lighting effects allowing you to enjoy music from any Bluetooth audio source
or external analog audio sources.

Unpacking
Each SPERO 10 is built to the highest standard and thoroughly inspected before leaving the factory. Upon arrival, carefully inspect the packaging. If you find any damage, immediately notify the retailer or shipping company. Check that the following parts are supplied within the package:

Connectivity
The SPERO 10 features wireless Bluetooth connectivity. Physical audio and
power connections can be made via ports located on the rear face of the base.
Getting Started
Connecting the Power
- Connect and appropriate USB-C, 2A fast charge cable to the charging port
- The charger should be capable 2A@ 5V)
Power Control
Press and Hold the power button for 3 seconds to power ON/OFF the product
AUX Line-In Mode
To use the SPERO 10 as an active loudspeaker, simply connect the 3.5mm audio
cable from your music source to the Aux input connection and start playing
music
Bluetooth Mode for Music Streaming
To use the Bluetooth speaker, please follow these simple steps:
- Make sure the speaker and your Bluetooth-enabled device such as a smartphone or tablet are no more than 1 meter (3ft) away
- To initiate the pairing process:
- press the Bluetooth button on the SPERO 10 base
- Enable your mobile device’s Bluetooth function and set the device to search for nearby Bluetooth devices
- After the search is completed, select the SPERO 10 from the Bluetooth device list
- Once paired, the SPERO 10 will announce the “Pairing Successful” jingle. Ensure the SPERO 10 and your Bluetooth-enabled device are always within a 10-meter (30ft) distance to ensure stable connectivity (obstacles could shorten the wireless range)

The SPERO 10 delivers pristine sound and exciting visual lighting effects. Both sound and lighting controls are accessible on the base of the product and customizable through the iOS and Android mobile applications.

Power Switch
To toggle ON/OFF the SPERO 10 PRESS AND HOLD for 3s
When the SPERO 10 power is turned on, it will announce the “Power On” jingle.
When the SPERO 10 power is turned off, it will announce the “Power Off”
jingle.
Audio Controls

Volume Decrease
Step volume down: SINGLE PRESS
Auto-increment volume down: CONTINUOUS PRESS -
Bluetooth
Enter pairing mode: SINGLE PRESS -
Volume Increase
Step volume up: SINGLE PRESS
Auto-increment volume up: CONTINUOUS PRESS
Audio Level Display
The volume level can only be adjusted while the Bluetooth audio is streaming
or while an external 3.5mm audio cable is inserted. The volume level is
visually displayed as an illuminated volume level indicator on the front-
center edge when the volume level had been modified.
Lighting Controls
The SPERO 10 has a variety of built-in entertainment lighting presets to suit
the user’s mood.
Paint lighting mode has seven predefined colors that can be cycled through.
The last preset will disable the lighting effects. This is the “lighting off”
mode.
For an ultimate lighting control experience, download the companion mobile
applications for iOS or Android for complete flexibility and customization of
the lighting effects such as; brightness control, custom user-defined colors
and more!

