Product Usage Instructions

Safety Instructions:

  • Avoid exposing the barbecue to precipitation during or after use.
  • Store the barbecue in a dry location after use.
  • Do not use combustible liquids or barbecue charcoal with the appliance.
  • Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the barbecue.
  • Do not move the barbecue while it is lit or hot.
  • Never use the barbecue indoors.

Assembly:

  1. Connect the support tubes (11) to the bracket on (10).
  2. Mount the four support tubes by pressing pin (A) down and inserting it.

Barbecue Usage:

  • Before using the barbecue, read through the instructions carefully.
  • Ensure the temperature control unit is properly connected to the barbecue plate (6).
  • Use a small amount of oil or grease to enhance the grilling process.
  • Keep raw and cooked meat separate to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Learn where on the barbecue the best heat can be found to suit the food you want to barbecue.
  • Do not immerse the heating element control in water or any other liquid.

Special safety instructions

  • This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and above, or by persons with a physical, sensory or psychological disability or anyone without experience or knowledge unless they have been instructed how to use the appliance safely and they understand the dangers that may arise.

  • Children must not play with the appliance.

  • Cleaning and other maintenance may only be undertaken by children aged 8 and above if they are supervised.

  • For outdoor use only.

  • The barbecue must not be exposed to precipitation, either during or after use, and must be stored in a location free of moisture after use.

  • The barbecue should be placed on a firm.
    level surface before being lit. This surface paving stones or packed earth. There grass, plants or rubbish under or near to the barbecue.

  • Keep the barbecue at a safe distance from combustible materials. Position the barbecue at a reasonable distance from all such materials.

  • Never move the barbecue while it is in use. Give the appliance time to cool down before moving it or putting it into storage.

  • Never leave the barbecue unattended while in use.

  • Always check that the socket used has the correct voltage in relation to the appliance connected to it. The socket must be suitable for use with equipment with a power consumption of 2000 W.

  • Make sure that if you use an extension cord, it is suitable for power consumption of 2000 W. However, we recommend use without an extension cord.

  • Unplug the barbecue from the mains when not in use.

  • The unit must not be used if the plug is damaged.

  • The power cord must be inspected regularly for signs of damage. Do not use the appliance if the cord is damaged.

  • In the event of a defect or damage, never try to repair the damage yourself. Instead contact the supplier.

  • The barbecue must not be used with a temperature control unit with a damaged plug or cord.

  • Always connect the temperature control unit to the barbecue before plugging the cord into the power socket.

  • Unplug the temperature control unit from the power socket before removing it from the barbecue.

  • If the barbecue will not be used for a prolonged period, remove the temperature control unit from the barbecue.

  • The temperature of accessible surfaces can get very hot when the appliance is in use.

  • The temperature control unit and the power cable must not be submerged in liquid for cleaning purposes.

  • Do not submerge the barbecue in water when cleaning it.

  • Do not submerge the plug, cord or heating element control in water or any other liquid, as this may cause an electric shock.

  • Make sure that the plug and cord are kept dry while they are in use.

  • In order to prevent the barbecue being splashed or falling into water, there must be at least three metres’ distance from all forms of water, such as a swimming pool, lake, etc.

  • Do not use barbecue charcoal or combustible liquids in this barbecue. The barbecue is not designed for use with barbecue charcoals, which may cause fire. The fire may create a dangerous situation and damage the barbecue.

  • NOTE! The temperature of accessible surfaces can get very hot when the appliance is in use. Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the barbecue. Do not move the barbecue whilst it is lit or hot. Never use it indoors.

  • Use separate cooking utensils for raw and cooked meat. Keep them separate to avoid transfer of bacteria to the cooked meat and the risk of food poisoning.

  • Charcoal, gas and electric barbecues differ significantly from type to type. For the optimal experience, we recommend that you practise consistently so that you learn where on the barbecue the best heat can be found to suit the food you want to barbecue.

  • Do not use non-original accessories that have not been recommended by the supplier.

  • The appliance may only be used as a barbecue and with suitable foodstuffs.

Assembly

  1. Connect the support tubes (11) to the bracket on (10).
    Mount the four support tubes by pressing pin (A) down and inserting it.
    Make sure you hear a click sound, which means the tubes are inserted the right way

  2. Connect the food tray holders (12) to the support tube (11).
    Then insert the food tray (13) into the holders (12).

  3. Insert the drip tray (7) into the grill holder (8) as shown on the drawing.
    Then click the grill holder (8) onto the bracket grill bracket (10)

  4. Insert the grill plate (6) into the grill holder (8) as shown on the drawing.
    Insert the detachable temperature regulator with the power cord (3) through the matched-up hole in the grill holder (8), to connect it to the grill plate (6).
    Make sure it is cool and disconnected from the power.

  5. Use two ST4x14 screws (C) and poke them through a flat stainless-steel washer(B) and the grill lid (2) before screwing them into the handle (1).

  6. Finally the power plug is inserted into a wall outlet, but first, make sure that the detachable temperature regulator is properly inserted into the grill plate (6)
    It is possible to unclick the grill holder (8) and take it inside to use it as an indoor grill.
    Note! The grill plate(6) must only be used together with the grill holder(8) !

Use

  1. Assemble the barbecue as per the instructions in this manual, then carefully insert the thermostat unit into the barbecue without pressing it. Make sure that it is in the off position before connecting it to the wall box socket.
  2. Then turn the thermostat on. The light indicator comes on until the set temperature is reached, after which it will go out. In order to maintain the temperature, it will come on again to ensure the barbecue always maintains the required temperature.
  3. The first few times you will need to familiarise yourself with the barbecue in relation the different foods you cook and the heat setting.
  4. You can use the lid during cooking, depending on the type of food.
  5. After use, turn off the thermostat unit by turning it to the Off position. Unplug the appliance.
  6. Once the barbecue has cooled down, the thermostat unit can be removed and the barbecue cleaned.
    Note:
    The drip tray must always be installed during use!
    Only use suitable utensils to avoid damaging the non-stick surface. You can also use a little oil or fat to fry with. This ensures a better
    When using the lid, be careful when opening it. Hot steam may have collected under it.
    Do not use the barbecue for more than approx. 45 minutes at a time.

Cleaning

  • Make sure the barbecue is disconnected from the power and has cooled down completely.
  • Clean the non-stick surface with a damp cloth dipped in soapy water, then just dipped in water to remove any soapy residues. Then wipe with a dry cloth. Repeat the process until the surface is clean.
  • Empty and wash the drip tray each time the barbecue has been used if grease has gotten into it.
  • Remember that the barbecue must be completely dry before using it again.
  • No parts can tolerate being submerged in water or getting wet in any other way, including in a dishwasher. Read under ‘Special safety instructions’.

Storage

Store the barbecue indoors in dry surroundings, free of moisture and water. Clean the barbecue before putting it into storage. It is a good idea to cover the barbecue to protect it.
