  • Do not use this product as a traffic tool.
  • To reduce the risk of injury, adult supervision is required. Never use in roadways, near motor vehicles, on or near steep inclines or steps, swimming pools or other bodies of water; always wear shoes, and never allow more than 1 rider.
  • Do not use this product on slippery surface. Always drive the vehicle on smooth surface, and do not drive the vehicle on the grassplot, rugged ground.
  • Rider should always wear shoes when riding on this product.
  • Always keep hands, hair, clothing, and loose items away from moving parts.
  • Maximum users’ weight for this product is 55.12 lb / 25 kg.
  • This product is suitable for children age of 3 years or older.
  • Do not change, modify or add any electrical wiring on this product.

Battery and Charging Warnings

The following safety hazards may result in serious injury or death to the user of the ride-on

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium batteries.)
  • Corrosive Material Warnings
  • Battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds (acids) chemicals and are toxic and corrosive. Never open the battery.
  • Contact or exposure to battery leakage (lead acid) may cause serious injury. If contact or exposure occurs with the skin or in the eyes, or if the chemical is swallowed, immediately call 911.

WARNING

  • Flammable and Explosive Materials Warnings
  • Use of a battery or charger other than the supplied rechargeable battery and charger may cause a fire or explosion. Only use the supplied rechargeable battery and charger with the ride-on toy.
  • Do not charge the battery near heat or flammable materials.
  • Using the rechargeable battery and charger for any other product many result in overheating, fire or explosion. Never use the rechargeable battery and charger with another product.
  • Contact between the positive and negative terminals may result in fire or explosion. Avoid direct contact between the terminals. Lifting the battery by the wires or charger can cause damage to the battery and may result in a fire. Always lift the battery by its case or handles.
  • Plug wall charger directly into a wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord when charging as the use of an extension cord can cause a fire.
  • Electric Shock / Fire Warnings
  • Liquids on the battery may cause fire or electric shock. Always keep all liquids away from the battery and keep the battery dry.
  • Tampering or modifying the electric circuit system may cause a shock, fire or explosion and permanently damage the system. Exposed wiring, circuitry in the charger may cause electric shock. Always keep the charger housing closed.
  • Regularly check charger, supply cord and connector for wear and damage. Look for frayed or kinked wires, any exposed inner wires, any missing insulation. If any damage is observed do not plug in the charger and do not charge the battery.

CAUTION

Re-Charge Interval and Time

Important

  • Damage to the battery may occur if it is allowed to drain completely. Do not allow the battery to drain completely.
  • Check the battery and charger (supply cord, connector) for wear and damage before charging. Do not charge the battery if damage has occurred. Do not use an extension cord when charging the ride-on toy.
  • On average you will need to charge the battery for 8-10 hours and no more than 20 hours. Failure to charge the battery as directed could cause permanent damage to the battery and void the warranty.
  • Only an adult who has read and understands the safety warnings should handle, charge and recharge the battery.

Assembly Warnings

  • The ride-on toy must be assembled by an adult who has read and understands the instructions in this manual.

Parts and Feature

Assembly Instruction

WARNING
This product should only be assembled by an adult. Children can be harmed by small parts, sharp edges and points or by electrical items. Care should be taken when unpacking and assembling the vehicle.

  • Assemble the Side Bracket (H) under the car body. (On the two sides of car bottom middle)
  • Secure the Side Bracket with 8 pcs M4 x 12 mm Screws (N) on each side.

12L (2 motors):

  • Assemble a M12 Big Washer (K), Front Wheel (F), M8 Small Washer (J) to the front axle, and secure with a Nut (L). Then cover with a Wheel Cover (G). Repeat the same process on the other side.
  • Assemble a Rear Wheel (E), M8 Small Washer (J) to the rear axle, and secure with Nut (L). Then cover with a Wheel Cover (G). Repeat the same process on the other side.

12LP (4 motors):

  • Assemble a Front Wheel (F), M8 Small Washer (J) to the front axle, and secure with a Nut (L). Then cover with a Wheel Cover (G). Repeat the same process on the other side.
  • Assemble a Rear Wheel (E), M8 Small Washer (J) to the rear axle, and secure with Nut (L). Then cover with a Wheel Cover (G). Repeat the same process on the other side.

Attention: In order to fully tightening the nuts on the rear axle to secure the rear wheels, you need to use another spanner to hold another side nut on the rear axle. And you may adjust the rear axle position when assemble the rear wheels.

  • Connect the steering rod and steering wheel connectors by the correspond colored wires.

  • Insert the Steering wheel into the slot of the steering column.

  • Connect the electric wire from the battery to the car body.

  1. Align and insert the two joints of seat to the slots on the seat base as above diagram.
  2. Align and press/snap the Seat (D) to the slot on the car body as above diagram.

Seat dis-assembly:

  • Connect the light connectors (please retract the wires into the square slot after connection), align and insert then snap the Rear Spoiler (I) to the car body.
  • Secure the Rear Spoiler in place using 2 Screws (N).

User Instruction

Control the vehicle

Power Button
Press and hold the power button to turn ON and OFF the vehicle.

Speed Switch
Press the speed switch to choose between low and high speed mode.

