DEAR PARENTS

Congratulations on your purchase of the 3 in 1 bedside crib of the company BABY DESIGN GROUP. Your child will most certainly sleep feeling safe and comfortable, and will enjoy it.
IMPORTANT – KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: READ CAREFULLY.

  1. ELEMENTS:
    1- mattress, 2- upholstery, 3- safety bar, 4- height adjustment button, 5- plastic handle of the crib, 6- floor, 7- support, 8- telescope leg, 9- legs connecting element, 10– wheel with a locking element, 11- assembly tape -2 pcs, 12- bottom with supports

  2. BABY COT
    Connect telescopic legs using legs connecting element sliding it into side openings in the telescope legs. Make sure the locking mechanisms at the ends of the connecting element prevent it from accidental sliding out.

  3. Slide both supports into the openings on the upper part of telescopic legs. Make sure the locking mechanism at the ends of the supports prevent them from accidental sliding out.

  4. NOTE! Window of the baby cot (the upper exit) should be on the same side as telescopic legs (which is the legs whose length can be adjusted).

  5. Make sure the bottom is properly assembled in the baby cot and that it is positioned at the upper level. If not, lift the bottom of the baby cot to the upper level, zip both external fixing zippers (1) and secure their ends with buckles (2) to prevent from accidental unzipping.

  6. Assemble the bottom inside the baby cot together with supports and secure the ending of its zipper with a metal securing ring. Place the mattress inside the baby cot.

  7. To change the height of the baby cot, simultaneously lift both buttons of the height adjustment located on its shorter sides and set the baby cot to a desired position.
    NOTE! Both sides of the baby cot should be on the same height.

  8. NOTE! If the baby cot is not assembled to the adult bed, the securing bar should be always assembled to the frame of the baby cot (in the upper position)!

  9. BEDSIDE CRIB

  10. Disassemble the securing bar releasing the locking mechanisms from the endings of both zippers and unzip them.

  11. Move the locking mechanism of the securing bar inside the crib and at the same time lift the bumper bar sliding it up from the guide. Repeat the steps on the other side of the safety bar.

  12. Roll down the securing bar together with the upholstery and insert its plastic endings in rubbers on the lower part of the window (exit).
    NOTE: To assemble the securing bar on the frame of the baby cot (in the upper position), repeat steps described in items 10, 11 and 12 in the reverse order.

  13. Adjust the height of the bedside crib to the mattress. Maximum difference in between the levels of the bottom edge of the window (exit) of the bedside crib and the upper edge of the mattress of the adult bed should be 2 cm.

  14. Fix the fixing tape to the baby cot using the buckle (l). Pull the second end of the fixing tape through the frame of the adult bed (2) and slide it in the second buckle of the fixing tape (3) creating a loop around the frame of the adult bed. Repeat on the other side.
    Move the bedside crib to the matters of the adult bed as close as possible (they should adhere to one another) and eliminate any loose parts on the fixing tapes by pulling the protruding tapes of both fixing tapes (the loops around the frame of the adult bed should not be loose).
    NOTE! Before putting the child inside the bedside crib make sure that the crib is properly fixed to the adult bed, that fixing tapes are properly tightened and make it impossible for the bedside crib to move away from the adult bed, as well as that the crib adheres to the mattress and that the window (exit) is at an appropriate height.

  15. Insert the protruding parts of the fixing tapes in the pockets located under the bedside crib.

  16. To shorten the telescope leg, press the button (1) and slide it inside.
    NOTE! The telescope leg slides out automatically to its longest position.

  17. PLAYPEN
    Position the baby cot at the lowest position: “1 “.

  18. Remove the mattress. Pull the end part of the zipper of the bottom with the brackets out of the securing mechanism (1), unzip the zipper securing the bottom to the baby cot (2) and then slide it out of the baby cot.

  19. Open the buckles securing the baby cot bottom in the upper position, unzip both zippers and push the bottom of the playpen down.

  20. Insert plastic handles of the playpen located above its bottom on the legs connecting elements.
    NOTE! Make sure the bottom is properly secured to the legs connecting elements by trying to slightly lift it.

  21. Put the mattress on the bottom.
    NOTE! To return to the baby cot function, repeat steps described in items 10, 11, 12 13, 14, 15 in the reverse order.

  22. WHEELS WITH BRAKES
    The product is equipped with wheels to freely move it. Each wheel is equipped with a parking brake. To release the brake – lift the lever at the wheel. To engage the brake ­ press the lever so it is in the bottom position.
    NOTE! Do not change the position of the product if the child is inside of it – wheels can be released only to change the product position – at any other case, engage the brake on each wheel.

CLEANING AND OPERATION

Plastic parts of the baby cot can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use strong washing agents.
Clean metal parts with a dry cloth, removing dust and water.
The upholstery and mattress of the baby cot may only be hand washed at 30 degrees using gentle washing agents, best washing liquids.
Check periodically if all elements of the baby cot are operational and safe.
Do not use the baby cot if any element is missing or in case any element is damaged or torn.

NOTE

  • Long exposure of the baby cot to sunlight may cause fading of fabrics. Complaints arising from the above will not be accepted.

  • Do not leave the baby cot nearby the sources of heat (heaters, blowers, etc.).
    It may cause damage to plastic parts.

  • To ensure you are satisfied with the quality our product, Baby Design Group Sp z o.o. sp. k.
    reserves the right to make changes in the design of the cot without the obligation to inform buyers.

  • Repairs due to negligence in care for the product will be performed against fee – BABY DESIGN GROUP SP. Z 0.0. SP. K. is not liable for any damage to property or injuries arising from the assembly and use of the product, including its protective and securing elements, which is not compliant with instructions and recommendations of the manufacturer covered by this user manual.

 WARNING

NOTE – In order to avoid the risk of suffocation of the child with the tape fixing the baby cot to the adult bed, the fixing tape should be always away from the baby cot.
NOTE – When changing the height of the baby cot, always make sure that the inclination angle of the base of the baby cot (between the left and right side of the baby cot) is not greater than 1 Oo, i.e. that the level difference between the left and right side of the baby cot is less than or equal to “2”.

WARNING – Do not use the playpen without the base.
WARNING — Ensure that the playpen is fully erected and all the locking mechanism engaged before placing your child in this playpen.
The playpen is intended for children up to 36 months, weighting up to 15 kg.
The base should always be used in the lowest position as soon as the child is old enough to sit, kneel or to pull itself up. Lower floor level is the safest.
Never leave any object inside the product and do not place the product near another equipment which could be used as a support for the foot or which could cause danger of suffocation or hanging by the child, e.g. wires, curtains/blinds strings. Remember about the risk of leaving anything in the playpen which could provide a foothold or create a danger of suffocation or strangulation. Child can fall out of the play yard. All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly. Do not use the playpen if any part is broken, torn or missing. Use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer. Accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer shall not be used. EN 12227:2010 ***

Young children should not be allowed to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the crib. The crib should be locked in the fixed position when the child is left unattended. All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and care should be taken that no screws are loose, because a child could trap parts of the body or clothing (e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies’ dummies, etc.), which would pose a risk of strangulation. Maximum thickness of the mattress
is 30mm. Be aware of the risk of burning cigarettes, open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the crib.
DO NOT use crib if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact Baby Design Group Sp. Z o.o. Sp. K. for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.
WARNING — Only use the mattress sold with this crib, do not add second mattress on this one, suffocation hazards. Maximum weight of the child using the crib: 9 kg.
BEDSIDE CRIB:
DO NOT use a bedside sleeper in any parts are missing, damaged, or broken.
Contact Baby Design Group Sp. Z o.o. Sp. K. for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.
Maximum distance between adult’s bed and bedside sleeper’s exit is 2cm.
Use only attachment system provided with the product. Do not use other attachment system. Bedside sleepers shall not be used in an inclined position.
To prevent a suffocation hazard from entrapment, the bedside sleeper shall be properly secured to the adult bed using the attachment system.
There shall never be a gap between lower side of the bedside sleeper and the mattress of the adult bed. Check the tightness of the attachment system before each use by pulling the bedside sleeper in a direction away from the adult bed. If there is any gap between the bedside sleeper and the adult bed DO NOT use the product. Gaps should not be filled with pillows, blankets or other items.
DANGER – Always completely raise the drop side when not attached to the adult’s bed.

Product is intended for one child only. Always lock the wheels.
Do not leave the child unattended. The upper supports must not be used on the lowest level. Never leave inside the product any object, which can cause the child to suffocate of choke. Product is not a toy! Do not let your child climb on it. If the product tips over on the child it may cause serious injury.
Check regularly if whether all the components are in good working order and safe. Mind your finger when folding and unfolding the product.
Never put a product on the elevation. Never put the product near electric sockets, hanging cables, tables covered with tablecloths, etc. Before putting the child into the product, make sure that the floor has been unfolded completely.
Do not put additional mattress inside the product. Accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer shall not be used.
Baby Design Group Sp. Z o.o. Sp. K. cannot be held liable for any damage to property or personal injury caused by assembly or use the product incompliant with the manufacturer’s instructions or recommendations included in this manual. Before using the products each time, make sure that it is in perfect working order and that all its functions operate properly.
If you find any defects, do not use the product and contact the Baby Design Group Sp. Z o.o. Sp. K. service team or the sales outlet.
Always assemble all protective and safety components of the product according to user manual. To ensure maximum safety, keep your child at the safe distance from movable elements of the product when you fold it or unfold it. Do not use the product without upholstery and mattress as they are the integral parts of it.
