ON/OFF button

  • I (start) position: Move the switch handle to the “run” position to start the engine.
  • O (off) position: The switch knob is placed in the “off” position to turn off the generator set.
  • Place in the choke position to start the equipment cold. Once the engine starts, return the switch to position “I” within 5 seconds after starting.

Oil alert light (yellow)
When the oil in the crankcase drops below the safety line, the oil protection system will automatically shut down the engine and the oil alarm indicator will light up; The engine can be restarted only after adding oil up to the proper oil level.

NOTE: If the engine is stalled or cannot be started, turn the control switch to the “on” position and then pull the starter handle. If the oil alarm indicator flashes for a few seconds, the oil capacity is insufficient. Add oil and restart.

Overload indicator (red)
When the overload light is on or flashing, it means that the equipment connected to the generator requires more power than the generator can provide. It can also indicate other problems such as the engine motor has been over- revved, and it is shorting out.

Operation indicator (green)
The green light is always on, indicating that the generator set is working normally. If the red light is blinking or always on, determine the cause of the failure based on the type of blinking.

If this indicator lights up, the equipment will stop or stop generating electricity, to protect both the connected devices and the generator itself. If the running indicator (green light) is off and the overload indicator (red light) keeps on, the motor will not stop.

Trouble sign
When the overload indicator is on and does not generate output electricity:

  1. Turn off the connected equipment, and turn off the generator engine next.
  2. Make sure that the sum of the power of all the connected equipment is below the power of the gene-rator.
  3. Check that the air intake is not blocked and that there are no foreign bodies and damaged parts among the parts involved.
  4. After following the steps above, turn the computer back on.

Other information that the inverter generator will be showing us through its light indicators will be:

  1. If the green light stays on and the red light flashes: it means that there is output voltage but there is a little overload.
  2. If the green light is off, and the red light has a flashing frequency of 2.5 seconds: it means that there is no output voltage due to overload protection.
  3. If the green light is off, and the red light flashes 2 times every 2.5 seconds: it means that there is a short circuit and there will be no output voltage.
  4. If the green light is off, and the red light flashes 3 times every 2.5 seconds: it means that the temperatu-re of the controller is too high, and the user should cut off the voltage output.
  5. If the green light is off, and the red light flashes 4 times every 2.5 seconds: it means the motor speed is too low, and the user needs to cut off the voltage output.
  6. If the green light is off, and the red light stays on: it means that the power of the equipment is insuffi-cient for what is connected and the output voltage has been interrupted.

Reset and energy saving mode (ECO)

  1. When a generator protection system has been activated, and we have already identified the problem and solved it, we will need to press the Reset button to generate output voltage again. If the fault has been fully resolved the green run light will remain on and the red overload lights will neither flash nor stay on.
  2. When the generator is in low workload mode (output power is below 75% of rated power), activate energy saving mode by pressing the ECO switch.
  3. When the output voltage of the generator is above 75% of the rated power, turn off the energy saving mode by pressing the ECO switch again.

Ground terminal
The ground terminal is connected to the ground wire to prevent electric shock. When electrical equip-ment is grounded, the generator must also be grounded.

Pre-Operation Check

Please perform the following steps before using the machine to ensure the proper functioning of the unit. Otherwise, it may damage the equipment and shorten its life.
CAUTION: The engine and muffler will get very hot once the generator starts. Avoid coming into contact with both parts before they cool down, during inspection and repair operations.

Check oil level
NOTE : Perform this operation with the generator on (not running).

If the pilot light comes on when pulling the starter cord, the oil level is insufficient and the generator will not start.

CAUTION: Note that starting the engine with too much or too little oil can permanently damage the generator. The capacity of the oil tank is 0.35L.
ATTENTION: The generator comes from the factory without oil.

To check the oil level, first unscrew the cover piece so that the oil reservoir cap can be unscrewed. Add oil until the level is at point A, as shown in the figure.

CAUTION: Use the recommended oil according to the temperature range of your area:

Check fuel level
ATTENTION: If the fuel level is insufficient the generator will not start.
CAUTION: Do not add fuel up to the mouth of the tank, leave room for expansion. Failure to do so could result in a fire or explosion.
CAUTION: Do not add gasoline and oil mixture used for 2-stroke engines. Do not use old fuel. Do not allow dirt to enter the tank, such as dust, water, etc. Drain the fuel tank and carburetor if you are not going to use it for a long period of time, as the fuel degrades and you may find it difficult to start the engine later.

  1. Fuel is flammable and toxic. Please read the information on handling and hazards carefully.
  2. It is not recommended to overfill the fuel as it may spill out when the fuel tank gets hot. Do not exceed the level indicated in the figure on the right.
  3. Immediately wipe up any fuel that has fallen on the top surface of the generator during refueling.
  4. Make sure that the tank cap has been properly tightened.
  5. Use lead-free gasoline. Leaded gasoline can seriously damage internal engine parts.

Air filter
Remove the air filter cover and remove the foam filter. If the filter is broken, replace it with a new one and if it is dirty, clean it.

Filter cleaning:

  1. Wash the filter foam with water.
  2. Add oil to the foam and squeeze out the excess. The filter should remain wet but should not drip. Do not twist the foam to drain, to avoid breakage of the foam.
  3. Return the filter to its position.

Air filter element

  • ATTENTION: Make sure that the surface of the foam is in closed contact with the air filter and that there are no possible leaks.
  • DANGER: Do not start the engine without installing the air filter. Toxic gases resulting from abnormal combustion of the engine are hazardous to health, and using the equipment in a dirty environment can cause wear on the cylinder due to dust particles.

Before using the product, perform the following initial checks:

  • Check the temperature
  • Check the motor oil level (10W-30 or 15W-40)
  • Check the air filter element

Do not connect any electrical equipment before starting the genera-tor.

  1. Make sure that the fuel tank opening switch is in the ON position.

  2. Set the roulette of the starting switch to the Choke position (if the generator has been recently started and is still hot, it can be set to the ON position directly). Pull the starter choke until the combustion sound is continuous.
WARNING: After starting the engine, the handle must be released carefully to avoid personal injury and damage to the equipment itself due to rebound.

  3. Turn the roulette of the ignition switch to the ON position within 5 seconds after the first combustion.

ATTENTION: If it does not start, check oil and/or fuel level.

Generator Use

Grounding
Always have the unit grounded to avoid possible electrocution.
DANGER: Electrocution hazard. Failure to ground the generator can cause a shock and electrocute you.

Overload protection
The generator will automatically shut down in the event of an overload. Check the operating and overload indicators to get a more accurate diagnosis of what is happening to the equipment. Go to page 25.
WARNING: Electric motors need more voltage than the marked to start. Be sure not to exceed the output range of the generator when connected to a load.

Connection sequence
If there are 2 or more items that need charging from the power generator, be sure to connect them one by one, starting with the one that draws the most current, followed by the 2nd until you reach the one that needs the least.

Connection modes
DANGER: Do not use the generator inside an enclosed space. The gases emitted can cause damage and intoxication to the people living in the same space, even causing them to lose consciousness in a short period of time. Please use in a well ventilated room.
ATTENTION: The generator can operate at its rated output only if the temperature is constant and appropriate. In addition, operating within a small space may result in reduced efficiency due to overheating.

Environmental conditions and their impact on the output power modification coefficient:
