage base, and then cover them.

Button and indicator light description

  • Press and hold the recording button for 1 second to hear a “beep” sound and start recording. Release the button to hear two “beep beep” sounds, indicating the completion of recording. The maximum recording time is 10 seconds.

  • Feeding button. Press once to dispense one portion of food. The device will play the recording while operating (re-recording required after factory reset).

  • Reset button. Press and hold the WiFi symbol button for 5 seconds to hear a “beep” sound, indicating a factory reset.

Blue indicator light

  1. Blinking: Waiting for connecting/connecting in progress.
  2. Constantly ON : Successfully connected.

Red indicator light

  1. Blinking: Low battery voltage, please replace the battery.
  2. Constantly ON: Machine malfunction.

Power on

  1. Connect the feeder to a wall outlet with the power adapter and power cable, and it automatically turns on.
  2. Install 3pcs AA batteries into the baler compartment in case of a power outage.

Notes

  1. When powered by the battery only, Wi-Fi functionality is disabled, but the feeding schedule continues as planned. (follow the previously set feeding plan before the power outage)
  2. To prevent sudden power outages from affecting your pet’s feeding schedule. it is advised not to rely solely on batteries as the only power source. Batteries should be used as an emergency backup plan only.
  3. When using the power adapter, power cord, and batteries simultaneously, the feeding device will only draw power from the power cord.

Power off

Unplug the cable from the outlet and remove the batteries.

APP INSTALL

  1. Scan the QR code below or search “Tuya Smart” in the App Store or Google Play to download the app.
  2. Sign up and log into your account.

Network Selection

  1. The feeder only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
  2. Keep the feeder close to your router for a better Wi-Fi connection.

The ideal range is within 6m (19.7ft) without obstacles and walls. Scan the QR code to learn how to select the 2.4G network.

Automatically Connect Devices

Turn on the Bluetooth, WIFI and location services on your phone before. adding a device.

Method 1

Step 1. Open the APP and the device will automatically appear. Click “Add” to connect it. (If the operation is successful, proceed to step 3, if not successful, follow step 2.)

Method 2

Step 2. If it doesn’t appear, click on “Add Device” and then click on “Add”. (If the operation is not successful, please skip to page 11.)

Step 3. Enter the 2.4GHz WIFI account and password, then click “Next”. (If connected, proceed to step four.)

Manually Connect Devices

If the app can’t find any devices, you can manually add the device. Step 1. Click on “Add Device and then select “Small Home Appliances”. Scroll down and click on “Pet Feeder (WIFI)”.

Step 2. Enter the 2.4GHz WIFI account and password, then click “Next”.

Step 3. Please check if the device’s blue light is blinking. If it’s not, please restart the device. If the blue light is blinking, click on “Confirm the indicator is blinking”, then click on “Blink Quickly”. Connection successfully established.

Step 4. Connection established. Click “Done” to enter the setup homepage.

Set Feeding Schedule

  1. Click on “Meal Plan” and then click on “Add” to create a feeding schedule.

  2. Select the feeding time, feeding days, feeding portions, and click on “Save”.

  3. You can set up to 10 feeding tasks per day. Follow the instructions above to set up the tasks

  4. Swipe left and click on “Delete Time” to remove the task.

  5. To feed immediately, swipe left or right to select the portions and click on “Feed” to initiate the feeding.

Attention

  • Do not mix new and old batteries or use different models of batteries together.
  • Replace the standby batteries promptly when they are depleted to avoid electrolyte leakage and damage to the product.
  • If not used for a long time, please remove the battery to avoid battery electrolyte leakage.
  • Avoid dropping from a high place or subjecting it to severe impact.
  • Do not exert excessive pressure and do not place it on an uneven surface.
  • Do not dismantle the base of the device, as disassembling will void the warranty.
  • After use, dismantle the grain drum cover, grain drum, and stainless steel bowl for cleaning. After cleaning, wait for them to dry before reassembling.
  • The base body and outer parts can be wiped with a cloth, but do not immerse it in water for cleaning.
  • Do not use solvents such as alcohol or toluene to clean this product to avoid damage.