Forward / Neutral / Reverse Lever
Push / Pull the lever to forward or backward to choose the vehicle moving direction. Hold the lever on the middle position to enable the vehicle in neutral.

  • Do not change between forward and reverse until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.

Light Switch
Press the light switch to turn on and off the light.

Sound Button
Press the sound button make engine sound or horn sound effects.

Accelerator Pedal
Step on the accelerator pedal to move the vehicle. Release the accelerator pedal to stop the vehicle.

Media Player
Use the media player to play music.

User Instruction (Media Player)

Control the media player

  1. Display Screen
    The display screen can display the battery voltage status and audio source.

  2. Mode Button
    Press the mode button to choose between USB, AUX, Bluetooth, and FM radio functions.

  3. Previous / Volume down button
    Press once to play the previous music track.
    Press and hold to decrease the volume.

  4. Play / Pause / FM Station Search
    Press once to play or pause the music track.
    Press and hold to automatically search a radio station.

  5. Next / Volume up Button
    Press once to play the next music track.
    Press and hold to increase the volume.

  6. Audio Source

    • Insert and play music from an external device by connecting via USB port or AUX port.
    • External device can be connected to the media player via Bluetooth.
    • Turn on the Bluetooth setting on the device.
    • Select “KIDZONE RIDE-ON” from the device list searched by the device.

User Instruction (Remote Control)

  • One light=slow speed
  • Two lights=middle speed
  • Three lights=high speed

Using the remote control
The remote control should only be used by adult. For your child’s safety, please make sure the seat belt is securely fastened when operating this product.

Establish Connection
Press and hold the forward and reverse button for 3 seconds, and the speed indicator flashes. Then power on the vehicle, the speed indicator will remain on to indicate a successful connection. If the speed indicator does not light up, it means the connection failed. Replace the batteries and retry.

Change Battery
The battery should only be replaced by an adult. Remove the cover on the back of the controller and insert two AAA (LR03) batteries in correct polarity.

WARNING:
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
NOTE: If the remote controller is not used for 10 seconds, it will shut down automatically.

User Instruction (Charging)
Two methods for charging:

WARNING
The battery should only be charged by an adult. The battery is not replaceable.
Charging the battery

  1. Locate the charging port on the car body (near the seat) or directly on the battery.
  2. Connect the charger to the charging port.
  3. Plug the charger into a wall outlet. The battery will start charging.
    • The vehicle must be OFF when charging.
    • Recharge the battery if the vehicle operates slowly.
    • DO NOT operate the vehicle charging.

NOTE:

  • Damage to the battery may occur if it is completely drained.
  • Charge the battery for at least 12 hours for the first time.
  • Charge the battery for about 8 – 10 hours.
  • Do not charge the battery for more than 20 hours.
  • Charge the battery at least once a month even if not operating the vehicle for a long time to maximize the battery life.
  • Do not charge or store the battery upside down.
  • Keep the charger and battery away from flames, sparks, or any flammables.

Protective Fuse
When electrical current exceed certain rating, the fuse will cut off power supply for 10 seconds automatically.

WARNING
DO NOT remove or bypass the protective fuse. Removing or bypassing the fuse may overload and damage the electrical system.

Battery Replacement
In the event of battery malfunction and need to be removed,

  1. Remove the seat.
  2. Disconnect the battery connection.
  3. Remove the 4 screws on the side of the battery.
  4. Lift and take the battery away from the compartment.

NOTE:

  • Sealed lead-acid battery must be recycled or disposed in an environmentally sound manner and subject to local regulation.
  • Never dispose the battery in the regular, household trash.
  • Always remove exhausted or malfunctioned battery from the vehicle.
  • Do not dispose a lead-acid battery in a fire, the battery may explode or lead harmful materials.

Care and Maintenance

  • Check the product regularly and make sure there is no missing or loose parts. Re-tighten any loose parts if necessary.
  • Make sure there is no cracked or broken plastic parts.
  • Keep away the product from heat and humid area, cover it with trap when not in use
  • Turn off the product and disconnect the battery if the product is not use for a long period of time.
  • Clean the vehicle with a cloth. Use a non-wax furniture polish to restore shine to plastic parts. Do not use abrasive cleaner.
  • Do not wash the product with a hose or immerse any parts in water or other liquid.
  • Occasionally use lightweight oil to lubricate moving parts.

Limited Term Warranty (One Year from Date of Purchase)

WARRANTY TERMS
KIDZONE warrants that its merchandise are free from manufacturing defects (workmanship and/or material) and will either give credit or replace defective parts for a period of up to one (1) year from the date of purchase in accordance with the conditions set forth below. If a manufacturing defect is found, KIDZONE should be notified promptly of the defect and supplied a copy of the invoice and delivery ticket. Inspection by a KIDZONE employee or representative may be necessary to verify that a manufacturing defect exists, or you may be required to submit samples to KIDZONE along with a digital image of the defects. If replacement is required in accordance with this warranty and the defective material or merchandise has been discontinued or unavailable, KIDZONE reserves the right to select and supply similar merchandise or offer full credit for the merchandise; otherwise the same material or merchandise will be supplied for replacement purposes. This warranty is made solely to the retailer and is not transferable under any circumstances. It is the retailer’s responsibility to contact KIDZONE with a claim.
