Important Safety Instructions

Do not use this product in a control system that requires a hight degree of safety and reliability.

Do not step or place heavy objects on this product as this could damage it.

Avoid hight or low-temperature locations for storage.

Do not store this product in a location where the temperature drops below 5°C or goes above 40°C and in locations subject to excessive temperature fluctuations. Failure to heed this caution could result in damage to the product and its components.

Do not disassemble.
Do not disassemble or modify this product as this could expose you to heat, fire, electric shock and injury. Disassembling the product will also void your warranty.

Do not use alcohol for cleaning.
Never use alcohol thinner, benzene or other mineral solvents as they could discolour or cause deterioration to the product.

Do not place glasses or vases filled with water or other liquids near this product.
Exposure to water or liquid could damage the product.

Caution
Do not place metal objects on this product during operation.
Placing metal objects on this product during operation could cause it to malfunction or damage it.

Do not strike the pen against hard objects.
Striking the pen against hard object could damage it.

Do not handle the pen with soiled hands.
The pen is a high precision instrument. Handling it with soiled hands or using it in locations exposed to dust or strong odors may cause the entry of foreign matter which will result in breakdown.

Overview
Welcome to the VEIKK! This user manual will help you setup the VK1560 and install the driver. Either you are a beginner or professional, this one can satisfy your requirement.
For the driver, please download from www.veikk.com.

  1. Connect the end of USB cable to computer.
  2. Connect the other end of USB cable to VK1560.
  3. Connect one end of HDMI cable to computer.
  4. Connect the other end of HDMI cable to VK1560.
  5. Plug the power cable into power outlet.
  6. Plug the other end of the power adapter into VK1560 power port

Display Connection

Note 1: We recommended you insert the VEIKK USB cable to the host USB port of your computer. You may use a USB hub with and attached external power supply to adequately power your VEIKK if needed.

Note 2: Make sure your computer supports multiple monitors. Check if your computer has extra HDMI ports. If your computer has an independent video card, please use the HDMI ports there.

Note 3: If there isn’t any input signal, it means the table doesn’t receive HDMI video input. Please reconnect the HDMI cable or change another HDMI cable or change another computer to have a try.

Installation on Windows

  1. 1. Before installing driver, please uninstall all tablet drivers from your computer, and keep all antivirus program closed.

  2. Connect the tablet to your computer before installation.

  3. Please download updated driver from www.veikk.com.

  4. Unzip download file to desktop, open the new unzipped folder.

  5. Click VK TabletDriver.exe and follow onscreen instructions.

Monitor Mapping

How to Change to Extended Display

Extended Display means you work with a larger Windows area spanning your computer monitor and your VK1560 LCD Display. Applications can be moved from one display to the other and will allow you to work in different screen resolutions.

  1. Right-click your desktop and select Screen Resolution.

  2. In Multiple Display dropdown, change to [Extend these Displays]

  3. If your computer is equipped with more than one monitor, your VK1560 pen display will map to the monitors based on how they are configured in the DISPLAY PROPERTIES control panel.

  4. After you have correctly configured your computer for multiple monitors, you can then adjust your VK1560 pen display mapping by opening the driver icon and charging the appropriate options. This enables you to toggle the current VK1560 mapping and screen cursor between the system desktop or primary display and your other monitors.

Note: Under the Duplicate display mode of the Multiple Display function, the display resolution of your monitor must be set to the same resolution as your VK1560. Otherwise, your pen cursor will be misplaced on the screen. For VK1560, please make sure the other monitor resolution is set to 1920×1080.

Pen Function Settings
You may customize the functions of pen buttons. Use the “Pen” option to program custom keystrokes.

Current Pen Pressure
Current Pen Pressure shows the current pressure level being exerted on your tablet and can be used to test pen pressure.

You can adjust pen pressure to “Output” or “Press” sensitivity on here

Define the display area that will be mapped to the computer screen area.

If can freely rotate the pen display and satisfy left hand users.

Screen Mapping
If working in Extended Display, choose which monitor you want your VK1560 pen display to track with. Most likely, you will want it to track with the VK1560 display. To learn which monitor is Monitor 1 and which is Monitor 2. Please go to Start > Settings > Display and click Identify.

Calibration
Click “Start Calibration” to activate the calibration screen. Press the crosses appearing on the screen one by one with the P68 pen to calibrate the screen.

Enable Windows Ink Function
Microsoft Windows provides extensive support for pen input. Pen features are supported in such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop CC, AI and so on.

Hotkeys
Redefine Hotkey: Click on the title of the button. A dropdown menu will appear with a list of tool options. Choose the one you want to use. Custom Define: At the bottom of the dropdown menu, choose Custom. This will allow you to input a custom keyboard shortcut.

Note: Software keystrokes are based on English input methods. If not yet, set to English when using Hotkeys on your VK1560 pen display.

Note: Most creative software will not accept keystroke inputs when you pen is still in use or when your pen is still within the detectable cursor range. To avoid invalid keystroke actions, hold the pen away from the screen before pressing your Fast Access button. (Hold pen at least 1.5 cm away from the surface of the screen.)

You can define 5 functions to the Dail. Tap on Dial button to select the function you would like to use. To switch between functions, press down on the edge of the Dial. You will see the function name briefly at the bottom of the screen when switched.

About Us
Check for updating: If you want to install the newest driver, click “Check for updating”. If there is no response, that means the driver you installed is the newest. If you find newest driver in the list, you just need to update.
