Safety in the work zone
- Keep the work area clean and tidy. An untidy and poorly lit work area leads to accidents.
- Do not use the tool in potentially hazardous environments containing fuel, gases or dust. The tools generate sparks that could ignite gases or dust.
- Keep children and others away when operating a tool. A distraction can cause the operator to lose control of the tool.
Personal safety
- Stay alert, focus on what you are doing and use common sense when using a tool. Do not use a tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. When working with a tool, lack of concentration can cause serious personal injury.
- Always wear safety equipment and eye protection (safety glasses). Safety equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid shoes, hard hat and ear protection will reduce the risk of personal injury.
- Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure the switch is in the off position before connecting the tool to the compressed air supply. Loading tools with your finger on the switch or connecting tools that have the switch in the “on” position is an accident-prone position.
- Remove any adjusting key before starting the tool. Any wrench that is on any rotating part of the tool may cause personal injury.
- Keep your feet firmly seated and balanced at all times. This will enable you to better control the tool in unexpected situations.
- Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry or long hair can get caught in moving parts.
- Wear hearing protection. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
Correct use of the tool
- Do not overload the tool. Use the tool for what it was designed for and for each type of work. Using the right tool and within its performance range will make the job safer and more effective.
- Do not use the tool with a damaged switch. Any tool that cannot be turned on or off is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Disconnect the compressed air supply before making any adjustments, changing accessories or storing tools. This precaution will prevent accidental starting of the tool.
- Store the tool out of the reach of children. Do not allow anyone unfamiliar with the tool or these instructions to use the tool. Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
- Maintain the tool properly. Check for proper operation of moving parts, binding/ binding, misalignment, seizure, cracks or other abnormalities. Have it repaired before use if necessary. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.
- Use the tool, accessories, bits, etc., in accordance with the instructions and in the manner designated for the particular type of particular type of tool, taking into account the conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the tool for operations other than those for which it is intended may result in hazardous situations.
- Take care of the tool and keep the tool clean. Follow the instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. Periodically inspect the pneumatic hose. Always keep the points where the operator holds the tool clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
- Never replace parts or components yourself. Always take the tool to an authorized service center.
- Use original parts, spare parts and accessories.
- If your tool needs replacement after prolonged use, do not dispose of it with household waste, but dispose of it in an environmentally safe manner.
Safety warnings
- Never carry the tool by the pneumatic hose. Protect the hose from heat and sharp surfaces.
- Secure the workpiece. Use clamps or similar for clamping. This allows the user to have both hands free to operate the air hammer.
- Maintain a correct and safe position when operating the equipment. When starting the machine, keep it at a distance of 20 cm from your body, even when releasing the operating button. Stopping is not instantaneous, wait until it comes to a complete stop.
- Check that the compressed air supply pressure is correct before switching on the hammer.
- Keep hands away from rotating parts.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
Before start-up
ATTENTION:
Add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil to the air inlet connection before use.
Add a few more drops after every hour of continuous use.
- Install the Chisel and pull vigorously to make sure it is firmly secured.
- Install the ½” quick connector on the air inlet of the tool. To do this, apply thin nylon tape to the threads of the connector, then thread the connector into the gun air inlet.
- Connect the chisel hammer to a suitable compressor or compressed air supply. Use a compressed air hose with a quick coupling for this purpose.
- Make sure that the air regulating screw is adjusted so that the air can flow smoothly.
- Hold the tool with both hands and place the chisel tip on the workpiece.
- Press the trigger to start the tool.
- Release the trigger to stop the tool.
- If the tool requires more force to perform the task, verify that it is receiving sufficient unobstructed air flow and pressure; increase the regulator pressure output to the maximum allowed by the tool, (6.3Bar).
ATTENTION: Do not exceed this maximum pressure. If the tool is still not
strong enough at maximum pressure and with sufficient air flow, then the job
to be done may require a tool with more capacity. Chisel assembly and
disassembly
ATTENTION:
Before mounting or removing the tip or chisel, make sure that the machine is
disconnected from the compressed air supply.
- Before mounting or removing the tip or chisel, make sure that the machine is disconnected from the compressed air supply.
- Screw the retaining spring all the way into the cylinder thread until it stops, so that the chisel is seated.
To remove or replace the chisel:
DANGER:
After use, the tip/chisel may be hot and there may be a risk of burns. Allow
to cool and use appropriate protection to prevent damage.
- Disconnect the unit from the compressed air source.
- Remove the spring/bracket from the air hammer.
- Remove the tip/brush from the spring/retainer.
Speed regulation / air inlet
To regulate the speed of the hammer, turn the knob on the air regulator.
ATTENTION:
Excessive pressure on the tool will not increase the working speed, but will
damage the bit/chisel, decreasing performance and tool life. Always clamp the
tool in a vise or suitable device.
After using the tool
WARNING:
To avoid accidents, turn off the tool, disconnect the air supply, safely
discharge any residual air pressure in the tool. Wipe the external surfaces of
the tool with a clean, dry cloth and apply a thin coat of tool oil.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
ATTENTION:
Before cleaning and/or maintenance of the tool, make sure that the tool is
disconnected from the compressed air supply.
Air supply
To facilitate tool changes and future maintenance, it is recommended that a
damper be installed on the mains by-pass to shut off the compressed air during
servicing and maintenance.
- Make sure that the air compressor can supply full air pressure to the tool.
- Use a maximum pressure of 6.3bar (90 PSI). High pressure and poor air treatment will shorten tool life, and high pressure and poor air treatment will shorten tool life and can also lead to dangerous situations.Drain the pressure regulating cup daily. and drain the compressor reservoir supplying the air, as water in the system can damage the tool. Use a line filter and pressure regulator.
- For optimum performance of the pneumatic tool, it is recommended that the air hose have an internal diameter of 3/8″ so that there is not too much pressure loss.
- Keep hoses away from heat, oil and sharp surfaces.
- Check hoses for wear and tear and make sure all connections are secure and tight.
- ATTENTION: If it is not possible to install a filter-pressure regulator-lubricator assembly in the pneumatic system, the tool should be lubricated with two to six drops of oil applied directly through the air inlet. This should be done at least once a day or after every two hours of operation.
Storage
- If it is necessary to store the machine for an extended period of time, it should first be lubricated and then run for approximately 30 seconds to ensure that the oil has been evenly distributed throughout the machine.
- Store the pneumatic hammer and its accessories in the case supplied with the product and store it in a clean, dry place.