True Wireless Stereo Pairing Mode
The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) technology uses Bluetooth signals to enable two
individual speakers to operate as a single wireless Stereo Pair.
Stereo Pairing should be initiated after first pairing one of the SPERO 10
speakers with your prefered music device.
During the Stereo Pairing process, the speakers will “beep” every 5 seconds
until they connect to one another. The SPERO 10 will continue to attempt the
stereo pairing process for 200 seconds.
When the two SPEREO lO’s successfully pair with each other, they will announce
the “Successfully Pairing” jingle.
If the SPEREO lO’s are unable to connect with its companion speaker, it will
exit the Stereo Pairing automatically and announce the “Pair Failed” jingle.
Enter Stereo Pairing Mode
Simultaneously Press and Hold the Bluetooth and Volume Increase buttons together for 3 seconds until a Blue-Pulsing pattern is illuminated on the SPERO 10 Do this process on both speakers
Successful Stereo Pairing
Once each of the SPERO lOs have successfully connected to one another, they
will indicate their connection status of either a left or right audio signal
by illuminating the appropriate corner White color If Wrong Indication
If after successful pairing you notice the SPERO lO’s have the wrong lighting
indication, this means you need to physically swap thier position
Stereo Pairing Removal
If you would like the Stereo Paired SPERO l0’s to become independent again,
you can perform the disconnection process by simultaneously pressing the
Volume Increase and Volume Decrease buttons together at the same time.
The speakers are successfully disconnected from one another when you hear the
announcement of the “Pairing Removed” jingle.
Bluetooth Dual Pairing
The SPERO 10 supports Bluetooth multipoint technology allowing to pair up to
two different Bluetooth sources to the SPERO 10 at the same time. This allows
the user to switch between two connected music sources easily.
Connect the two Bluetooth sources to the SPERO 10 one at a time.
Then to switch between sources, simply pause the audio stream on one source
and start playing on the other. Only one source can stream music at a time.
USB Audio Device
The SPERO 10 supports USB audio streaming through the USB-C port when
connected to a Personal Computer.
Connect a USB-C data cable to the USB-C port on the rear face of the base.
Choose the SPERO 10 as the computer’s audio output source/ playback device in
the Control Panel to enjoy 48kbps Music Streaming.
Battery Level
The SPERO 10 has a built-in visual battery level indicator located around the
perimeter of the USB-C port on the rear face of the base.
The battery level is indicated by steady or breathing color indications on the
USB-C charging port.
If the USB-C Fast Charger is connected, the battery level will display at all
times.
When the product is operating solely on battery power, the battery level can
be checked and viewed for 10 seconds by pressing any of the function buttons
on the base of the SPERO 10.
If the battery becomes lower than 20% it is recommended to connect the USB-C
Fast Charger and let the SPERO 10 become fully charged before removing the
charger for portable use.
If the battery becomes lower than the allowed limit for continuous operation,
the SPERO 10 will announce “Battery Low” and automatically power off when the
battery becomes completely empty.
Auto Volume Limit
In order to maximize the portable playing time, the SPERO 10 incorporates a
maximum volume limit. When the battery has fallen below the 20% remaining
battery level threshold, the maximum volume will automatically be reduced to
70%.
Charging the speaker again will reset the maximum volume limit to 100%.
Auto Brightness Limit
When the SPERO lO’s connection to the USB-C Fast Charger is removed, the
products maximum entertainment lighting brightness is limited to 70%.
This feature extends the portable playing time.
The entertainment lighting becomes completely disabled when the remaining battery level falls below the 20% level threshold.
Charging the speaker again will return the entertainment lighting brightness to its maximum brightness limit of 100%.
Charging
The SPERO lO’s build-in rechargeable battery allows you to enjoy and bring
your music with you without wires.
To charge the SPERO 10, supply and connect your own USB-C 2A Fast Charger.
(Fast Charger and USB-C Cable are not included)
Connect the Charger
When the battery charger is connected to the SPERO 10, the illuminated battery
level indicator will breath amber color to indicate the charging is in
progress.
Once the charging of the SPERO 10 has completed, the battery level indicator
will glow steady green color.
Firmware Update
The SPERO lO’s User Experience may be updated using software updates provided
by DUOMONDI.
In order to update your SPERO 10 you will need a USB-C data cable to be
connected to a personal computer running Windows 10 (or higher version) and
the USB Updater Program which can be downloaded from the product support page.

Connect a USB-C data cable to the charger port located on the SPERO 10 base

Connect the USB cable to your Windows 10 or higher personal computer

Now you can run the User Experience Windows Updater Application. During the update process the front edge LED light shows different lighting effects according to the updating progress:

Using the User Experience Windows Updater Application , select the specific features you wish to update then press the UPDATE Button. The Updating Process takes approximately;
Total Time -4.5 to 6 Minutes -
Watch the Updating Progress on the SPERO 10. The blue waving pattern indicates the update is in progress

The final step requires the user to perform a manual hardware reset. Once the upload has completed the Windows Updater Application will instruct you when it is safe to remove the USB cable from the SPERO 10. Removing the USB connection will reset the device.
(Failure to remove the USB cable will result in an incomplete update.) -
After removing the USB cable, you can now power on the SPERO 10 to finalize the updating process.
Upgrade Complete
Cancel Firmware Update
- Remove all connections from the SPERO 10 base.
- Power Cycle the SPERO 10 by long pressing the Power button until it resumes normal operation.
Factory Reset

Remove all connections from the SPERO 10 base.

While the SPERO 10 is powered on and with all cables removed, Press and Continue to Hold both the PAINT and POWER buttons together until you hear 2 tones and the SPERO 10 automatically powers off.

Turn on the SPERO 10 again and the product will return to its factory default settings.
Factory Defaults- Reset the displayed color to Teal
- Reset the paired devices list
- Reset the Aux-In volume level
- Reset the LED brightness to full
- Reset the User EQ to optimal Factory Reset Complete
My Spero Mobile Phone App
The My Spero Mobile Phone App gives you ultimate control and fexibility of the
SPERO angular sound light system. The App Consists of convenient lighting
controls, audio tonality adjustment and user customization of all
entertainment features.

them as favorites at the top of the preset menu

To obtain service:
- Please have the serial number of the unit available for reference.

- You will be contacted back for online servicing.
- If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, you may be required to send the unit in for service. In this instance, you will be provided with an RA (Return Authorization) number which should be included on all shipping documents and correspondence regarding the repair. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Any attempt to modify or replace components of the device will void your warranty. Service must be performed by an authorized DUOMONDI service center.
Cleaning
Use only a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing. Do not use any solvents,
chemicals, or cleaning solutions containing alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives. Do
not use any sprays near the product or allow liquids to spill into any
openings.
